Summerhill Motor Inn

We were upgraded to the king room with water views, free of charge. The gentleman running this accommodation was super friendly, polite and obliging. The ceiling fan was very pleasant and the room was spotless. The bed was large and comfy. We were within walking distance to all shops and cafes. There was adequate parking too.

The decor seemed dated and we had to climb 3 flights of stairs to get to the premium room. Request a ground floor room if you have mobility issues. I understand that it is peak season but we still thought the price was a bit high for what it was. I would also have liked a disposable shower cap and fresh milk to have with a cup of tea would have been a nice touch, given the price.

Check-in was contactless, I booked online and received a text on the day of check-in informing me of the room number and that the key was inside. The room was recently renovated, comfy bed, excellent ensuite (rain shower head, excellent lighting, awesome amenities). Plenty of parking, great views, walking distance to town/restaurants/clubs/cinema.

A longer stay would have been nice but work needed me back.

Exceptionally clean room. Staff REALLY friendly and helpful. There was a bottle of sparkling wine on arrival for new year - such a lovely touch, made me feel very welcome. Great location for someone travelling alone, you can walk around town very easily from the motel. Very quiet, other guests seemed respectful. Easy parking. Great!

I was expecting a fuller kitchen, be aware there is only a microwave so cooking is very limited. I was lucky to be on the ground floor, no lift so be aware if you have heavy luggage. I wish there had been a bath tub. There need to be more hooks for wet towels and swim wear, an easy fix! The cloths for washing up were removed so I had to use bathroom towels, this was not great!!

Exceptionally clean room, comfortable bed, easy check-in. Great location within a 5 minute walk to many different restaurants. We were there on a monday night and most restaurants were closed , however, there was a very good indian restaurant close by that was open on Mondays and closed tuesdays. Parking is free, onsite and close to motel room.

The check in person (Alan) was super friendly and helpful in providing local information. He also gave us a free upgrade to a larger room with a renovated bathroom. Bed was large and comfortable and the room was quiet on the night we stayed. Easy short walk into main street/ Woolworths/ restaurants etc

Decor a little dated (as are most of the hotels in Merimbula) but in line with the price / rating / area.

We booked a Deluxe King Room but were upgraded to an Executive King Spa Room. Room was huge. We had a private deck with table and chairs and two sun lounges. Bathroom was very big with lots of bench space. Kitchen also had plenty of bench space. TV was very big and we also had Netflix which was great. Bed was very comfortable. Also great location.

Rooms very spacious, clean and comfortable. Could have based myself here for a week. Efficient non contact check in. Walking distance to main centre , supermarket and places to eat. Free wifi and Netflix- pleasant surprise! Excellent value for money.

Absolutely nothing to complain about. We are very fit/ mobile. So just a caution for those booking. Be aware there are different levels so book according to your ability to go up/ down stairs.

Recently renovated motel, both the kitchen and bathroom in our room had been renovated. The bathroom in particular was spacious and renovated to a high standard It was spotlessly clean and parking was very easy. The location is very good, both central and close to shops and restaurants The receptionist / owner was very friendly.

Good sized room, nicely fitted out and in very good condition. very comfortable bed and pillows. Liked having a ceiling fan . Outstanding bathroom, plenty of vanity bench space, obviously recently renovated but done really well. Useful location, within easy walking distance of town centre.

- Excellent location: Close to Woolworths, great cafes and restaurants - Easy check in: Due to the increase in COVID numbers we used self check in - Large comfy bed and pillows - Big TV, fast Internet, free Netflix - Kitchenette: mini fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, plates/bowls etc & cutlery - Nice clean bathroom - Was given a bottle and some chocolates on arrival. Thought it was a lovely gesture and a nice touch :)
