Hilton Club The Central at 5th New York

This hotel to me was the perfect choice for a one-week-stay to explore New York City. Right at the pulse of Midtown Manhatten with a central subway station two blocks away, I was given all the comfort I needed. Customer care at the front desk, friendly smiles, free beverages, clean, tidy and modern interior, technically fully up-to-date. Fully recommend and will return there the next time for sure!

There actually was nothing at all that could have bothered me. Of course some things work different than expected, but in general I don’t think that any other hotel could have provided a better place to enjoy my vacation and serve me with all the conveniences I needed in a city that never sleeps.

Fantastic location with the Rockefeller less that 3-4 mins walk away and Grand Central 5 mins away. Empire State, Times Square and Central Park are 10-15 mins away. It's in the middle of everything but on a slightly quieter street so ticks all boxes. Rooms are big for NYC incredibly comfortable and really well equipped. The thing that really makes this hotel a 10/10 is the staff. Amazingly friendly people. They learn your names, give loads of great tips and are always there to help. When we checked out we didn't even have to ask for baggage storage and a taxi, they knew what we needed and gave estimates on journey times on a Friday at 315pm and sorted it all for us. It's a great base for any New York holiday/adventure. Would definitely recommend.

Nothing. We didn't have a single complaint. If we needed anything we could speak to the team or simply order it through the TV.

Very good location. Few minutes walk from Grand Central station. All attractions are close by as well. Facility is very new. Rooms are very well equipped. Bathroom is spacious. Gym is small but good enough for basic training and some cardio.

No bar. No restaurant. No pool. Wi-Fi was on and of sometimes. No breakfast option. Mini bar is empty (only water). Price is very high but comparable to most of better hotels in the area.

The hotel is very modern, clean and the staff is really friendly! The location is amazing and the rooms are quite spacious. Definitely if we visit NYC again we would stay again with them!

There are some issues when you go to sleep and put the head on the pillow that there is a continuous buzzing that might get you on your nerves. It seems like there is something with the electricity on the room 2005. Also inside the shower the drain usually smells bad even though they came and clean it, it kept smelling bad.

Everything was perfect - the room was spacious, very new and clean, the design of the rooms is very nice and all the technology, and the staff was lovely

The location as well as the staff and rooms where amazing. It exceeded what we expected. The staff was on point, since they welcomed us, till after we've checked out (helped us with our bags storage and transportation to the airport)

The Professionalism and the Hospitality of the Staff, CLEANLINESS!, NO PETS, Refreshing tea and water drinks in the lobby, the Location of Hotel, Outdoor settings, Keurig machine with variety of pods, available water bottles, etc. helped make our stay pleasurable. The Staff was available at any time to assist you if you needed help finding places to go to or if you needed something for your room.

Although there are a ton restaurants nearby and the hotel did not mind you bringing back food to the hotel, it would be nice to have a small cafe of some sorts inside the hotel. Or, the hotel could have something set up where you can grab a small bite or snack in the hotel. My wife and I still enjoyed our stay! The noise outside sometimes was evident, however eventually when we dosed off to sleep we were fine.

We came to NYC for an anniversary trip and could not have chosen a better hotel. Super clean, comfy beds and pillows. Our room had a coffee maker, we requested a tea kettle and they immediately obliged. The location was unbeatable, you're right on the fifth avenue and literally a 10 min walk to all main attractions (MOMA, Times Square, Broadway, Summit One etc.). Subway station is really close too They don't serve breakfast but have so many cute little bakeries and cafes around that you would really want to try those anyway. Elevators are quite fast. The service was wonderful and staff is absolutely fantastic, always helpful, friendly and greeting you with a smile. We loved every minute of out stay. Thank you for making our trip so special.

The hotel location is excellent between 5th and Madison. A safe street to walk, and lots of food options within a short distance of the hotel. The room was clean, modern and up to date, loved the floor to ceiling window with my view of the city. The hotel is quiet, comfortable and safe. Even though it does not have any bar or restaurant facilities there is a bright and comfortable lobby area and courtyard that can be used. I would highly recommend this hotel for its location, comfort and friendly staff. I will be using this hotel again on my return visit.

If you are a light sleeper ask for a room at the back, as there is building work going on at the end of the block, which can be heard late at night sometimes, (not the hotels fault) but it's the city ,there is always going to be noise. I was more than happy with my room at the front as the noise of the city doesn't bother me. It is New York after all!!!

cannot beat the location - only a few moments walk to Grand Central to venture to the rest of the city. Right on 5th ave for all your shopping needs. room size was amazing for NYC. my partner and I didn’t feel like we were on top of each other which we were surprised by.

there really wasn’t much to fault. we didn’t love that the room was only serviced once in our weeks stay. we did ask for our bins to be emptied but unfortunately that didn’t happen so we had to stockpile our rubbish. when we did ask for fresh towels and water that was always given.
