La Quinta by Wyndham Lynchburg at Liberty Univ.

The price, location and service was very good! Even the elevators were clean and smelled fresh! The house staff did all they could to accomadate our needs; including absolute privacy. This was so appreciated!

Tis not really about what we did not like but rather, the room itself - for what is was being marketed as. As a non-smoking room with amenities, the following met with some lower expectations: The mini-refrigerator made noises all night; the cabinet that it was housed in had a loose hinge which meant wrestling with the door to get at the refrigerator door; the smart screen TV was small - not expected in a single bed king-sized room and the bathroom was very small! It seemed as if one bed was removed and then the room itself billed as a master suite with king sized bed. ;)

The breakfast and the location were perfect for our needs. I congratulate you for your attention to the ladies who attended us at breakfast, there was cleaning and everything was very excellent.

When he requested more towels because we were 3 people, they told me that there were no towels because there were many customers and also the garbage in the garbage containers, they were not voted on time. They indicated, leave it outside the door, we left it outside the door, but they never picked it up.

The room was clean and well kept. My room was very quiet, I didn't hear the other guests although I knew people were next to me. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was provided and it was the full continental with waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal and the like - much better than the COVID-19 style breakfasts they were limited to during that time frame. The pool was nice - clear and the area clean. Staff was wonderfully helpful and kind. The hotel was located within 15 minutes of most locations we wanted to see, so it worked out very well for us.

Water pressure was a little low and hot water took a while to heat, but I was also on the outer edge of the buildings and farther away from the main areas. However, it did manage to get quite warm after a while and things were fine.

The hotel was PACKED but the staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. They certainly did well for being short staffed. Breakfast was a little hectic but the staff stayed professional and handled it well. The front desk was awesome and despite running low on towels, they managed to find a few.

We LOVED the Christian music that welcomed us as we pulled up. We were even more delighted that Christian music was played all three nights we stayed. All the staff was friendly and responsive that included those behind the desk, those who served breakfast, those who did janitorial duties, maintenance, and those who did housekeeping. We interacted with all of these people during our stay and were impressed by their good attitudes and eagerness to serve. We stayed on the fifth floor, which is the top floor. It was quiet. We liked their hot breakfast choices of eggs, sausage, hash browns, waffles, and pancakes. We also liked their cold breakfast choices. It was well planned to have the hot water, cold water, coffee and tea located outside the breakfast area. We also liked the special welcome touch of a College for a Weekend table with candy. We have been to two other hotels in the area, but we tried La Quinta because of its lower cost and its location to Liberty University. We will definitely return. In fact, we already have a night booked in May.

Add another waffle maker when the hotel is at capacity. We were there three nights. One breakfast there were too many people waiting to get the waffles and pancakes so we didn't get any that morning. Another wait was to get milk and juice which was put in the refrigerator because the juice machine was broken.

The atmosphere was awesome. The staff were very nice. The breakfast was very good and a nice variety of items to choose from. There was a lot of seating for the breakfast area. We could enjoy our breakfast without feeling rushed for others to sit down. My shower head water pressure was not good, but that is because the shower head needed replaced. When I told the front desk, they were responsive of my concerns. I would definitely use this hotel again.

The bathroom was small, very narrow. There was not a suitcase holder. I used the ironing board, but took up more room than I would have liked.

It was OK, nothing in particular stands out, but I was at a conference most of the days. It's a busy hotel, lots of young sports teams had checked in; expect the pool to be busy most evenings. The breakfast was decent. (Salsa and shredded cheese were even available for your eggs.)

Oddly, my room wasn't visited by housekeeping the first three days of my trip. Was running out of towels, so had to ask the front desk to send some up, and they finally cleaned the room that day.

Our room was awesome, bathroom a little small. Breakfast was a little disappointing, my eggs and sausage were not hot, barely warm, as was my husbands french toast sticks. The breakfast people were, what I assume the kitchen, very loud. On a brighter note, the lady that worked the front desk Monday evening, she was amazing. Very personable, friendly. I can only sum it up as she was Just plain AWESOME. Sorry I do not know her name. We will be back.

The breakfast, we have stayed there before and the breakfast was great, Tuesday morning was not the case, my waffle as awesome toppings great, The eggs, sausage and french toast were barely warm. And the breakfast attendants were way too loud. You could here everything they were saying. Not exactly what you want to hear while eating. Again the food was not hot.

Breakfast was exceptional. Rooms clean and comfortable. Staff was amazing with any little request or question.

We stayed 4 days ans the maid service only came once and that was at my request. The problem is they didn't even empty the trash which led to a LOT of ants in our bathroom and by trash cans.

Breakfast was above expectations for a hotel breakfast. The staff was uplifting and engaging. That made the breakfast even better. The bed was harder that I like, but that is expected at a hotel as well.

The lids for the coffee were too small, so they didn't fit. Easy fix. The pool was very cold...surprisingly cold for a early August stay.
