Concorde Hotel New York

Great location, big room for NYC, big comfy bed, big bathroom, nice city view

The water pressure in the shower was poor and it took ages for the water to heat up, the bath towels were too small, the lift was pretty slow

What a lovely hotel: well located with big, modern and immaculately clean rooms. With a bath and separate shower, little closet and mini fridge. Molton Brown toiletries. Good wifi. Super comfortable bed. Highly recommend!

This hotel is a great hotel to stay in. The location was excellent as it was a little way from the main, busy tourist places but close enough you can walk to Central Park and Times Square. It was also within walking distance of a few subway stations. At the moment there is scaffolding outside the property but don’t let that put you off or confuse you. The staff were very friendly, always said good morning or welcome back when leaving and arriving the hotel. The doormen were also very friendly (particularly Abdul who took the time to get to know us). The room was spacious and I liked the fact that your card key would only take you to the floor you were staying on, providing that extra security. We had a nice view of the city around us from floor 26. The bed was comfy and the daily housekeeping was great. The hotel was clean and there was a lovely scent in the main reception. On level 3 is the gym and a water and coffee machine which we could help ourselves too. I always book my hotels based on reviews and this is a hotel definitely worth booking if you like comfort and cleanliness.

We had a Queen room with city view which was beautiful. Room was exceptionally clean and bed very comfortable. Bathroom had both shower and bath. Air conditioning was very quiet and worked well. Location was perfect…. Five minutes walk to nearest subway and ten minutes walk to Central Park. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially Abdul.

The mini fridge did not keep drinks very cold….. a small complaint I know but in the exceptionally warm weather a cold drink would have been welcome. Other than that everything was excellent.

The hotel was super clean & the lobby smelled so good! Beds were comfortable & room was cleaned everyday after we left! I appreciate the fact they allow door dashers to deliver to the room. I didn’t have to leave the room for anything until it was time to get my day started.

The Concorde Hotel is our “home away from home.” We will exclusively only stay at the Concorde hotel when doing business in the city - it is hands down - the best hotel in the area. The rooms are awesome! The beds and sheets are super comfortable. The views of the city are stunning. The staff is fantastic and TOP NOTCH! They have very convenient parking options - either valet parking right at the hotel or a 24-hour parking garage literally right next door to the hotel. The Concorde Hotel is also right next to all the shopping, restaurants, and entertainment - yet it is located on a very quiet street. The Concorde Hotel offers the best of all worlds and truly meets everyone’s needs! It’s really the ONLY PLACE TO STAY when in the city. We will definitely be back and we definitely recommend the Concorde Hotel to anyone who is visiting the area!

There is nothing we don’t like! Everything is always A++!!

Big spacious room and bathroom with lots of counter space and with a separate shower stall and tub which was great. The location was central to everything and most of the main department stores, ie Bloomingdales etc.. were quite close. lots of cafes, delis and restaurants nearby. The hotel had a Tapas restaurant which was quite a nice restaurant and they made it clear that it was not actually part of the hotel and you had to pay the restaurant separately.

The hotel did not have any F&B - so no room service but you could order food to the hotel. No housekeeping after 5pm which was annoying if you needed something. The hotel took a deposit of almost USD 500 when we checked in. Unfortunately I paid by debit card for the entire stay upfront as well as the deposit and 6 weeks later, have yet to see the amount returned to me even though I had written to them and they asked me to check with my bank who have no record of it being retuned.

Hotel’s location is fantastic, on 55th street, between Lexington and park Avenue, short walking distance to the Rockefeller Plaza and 5th Avenue. We booked the corner room, facing 55th street, and can only recommend it. Located on the 24th floor, the rooms was very spacious and the view was amazing. There is a Nespresso coffee machine in the the room, with coffee tabs replenished daily. One can always tap the drinking water in the common kitchen on the 3rd floor. For us, as European tourists, it was also very convenient to have lots of sockets for various types of chargers. The AC worked perfectly and was very quiet (not always a matter of course in NYC). In addition, you could turn it off and open the window. The personnel - both at the reception and the cleaning staff - was always friendly and attentive.

At the time when we were there, the neighbouring building was under renovation, making the immediate hotel surrounding a bit less attractive. Another minor point: the shower is very small and narrow, while the bathroom itself is quite spacious. Why not to scrap the bathtub and make the shower cabin larger?

The location is definitely wonderful - central, you can walk to a lot of areas in Manhattan, Central Park, 5th avenue. The Empire State is 30 min walk away. Our room was on the 31st floor and the view was stunning!

There were some small hygiene issues here and there. A toilet smell was coming out of the pipes, which made it quite unpleasant. A dust snow fell from the top of the wardrobe when we accidentally closed the door fast and it created wind. The bathroom ceiling was leaking - there was a sound of water dripping from the ceiling into the bathtub one of the nights. Otherwise, I have to say the room was serviced every day, the bed was made and everything organised.

while it is a compact high rise tower the rooms are very spacious and only 4 to a floor with the exception of the suites. The bar staff deserve a special mention as do the cleaning staff - both were exceptional.

There was some noisy construction work going on next door but that was retained to the hours of 9am till 5pm which didn’t impact on us as we were out sightseeing during the day! The worst issue was the undampened door closers which meant that room doors slammed close and did disturb us when guests on our floor level returned in the early hours. Not a major issue but a little annoying and a shame that guests weren’t considerate to others when returning to the hotel late at night/early morning.
