Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham

The room met expectations. Price was great. Location was great. Beds and pillows were comfy. Had to go down to the front desk at bedtime sp we could get sheets for the sleeper sofa as there were none in the room anywhere and there wasn't a blanket for it but we had brought our own. The only true complaint I would voice is the 'free breakfast' was very disappointing. There were few cereal choices as one item. They had a waffle maker but were pretty much out of the batter for it. They had a small refrigerator with some milk and yogurt in it. They had a few bananas and a couple apples. There was coffee and the fixings and a juice machine with apple and orange juice. That about sums it up!

The room was very clean. The breakfast was fresh. Parking was good. The thermostat kept the room at a steady temperature, more than the ones that just have that noisy fan by the window. The refrigerator, microwave, and kitchenette were exceptionally clean. There was an unusually large number of power and USB charging ports. The couch was comfortable. The view from the room looked directly at the Liberty University massive logo which lights up red at night, very interesting view. The TV had an amazing amount of channels.

My room was on the main road side so there was a lot of noise at night. The bed was pretty hard and only had a very light set of sheets on it. The TV was kinda small.

Really clean, spacious and comfortable room and bed. Bathroom great, especially shower. Check in was smooth despite there being an issue with having prepaid for stay with virtual credit card, but receptionist figured out the issue and was very helpful and efficient. Breakfast adequate for motel, nothing major expected. Only problem was a noisy couple of neighbours in room next door during the night. Called reception and they dealt with it by calling to room and asking them to keep quiet. Eventually they did. That wasn't hotel's fault. Couldn't fault it.

Very clean and well appointed room. Great location and fantastic value for the money. Thank you Steve for a smooth check-in and information regarding security at this location. I appreciate your patience and sincerity. There's no security cameras at this hotel's parking lot so if that's a concern for you park in front where your car can be seen.

Towels, toileteries and TP a bit on the worn and cheap but bed linens and bed comfort were perfectly fine

I am so very happy I got to stay at this Hotel in Lynchburg, VA. I went there for a Baby Shower for my Sister Alisha and her future husband Michael, and I was very well taken care of at this Hotel. Very spacious rooms that are Handicapped because my Mother accompanied me on this trip with my Sister -In-Law. We all enjoyed our stay. Very clean, friendly staff, and it had a continental breakfast that was very fresh with waffles you make yourself. Close Restaurants, and the Mall that has more to choose from to eat in or order out.

Doesn't have an indoor pool to swim in.

Breakfast was decent, hotel and rooms generally clean and pleasant. I would stay here again. Easy 4 min drive to Liberty.

Breakfast could have offered more protein options. Lobby smelled like bleach, which is good to know they are cleaning it, but a little over-strong! 3 night stay didn't have daily cleaning by default, but they did empty the trash in our room upon request.

The room was excellent. King room with an excellent layout and a good size, plenty of room to be comfortable. It had a partial room divider, a king bed on one side, couch with a wall light above on the other side. Very nice.

Continental breakfast was unremarkable, basic, and limited. coffee machine to select the type of coffee that you would like in a small cup. It was okay and hot.

The service was excellent, they were responsive to issues. The room was clean.

There were random clicking noises in the wall that were connected to the air conditioner but the staff did offer to move to another room, but by that time the clicking noise had stopped; however, the clicking returned the next day as well, but I didn't ask to be moved since it was the last night.

I've been coming to Lynchburg for years to visit. This was the BEST all around place to stay. I know where I will be coming from now on! The staff was so helpful and kind. Everything was clean, and they were constantly cleaning. My bed was so comfortable. I didn't want to get up in the mornings.

There were only starches available, and an apple at breakfast. I would have liked to have eggs; Or a banana with peanut butter??

Not many options; bagels were hard and chewy even when toasted; needed a few more options like pastries

Only complaint is that when we got there to check-in we couldn't find any employees to do our check-in so stood and waited and waited before anyone made an appearance. At checkout they didn't know how to take a cash payment.
