Craddock Terry Hotel, Lynchburg, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

I love everything about this hotel. We live within an hours drive and periodically stay for a quick getaway and have never been disappointed in any way. The rooms are beautiful, clean and the beds are to die for! There is something about their bed linens that makes you want to stay in bed!!! The only disappointment this trip was that Shoemakers was closed and we didn't get to eat there but that had nothing to do with the hotel. I LOVE THE CRADDOCK TERRY!!

I didn't like that I failed to allow enough time to shop in the gift area (gorgeous items!) but that is on me, not the hotel.

I love this amazing old factory turned boutique hotel. the rooms are spacious but cozy and the architectural details are a visual pleasure. the big windows, exposed beams, and brick arches make it a unique experience.

there isn’t one thing I didn’t like!

The hotel is beautiful! I loved the details. From the shoes on the doors to the wine bar in the lobby and everything in between. They thought of everything! The bed was sooo comfortable, the room and bathroom were huge. The staff were friendly and attentive and the location was perfect. We even had a chance to meet "Penny Loafer", cutest pup ever! Close to trails to walk by the river. Fall is the perfect time to go. We were there for CFAW at Liberty University. It only took about 8 minutes to get there from the hotel. The Craddock Terry Hotel is my new favorite place. I will absolutely go again!

That I couldn't stay longer!

The breakfast was wonderful, and the bed WAS SO COMFY. It was so nice, and the bathtub was enormous.

My only criticism was in the bathroom there was a humming in the air that sounded like I had tinnitus, but my partner heard it too. Also, the bed box injured me multiple times! Small complaints.

We had a cozy, luxurious stay. Atmosphere was elegant but fun because it is an old shoe factory restored to a well appointed boutique hotel. Lots of clever touches. Comfortable couch, chair and king bed make for a relaxing space. Elegant shower and vanity area complete our large accommodations. The finishing touch was breakfast delivered at our door in a shoeshine box. We loved our stay and will definitely return again.

There was nothing that was negative about the stay

Love this place! Great theming, the rooms are big and spacious and airy. The beds are fantastic and the huge tile shower is my favorite. This time I also ate at the pizza place, delightful and great outdoor seating.

The ice machine is still broken and I walked all over the hotel looking for the other machine!

Comfort, location, intimate setting / small hotel feel.

Unloading and parking. I didn't see any bell service and did take my bags in myself. Left them on the sidewalk while I parked up arrival and departure, in order to properly park car and retrieve it upon departure. Wasn't a huge imposition but for the quality and comfort of everything else it does seem bell service would be offered.

We enjoyed the breakfast and loved the location. Our only caveat was that we were there on Sunday and nothing on Main Street was open.

The Waterstone restaurant could’ve been open for Sunday brunch. And as I said previously the shops on Main Street were all closed on Sunday

Smart, clean, comfortable, good location.

My room was downgraded on check in, hotel claimed they had no knowledge of my booking of a premium room. I did not receive a price reduction. Also, only one complementary breakfast per room irrespective of number of occupants!

The Craddock was exceptional, four stars all the way. Great staff, wonderful facilities, and incredibly large and comfortable bathroom.

There was really nothing that we didn't like!
