The Lexington Hotel, Autograph Collection

I was very impressed with the price I was able to score with such a prestigious and comfortable hotel-- the needs for my friends and I were very minimal for the one night we stayed and for that reason, we had a great experience. Nice beds, lovely bathroom, great AC and a prime location for everywhere else we ended up going to. Also, super duper nice and efficient staff that made checking in and out a breeze.

It's minor, since we only stayed a night and didn't spend much time in the hotel anyway, but when we tried to watch Youtube on the TV, the connection was spotty at best. The quality differed and the videos would keep stopping and buffering--meanwhile, none of us were connected to the WiFi, which I also had trouble connecting to, so I didn't even bother. Again, for the reasons we stayed at the hotel, it really didn't matter to us about the WiFi quality, but to others it might be a big deal.

The breakfast was okay but it was less inviting than last year when I stayed here. There were no warm things—scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon- and cold hard-boiled eggs with cold fruit are not the same.

Drinks are too expensive. With tip, a martinie is $35 and that is crazy, as is wine at $150 for a bottle of Sancerre. The menu is also too limited for food, since there is no restaurant. I arrived from France late in the afternoon, alone, and too tired to go out. I finally had a chicken quesadilla , which was good, but there was no salad or really anything healthy thing to eat.

Most NYC hotel rooms are tiny but this one was surprisingly spacious and it had two bathrooms and two closets which I never see but was very happy for since we had our two kids with us. Everything was better than I expected. It was a pretty penny for this particular time due to New Years but at least it was worthwhile. It’s also only 3 blocks from a metro stop and walking distance to Times Square, Radio City Music Hall and lots of other attractions.

We got there early around 1pm and our room wasn’t ready so we had to check our bags and they charged each bag to hold it. The amount of money we paid for the room they could have made that complementary.

The room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The room was very quiet, probably thanks to other quiet guests as well. The room was equipped with an iron and ironing board too :) Housekeeping was performed daily, with towels replaced as well. I used the resort fees towards the buffet breakfast, which I found convenient. The breakfast buffet selection is good, with scrambled eggs, bacon/sausages, potatoes, assortment of pastries to name a few. And fruits. The hotel is beautifully decorated with a jazz theme, and it's nice having breakfast in the Stayton Room with jazz music playing in the background (and in the elevators as well). I also like the fact that the hotel provides filtered water near the reception lobby. So good! You can bring your water bottles and fill them up there. Also, they provide free coffee/tea in the mornings in the same area. The hotel location is great, close to Grand Central Terminal (about 15 mins walks). Also a short stroll (less than 30 mins) to 5th Avenue shopping area. There's Starbucks on the hotel premises too. Overall, the staff is very helpful and courteous and I enjoyed my stay.

During my stay, I noticed anyone can gain access to the floors as we don't need to swipe our key cards at the elevators.

Hotel is in a good East Side location, Nice lobby and very courteous staff. Easy to get a taxi/Uber.

Breakfast buffet was very disappointing. Limited selection. Would have preferred to have been able to order breakfast. Buffet was akin to that offered at budget motels. We went out to eat to get a decent meal.This buffet was far below what I expected from a Marriott property. In-room clock radio was good for phone charging if you have an iPhone. Not Adroid friendly at all.

Staff very nice, great location, beautiful hotel

we arrived at 430pm yo check in and was told our room was not ready. waited till 5pm to check in again and was told that it would be another hour before our room was clean. we explained we had 530om reservations and a Broadway show at 7 so we needed to get ready. The manager immediately said “well look we have a room ready” Therefore I feel the check in process needs to be worked on. This would be the only reason I would not give this hotel a perfect rating.

Not being next to a building going up that started at 7 am. Also much problem with tv going on.

It is located in a convenient place. Rooms are larger. Tea & coffee were available all the time at the front desk. Staff was very helpful. Also they served breakfast with our package. It was quite nice.

There were a few homeless people hanging around when I walked to nearby 7/11 shop which made me a bit scared. Other than that my whole experience there is very good.

Great style, cool also when fully booked and busy. Nice metropolitan atmosphere in lobby and hotel bar. Pleasant interior design and decoration. Live music, e.g. a pianist or a small jazz combo for cocktail hour, would make it perfect.

Rooms smallish, but within New York standards. Bathroom without separate air circulation - damp after even a short shower.

There was no hot breakfast Thursday and Friday of our stay There was no microwave or fridge in the room The heater didn't seem to work properly. Had to keep window shade down to trap heat.
