very nice and quiet, just like the pictures. very close to lagoon. good value

first night the bed sheets in one of the beds were soiled and had possibly not been changed, strong odour. management did move us immediately to freshly clean room after we told them and stated it had never happened. check sheets prior to going in!

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Motel was in a central position to everything we needed. The rooms were small but extremely well set up. Lovely pool and outdoor. Just a really homey feel about the whole place.

There was an excessive amount of pillows and cushions on the bed. This was the only thing that I noticed that I thought a bit much. However I’m sure some people love all the extra comfort. So not really a complaint, just a personal preference.

The room was suitable clean and cozy, and as stated a quite room. We enjoyed our stay, sorry we did not take advantage of the pool and the breakfast, unfortunaltely we were already committed.

The room may have been just a tad small, but in the situation was quite suitable. The car parking at the rear was a bit of a worry as regards to security, and was difficult to see from the road in front of the school, There were no incidents.

stunningly clean. staff were so helpful and friendly. a lovely accessible room which I have to say is harder to find than you think. the room for accessibility is one of the better I have found. LOVED the aviary and aquarium. the decor inside and out was refreshingly unique.  A beautiful community atmosphere that is also very private. We also appreciated making use of the dining room facilities to have our meals at night.

This place has personality, plus!! The wallpaper & bedspread in the room that my son and I stayed in, reminded me of Venice, Italy. Decadent and Ornate. I absolutely LOVED the rescue birds’ aviary. Lulu the pink & grey galah was such a cute, inquisitive and sweet-natured creature. My son loved the sandpit styled play area, as well saying “wow” when he saw the very inviting (sparkling blue!) pool. And, the amazing aquarium style fishtank was so impressive, my son was thrilled to see many “nemo and dory” fish, as well as the other varieties of fish and the various types of live coral, so amazing! Very mesmerising! The grounds of the property are very well maintained. The feel of the mattress was very high quality/plush feel, very good for inducing deep, good quality sleep. I like that there was a security gate to get through to the main area of the boutique inn, helped me feel safe and that the facilities were private (for guests only). Thankyou very much for a (much-needed) Relaxing and Rejuvenating stay.

Only a very small detail, the fitted sheet had an unusual texture. I got used to it though. But very small thing, compared to the many, many positives about this accomodation. I would return for sure!

It was very comfortable & very clean very nice family owners. The wifi didnt work properly, but i think you had to sign in to an account & create, my daughter did not want to do this for privacy. Everything we asked upon our stay, they achieved. NO issues, except a door slamming into the kitchen area, which woke me up several times, this was other guests whom did this & had no respect for others guests staying, no fault of the owners

only the wifi to create an account to have it work. Parking is an issue out the front, but if you book to reserve a spot, all good

Beautifully designed garden and pool area, it was an unexpected delight. We loved the clean pool, tropical garden, bar area, pond, covered sitting area and aquarium. The bed was comfy and walk-in shower room spotless. Friendly owner provided a map and showed us local attractions. Lovely stay!

Nothing- wish we’d had longer and booked brekkie

Welcome at the reception, pets at the property and how nicely it has been maintained. Room had nice wall decorations, good looking furniture and all that's needed to make the stay comfortable. Property was 4 minutes drive away from the main beach of Yeppoon which has all the night life one can expect.

I was asked to park my car at the back of the property, which is out in the open. The access gate for pedestrians does have a camera pointed towards the car park but when it gets busy, like it happened with me, I had to park my car at the extreme end away from property and I doubt how much coverage that camera provides. I was bit anxious to see my car next morning. All we want to avoid some bugler messing with our car when we are on holidays.

The outdoor facilities were excellent, beautiful clean sand in a large covered sandpit, and the pool glistened! Lots of outdoor seating, fabulous lawned gardens. The aviary and aquarium were a real treat for the children. The dining room offered us the ability to easily prepare our meals. I will definitely stay there again.

Delightful little place that I thoroughly enjoyed staying at; I loved the pool in particular. It's located in a nice quiet suburban street so you won't have any trouble getting some sleep here! The drawback of this though is that you'll definitely need a car as it's too far too walk to the main street/esplanade.

Only some minor quibbles - the staff aren't often on site and I had to wait around for an hour or so to check in when I arrived (at 3PM); my room was nice and clean, but maybe a bit poky - plus a few of the meal/breakfast options weren't available at the time which was kind of annoying.
