Room was recently renovated to a high standard with lovely linen. plenty of storage The bedroom was spacious with a large ensuite. Coffee and tea included with real milk. Bar and restaurant downstairs provided good pub fare in a pleasant country pub ambiance including a wood fire

Checking in was a bit haphazard. There was no soap in our room. TV remote did not work properly. A blessing really as we turned it off and did other things. Design of the shower over bath was not friendly and felt hazardous getting out when everything was wet and slippery. Would not recommend for anyone with ambulatory issues or physical difficulties.

Good quality food in the Hotel. Clean, quiet accommodation which was great for our unexpected overnight stop. - room has jug and coffee machine which was great but no other self-catering facilities. Location good.

The bed rolled all over the room. No bedhead on the bed so couldn't sit up without it pushing off from the wall! Yes odd comment but I needed to sleep sitting up! Tiled floors allowed it to slip and slide. Bathroom has an automatic sensor light which is great, but it is right in the doorway and comes on before you can shut the bathroom door - annoying for light sleepers. And the shower is a fixed overhead one (and no shower cap provided) a pain for those who don't like getting wet hair every time they shower.

The spacious room had been recently refurbished and was very much to our liking. (Note: we were upgraded, according to the hotel, but the room we had originally booked also looked upgraded in online photos.) Very comfortable bed, good bathroom (although a bit lacking in horizontal surfaces for unpacking toiletries). Fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. No breakfast available but there are plenty of good cafes very close by.

There was a lack of transparency about credit card fees in the booking process. Also, the rooms could be better soundproofed - the TV and conversations in the room next door could be heard too much. No decaffeinated coffee available - we told reception this was an oversight. Access was via a narrow staircase from the carpark - not a problem for us but could be for anyone with mobility issues (however, the rooms we actually booked were ground level in a different building, so that is an option for the mobility-challenged).

The location was perfect for a visit to Bowral with everything in a short walking distance from the accommodation. Parking was right outside our room and ideal because parking in Bowral can be hard to find. The room was fairly small but very clean and modern. Our room had a large bathroom and a hot shower with good pressure. Our room also had a fridge, coffee and tea making with a kettle and coffee pod machine. Good quality large towels are provided and linen was all clean. This is ideal for a short stay in Bowral and we would stay here again.

The parking road surface outside the room is loose stones and when cars drive over them (especially late at night) it can be quite noisy. We also could hear some noise from people in adjoining rooms late at night (they were quite loud).

What a gem. Surprising to find such an excellently fitted out hotel room at the back of a local pub. The bathroom is spacious and lots of fresh fluffy towels, the bed is super comfy, there are blackout blinds, a smart TV that actually works. My only disappointment was the fridge wasn't very cold. Overall it is a sensational little hotel room and we will be back!

Fridge was crappy! Had to go to the front bar to get the room keys as there is no reception area!

Quirky converted stables set back from the pub. The room was small but perfect for an overnight stay. Bed was super comfy and the bathroom was clean with a great shower.

The wooden floor was dusty, not sure if the door had been left open and dust from the gravel driveway had blown in. I was a little disappointed that I couldn’t cast to the tv, I thought this was standard in rooms now.

Great location, spacious bathroom and very comfy beds!

The grout in the shower needed a good scrub. A significant build up of scum. The heating was too good and I couldn’t get the aircon to a comfortable sleeping temperature. Room was really hot ( freezing outside!).

The newly renovated room was comfortable, clean and modern. It was quiet and extremely accessible to town. Lots of great restaurants and coffee shops nearby as well as Woolworths across the street. The pub itself had decent meals as well.

The bar fridge was not working properly and was not that cold.

Room was excellent - clean, good facilities. Very comfortable and certainly of a standard way above what you would expect in a regional pub. Staff we helpful and everything was thought of - well done.

Only very small pieces of feedback - no iron or ironing board in the room (had to ask a few times but got one eventually); there was a light globe flickering in the main ceiling light.

Location was great. In walking distance of the Don Bradman Cricket Museum as well as heaps of shops and cafes. Hot water in shower took a while but, both the temperature and the pressure were wonderful. Coffee machine and electric jug are both great.

We need a box of tissues in the bathroom please. Paper serviettes or paper towels to wipe up would be a good idea too. Glad Woolworths was close by as I ended up using all my tissues. I had dinner at the restaurant and my barramundi was nicely cooked. But I was disappointed after paying $28.00 with having to remove the seeds from the lemon wedge. The vegetables and mashed potatoes that were on the menu with the barramundi, came as sauteed chat potatoes and broccolini. Next time I'll ask what vegetables are served with it.
