easy check in, great location, quiet even though we were on a busy street, good blinds that kept out light, good aircon, good sized bathroom, loved the rooftop. great value for money

room is small (but this was expected), the bed was very hard and not very comfortable

If you are familiar with airbnb then this is the hotel version of that. Someone was at the front desk when we checked in, the majority of the time no one will be upfront (which was fine with me). You still feel safe because there are two codes, one for the building and one for the room. I loved the art in the building and the amazing view in the 7th floor.

The rooms were small but that's to be expected in New York. I can understand how the noise outside can be a problem for some but we had no problem falling asleep. I just wish the wifi was better, other than that this was perfect for a quick vacation.

Perfect location and area safe also at night.

Sometimes very bad internet connection. It could change during the day from good to slow to dead. In the basement it always worked perfect. On the roof it didn´t work. This is the only thing that is not good with the hotel but it is not acceptable 2023. The room is very small so it is always impossible to open a big suitcase and if you are two persons it is even more tight. Otherwise very good.

The location is amazing. A few minutes from the subway. Whole foods really near. Some restaurantes and bars around as well. The staff is helpfull. The wifi is great. The view from the rooftop is great too. The rooms are cozy

Not that much space in the room we stayed for the suitcases and the stuff we had. The room cleaning is an extra. The kitchnet should be more equiped.

Clean, comfortable, safe, good privacy, affordable by NYC standards, central location, close to convenience store and places to eat, garages and public transport nearby, quiet enough despite being on a busy corner, nice rooftop deck.

The room could have used a chair. Even a folding chair tucked in the closet would have been useful. Also, there was only one washcloth and hand towel. Two for two people would have been nice. Not serious complaints, just things that could be improved.

Perfect location. The staff, even though not physically present, is very responsive. We were able to check-in early, after a night flight. The housekeepers were very nice! Amazing view from the terrace.

The temperature in the room was quite low in the night, and the thermostat didn't seem to work. The hotel looks quite modern. However, some things in the room looked run down or damaged (e.g., ceiling in the bathroom and shelf with the microwave).

We had the ideal view from our room, could see midtown and the one tower from our room so it was perfect for our first trip to NYC. Has a fridge, microwave and coffee machine in our room. Really close to 2nd Ave Station and walking distance to loads of interesting parts of Manhattan. Rooftop offers beautiful views of the city. The location is its big selling point! It also has aircon and is comfy and clean, if not a lil tight but that's expected for the city. There is a communal area/kitchen in the basement and rooftop if you want more space

The facilities haven't been updated with new "contactless" policy. There's no one at the front desk, no luggage storage, you have to pay extra if you want your room cleaned during your stay. The online staff are helpful but it's a bit odd. More like one step up from a hostel but it's still safe and clean
