Highfields Motel Toowoomba

The location was great for the Toowoomba Festival of Flowers, with 4 of the 5 exhibition gardens being in the Highfields area, plus Spring Bluff Railway Station, and was only 10 mins to the centre of Toowoomba. The on-site restaurant was very good, the staff were very friendly, a good pub not far away and a KFC next door for a quick dinner when you were too tired to bother with a sit-down meal.

For a 4 night stay, the room could have been bigger, but as it was described as a Small Queen Suite, it was what we booked. Should have booked for 6 nights, as there is so much going on in Toowoomba during the Festival.

The reception staff (Cheryl ) was very helpful, kind and welcoming. She even called to check on us when we got late for check in. She guided me thru the whole check in process and even escorted us to our room 10. She was very kind and offered a camp bed for my 9 year old son. There were some lemon trees just next to my room.....i picked one for my evening cocktail even without informing management 🫣🫣 didn't have to go to Coles

Being too close (10meters) to KFC......Was an unhealthy weekend with fried chicken every dinner😭😭 The swimming pool is too tiny!! Lily's restaurant had a very limited range of menu items......to be specific... they don't do grilled beef steaks The TV cannot connect to the internet, very limited options especially with kids..... unless i just couldn't figure out how to use the TV remote. The Internet connectivity (WiFi) is very weak, I asked Cheryl and all she said is that may be other guests are also using it so there was nothing she would do about it🙄🙄

The staff were absolutely fantastic! The communication was very prompt, all staff personel were polite and respectful. The room was clean, tidy and hygienic. The Room was well presented and had a nice set out for furniture to optimise maximum usage of space, without feeling crowded. The beds, sofa/lounge, linen, towels etc were all clean and well presented. We thoroughly enjoyed our little night out of the city and it was a pleasant stay for both ourselves, and our children. It will definately be somewhere were opt to visit again in the near future. Highly Recommend This Accommodation for For Families, couples and singles, of all ages! Friendly informative host . Upgraded to a 2 bedroom unit . Spacious , clean unit , comfortable beds

Very small basin in main lounge area which doubled for kitchen and bathroom. Electric jug too big to fill from tap in basin . Basin not very convenient to use after showering .

The staff were super friendly and very helpful. Lovely conversation and they were happy to assist with all of my requests. carpark spot had a high cover which accommodated height of my vehicle. The Restaurant food was very tasty and service was excellent.

Management were so friendly and helpful. The room was a lovely size, nicely decorated and very clean. The cleaning staff were also lovely. Convenient location in Highfields, close but not too close to the main centre of Toowoomba, a short 15 minute drive away. I would recommend this motel for business or family trips to the area. I had a wonderful stay.

With heaps of boutique shops nearby and shopping centers withing a short drive, Highfields Motel was genuinely one of the best stays I have had in a while. The staff were super helpful, everything was clean and comfortable and good value for money. You will need a car to get around best but would definitely stay again.

High ceilings, loads of power points for charging devices, lovely staff, quiet location, well kept room/motel.

I like to sleep with a window open but there was no security screen on the main window so had to make do with just the toilet window open.

The managers were really accompanying with all requests. they have a self serve coin operated laundry which is very convenient. the WIFI worked better with the roller door of the room service down, they were more than willing to leave that down during the day so I could get all my work done.

we stayed for 1 week ,expected and would have liked our room to be serviced daily >When clean towels were requested they were always supplied. We did consider as there wasn't a weekly reduced rate offered that our room would have the same attention as a single night stay
