check in associate was nice and welcoming

could not check in until 4. when I arrived at 2:00 to inquire about checking in early I stood at the at the desk for a good 2 minutes before I was acknowledged. I realize staff was discussing work, but a one second eye contact and hello would have been nice

The hotel was convenient to I 64, which I desired since I was attending a funeral in Portsmouth.. the bed was comfortable and the noise was very minor. Was not terribly pleased with the “bag breakfast “ but totally understand with Covid, however, a bagel with small container of cream cheese would be nice..

The room seemed to be clean, however, the floor was very sticky in between the beds..

The location was great

I found 2 pieces of someone's leftover blunts under the pull out couch and pieces of trash in the corners of the room which means the room wasn't vacuumed. There wasn't any sheets, blankets or pillows for the pullout couch. Also, I had to take my dirty towels down to the check in desk for new ones to be replenished. When I asked for an extra pillow for the pullout couch I was told that the room came with 5 pillows and I couldn't get an extra pillow! On our 2nd night of our 4 night stay there was a family with quite a few children that were running up and down the hallway screaming and making a lot of noise at 10:30-10:45:at night and it was very annoying as my daughter was trying to put her 4 month old son to sleep!

My family and I stayed here for four days. There was moderate wear and tear on some things. But it wasn't something to cause a fuss over. Our rooms were cleaned, came with all the amenities even a microwave! Breakfast was good and filled us up for the day. Walking distance to Water Country USA and Target. Minutes away (drive wise) from Busch Gardens and other activities around the city. We enjoyed ourselves. The staff were awesome and my kids and I are planning our trip for next year. Thank you ❤️.

My daughter's door had water damage at the bottom. But it was still secure and didn't cause any trouble. Breakfast suggestion may you add yogurt?

I know a lot of ppl complain about it but it’s just getting old, need tlc

I liked that the property had a pool. After our arrival we didn't have time for any of the local attractions so we hung out at the pool the first day. I also liked that they had free breakfast included. It saved us time and effort in the morning and the hassle of looking for a place to eat in the morning.

I didn't like that the pool was a little dirty (someone needed to clean the bugs and other junk out of the pool better). I also didn't like the fact that I didn't see any large trash cans around to throw away my pizza boxes. We had pizza on our second night there and had to leave the empty boxes on the desk the whole time because we couldn't find a place to put them and didn't want to sit them in the hallway and make a mess of the hall.

This was an affordable and comfortable stay. BF and I took an overnight trip to Williamsburg so we could plan to spend the day at Busch Gardens. Check in was easy. Room was comfy and clean. Bathroom stocked and clean. We spent a few minutes in thr pool, which was nice enough. I'm not typically a fan of breakfast, but there was a decent variety of items to choose from.

There was definitely a musty odor in the hallways and elevators. I don't drink coffee, but there were coffee packets in the room, but no coffee maker. While there was a decent variety of breakfast items, the quality certainly wasn't anytime to write home about.

I loved the location! We wanted to be close to Busch Gardens and I think the hotel as less than a 10 minute drive away. I was also surprised with how decent the complimentary breakfast was. I also liked the staff at the front desk. The gentleman at the time of check in was very observant. He noticed I had small children with me and brought up linen for them before I could make it downstairs to ask for them. I will definitely stay here from now on when I make my annual trip up.

The bathroom was a lot smaller than I expected, but it served its purpose to use the restroom and shower. There's also a pool outside, but it was drained out (maybe for repairs or renovation). The air conditioner was also a little finicky and our room got pretty hot in the middle of the night.

The room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. I asked for more coffee since I would be awake all night and received plenty of extra packs. I chose this hotel for the big tv! IT guy was really nice and he tried everything he could to help.

The big flat screen tv could not play any of my saved video files! After calling IT support, switching remotes three times, and getting new batteries, we managed to get my Roku set up and working. The internet was ok. Good thing I had a back up plan and watched another series, still pretty disappointed. I couldn't even screen cast from my phone to my roku.
