The best location. 2 mins from the beach and restaurants. It's great to be able to have a swim at the beach, then in the pool, then into the hot spa. Lovely hosts. When the cleaners accidentally took our kids silk pillowcases, we were reimbursed the cost of them without question. Fantastic spot to watch the sunrise, which I did nearly every morning. The free parking was excellent. 30 mins from all the theme parks. I really don't think you could find a better location in Surfers. Aside from the wifi, I thoroughly recommend.

The wifi was poor, which with teenagers on holidays was not good. It wasn't strong enough to run the Chromecast either - nighttime movies are a must for us after busy days. The iron and dishwasher didn't work well, and the dryer was full of sand and shells. The main shower itself was pretty poor, hardly any pressure at all. Only little things (aside from the wifi) that really didn't impact our stay to much.

The view is perfect sitting out on the balcony. The apartment was spacious.

The building had a power blackout for over 6 hours. After coming back from a late lunch & having to walk up 12 flights of stairs with groceries, ( & no cold fridge) then realizing later on we would be needing candles as it was getting dark. Another trip to the shops to buy candles & back up 12 flights of stairs again. Not what we had in mind on our first day of check in. The staff were very good & kept us informed of updates of what was happening & time frames etc...

Stayed here before. There is nothing to not like about Surf Regency. Everything is a stones throw away. Main part of Surfers Paradise. The ocean view, the street view. Great apartment. 2 bedrooms, we only needed the one but it was nice having the extra space. The living room was nice and open with the kitchen. Views from every room, balconies from every room. Great outlook all round. The shower had good pressure. Bathrooms are nice. Ensuite in main room and another extra large bathroom with shower, washing machine and toilet. Aircon worked beautifully to keep us warm through the nights. Love sitting on the front balcony watching the world go by.

Could have been a little cleaner and just a little update as far as painting and maintenance goes, but otherwise, beautiful, no complaints.

The view - exceptional, we had a beach and sea view. Facilities in the apartment - very functional and lots of space. Quality of facilities in the apartment - eg, the bathrooms, kitchen area, windows - very tired, old, and in need of repair and replacement although still working. The pool - excellent area and the spa was excellent too. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location - perfect.

The facilities are in need of repair or replacement as above. The location totally made up for the tiredness of facilities.

The location was close to the beach our conference facility and shops and tram. There was a washing machine and drier balcony overlooking a sea view lots of room Air-conditioning of course and a kitchen with small standard fridge cook top and oven microwave and all of the usual plates etc that you need. Beautiful tables and chairs comphy leather lounge. Bed was firm but had a mattress topper. Large curtains to draw at night. Staff very attentive but these are not serviced apartments. I like that no-one bothers you to clean the room. Plenty of cupboards for a longer stay if needed. Car park in the basement included which was awesome. Not sure where you would put you car otherwise. Swimming pool and spar not busy with people.

Nothing really but things to note if your booking The weather ( not their fault). Windy showery and cool for February. Could have used a complementary umbrella to be picked up and returned to the foyer. We bought one from nearby store so not a deal breaker. Not by any means dirty but also not sparkling clean Also not a deal breaker. Take your own beach towel if you don't want to pay a small hire charge.

we had a great holiday. our room was just what we needed.

I would have like to be supplied with more towels through out stay or at start of stay as we stayed for 7nights. Reception were helpful and gave me 2 more on request. Also only provided 1 toilet roll for 7 nights. The bathroom was functional and cleanish, the shower curtain was worn and slightly mounded down around the edges. Found the oven also wasn’t clean.

We love the location! It's just far enough away from the centre of Surfers Paradise, but still close enough for shopping needs. Always clean and presentable, the views are amazing, even though there is a building in front blocking some of the views on the lower floors 😀 Management has always been friendly and helpful. My partner this time left a suit behind, and the management waited till we got back to get it. And if we could have taken the lounge that was in the room home with us, we would have tried 😂 Always look forward to be able to stay at the Surf Regency.

Not that this is an issue, because it really isn't and I know that nothing much can be done about it, when i have a shower there, i only turn on the hot water as it isnt that hot and the water pressure is a little weak, but again, I understand why. Other than that, all is good.

Convenience to the town centre

Old run down building and facilities. Noisey, car, and beach sounds kept us awake. The layout of the lounge room was poor. The sofa (bed?) was too big to be comfortable. The TV would not connect to WiFi and so not streaming services were available. Kitchen was poorly stocked with utensils etc.

Large open plan apartment with spectacular views. The interior has a very modern feel, in what is a very old exterior building facade and limited street appeal. The staff were great to deal with from the time of booking right through to check out and were happy to help when ever required. Check in/out was seamless.

The balcony is in much need of a renovation. The air conditioner outdoor unit was rusted through and falling apart. The outdoor unit drains through a grate in the centre of the balcony, therefore, if the air conditioning is on, the balcony gets extremely wet and becomes unusable. The balcony light has been removed, however all the wiring was left exposed and hanging in the air. There were no basic cleaning products to maintain the cleanliness over a few nights stay such as a surface (disinfectant, surface spray, chux cloth/wipes etc.

Excellent location, loved that we were looking out onto the beach, and being able to walk so easily to everywhere in Surfers Paradise. It was great having 2 balconies, as when it was too windy on the ocean side, we could use the other balcony which was better sheltered.

I would have liked it if some small bottles of shampoo/conditioner/body wash were supplied for our stay. There was only 1 oven tray, an extra couple of trays would have been helpful but apart from that the kitchen had everything we needed.
