Emily at the front desk was welcoming and helpful. Our (twin) room was definitely furnished in an older style but we knew that when we booked and found it quaint. It had a small fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. The beds were very comfortable and it was lovely to have additional woollen blankets in the cupboard and the option of electric blankets which we used to make the beds toasty and then switched off. There was a reverse cycle A/C if needed and a throw on each bed which we used as shawls when sitting on our little balcony in the crisp morning air enjoying a morning coffee. The easy to use Venetian blinds allowed us to have good control over the amount of light in the room. The balcony looked out over a pleasant green view, breathing in the wonderfully fragrant air and listening to birdsong. The bathroom had a shower, and soap & conditioner dispensers with extra tissues and toilet tissue. . It also had overhead heating lights which really made a difference in the chilly weather. There was lots of available parking. The wifi worked well.

It would have been useful to have more crockery and kitchen utensils. Particularly as the property does not have catering and is far from any restaurants or cafes (which was a lovely tranquil experience, but meant that we had hoped to be able to cook a basic dinner and breakfast). We were travelling back to Sydney from a few days in Canberra and had our own food with us. There was nothing in which to make a salad and although there was a hot plate in the cupboard, there were no pots or pans for boiling an egg or making an omelet. It would also be helpful to have a tv guide so guests can easily locate the tv channels instead of flicking through the copious number of blank channels trying to find the working channels. However, once you found a channel, the tv reception and sound were good.

The spa was excellent. The bed was soft and comfortable. There were plenty of plates, cups, etc which was very handy. Overall a lovely room. Bathroom was clean, big and bright. The grounds outside were beautiful with gardens, a gazebo and swimming pool, tennis courts and golf course.

The lounge was ok but I think there may have been spring issues as it sunk dramatically in the middle. And there was some mould on the ceiling. We weren't sure if the driveway was 2-ways or not as the arrows were worn away, but all good.

Lovely welcoming receptionist. The rooms are very well equipped and have everything you need - toiletries, tissues, hairdryer, and in the kitchenette crockery, cutlery, a fridge, microwave, grill.......... We weren't expecting such facilities for the price. Everything clean.

Yes, as other reviews, the property is older and could do with a bit of an uplift, but it is good value and very well equipped. The single beds were a bit soft but that is a matter of personal preference. One towel each is fine for 1 night - we would probably have asked for more if we'd been staying longer.

clean comfortable room bathroom and sitting area, small balcony overlooking golf course, Lovely clean bedding with heated blanket and good reverse air unit in the apartment. nice views over the golf course. Helpful reception staff, Laundry for guests use, plenty of free parking, A 15 minute walk int0 the centre of Bowral or train station.

The apartment was slightly dated, however it was clean and comfortable and very quiet, except for several nights when the person next door snored very loudly all night. The soundproofing was adequate unless their was a very noisy sleeper next door.

Very polite and friendly operators of the Lodge. Our accommodation was older but very clean. Had plenty soaps, shampoo, tissues. Electric blanket for colder weather. Coffee, tea, biscuit pack supplied. A small electric hotplate that could be plugged in to do some basic cooking. Plates and bowls provided. The operators assisted us with a spare mobile phone charger when we had issues with our own.

Value for money and compared to other nearby accommodation the Lodge was fine... nothing that we could say we didnt like .... it was suitable for our purpose.

The lady in the office was sweet and helpful. Prices everywhere were huge due to it being Mothers Day weekend, which is really rough. This motel is pretty low-grade for the price ($150 per night) but it's our second time here and it was the cheapest in town, so we figured that at least it is clean and comfy. The towels were so thin, but the bathroom was nice, as was the room, so it met our expectations and we had a great night's sleep.

Only that the towels were very thin for a motel. The GPS has it wrong so it sends you on a wild goose chase to find it! Of course, the motel isn't to blame. I just thought it was worth a mention!

Clean basic motel. We enjoyed our 7 nights Upstairs so great view of surrounding reserve. Location out of town..you do need a car. Wonderful reserve bush walk at end of road. Serviced daily though missed twice and ran out of coffee....minor problem .

Dog next door barking at 5am and often in night . When motel filled up there was a strong sewerage/sulphur smell from bathroom. Pool wasn't cleaned until the motel filled up at the end of our stay....bird droppings in it (but must be hard to keep birds out! ) Couldn't get any picture on freeview movie channel unlike other motels we had stayed in.

The 1st The family room we stayed in for week 1 was big. The following week 2 it was slightly smaller.

The pool was closed for winter but yet it was the beginning of spring. It would be nice if it was open. The picture on their Web sight looks so good. It's a pitty they didn't have the resources to maintain it.

The room was quite spacious with a small kitchenette and a lovely 2 seater lounge and a small table to eat at also. The bed was very comfortable and the room was surprisingly warm given the overnight temperature of 1Celsius. There was a small outside balcony overlooking a garden and the golf course. A magpie stood on the balcony rail and song his greeting!

The kitchenette needed additional items to be functional for an overnight stay which I relayed to the owner next day.
