Holiday Inn Express Lynchburg, an IHG Hotel

Loved how close it was to the campus and restaurants. Loved that the entire staff was really friendly. I have never stayed anywhere where the maintenance, housekeeping, and breakfast staff were friendlier than the front desk! This hotel was exceptional at customer service. Room was well lit, AC went really low which was amazing, and the room was a good size and had a chair in addition to only being able to sit on the bed. Loved that they kept coffee, hot tea, and cookies out all day. I appreciated that they empty trash and give fresh towels if u are staying more than one night.

For how much it costs, I thought the breakfast could have been better. They didn't restock things much past 930 even tho breakfast went till 10. They cleaned up most of it by 945 even tho people were still coming down. I think for that price they should keep it well stocked and offer waffle makers or pancakes. I didn't like how tiny the bathroom was in the king room. It was hard to dress in there and u could barely close the door without having to squeeze in first. I didn't realize they come into your room of you are staying more than one night. I wish they had told me that upfront.

Breakfast was ok. I think our family was a little tired and not very hungry in the morning because of late night snacks. I liked that I could get a decaf hot tea in the lobby before bed at like 10:00pm. The oatmeal and coffee the next morning was good...that's what I had for breakfast :)

The price was a bit high. We used booking for the reservation and will book directly next time, to work directly with the hotel :)

Breakfast was good with healthy options. Not just pastry or doughnuts but omelets, pork and turkey sausage, fresh fruit, cereals, yogurt, oatmeal..etc.. excellent coffee.

Cable reception on some channels was a bit pixelated, but could've been due the weather.. The hostess at check-in and check-out was lovely and kind as was the rest of the staff. Would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family of Liberty University students.

Lighting on the side of the building where the smoking area is most certainly needs improvement. There was a person hiding in the trees at 1:00 in the morning.

Best continental breakfast by far!! Oatmeal, grits, sausage links, bacon, toast, muffins, bagels, danish's, cereal, cheese omelette, veggie omelette, Jimmy Dean breakfast biscuits, orange juice, apple juice, milk, lemonade, water and of course coffee.

Nothing honestly.

Was a nice hotel, staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good, I did expect a little more variety of food, but what they had was good. Everything was available to go, which was nice. The pool was small, but the water felt so good, nice, soft, and refreshing.

Kyle at the front desk was absolutely amazing! The sweet lady on the Housekeeping Staff that cleaned our room went above and beyond!

There was only one young lady on night duty that needed a little retraining on how to assist guests but other than that no complaints.

Large comfortable room. Breakfast was minimal, but tasty.

Our first look at the bathroom was not confidence inspiring. Cleaning staff had left a large cleaning rag in the toilet bowl. Wi-fi speed was good, but open wi-fi is criminally irresponsible! Secure your wi-fi so your guests' data isn't exposed to eavesdroppers. This is 2021, folks!

My stay there was really great. Reservations was through a third party that I eventually discovered during check in onsite. Clerk gave me card with direct contact information at front desk for future use.

I didn’t like the cost for a one night stay.
