Location close to shops and cafes

It was easy to check in, the room and beds were comfortable. For breakfast, you are given three options (we chose the loaf of bread with jam and butter, plus milk and three bottles of orange juice) which are delivered to your room by 6pm the same evening you check in. Generous large bottles of shampoo, shower gel and conditioner are supplied. We had no time to use the gym or sports facilities. The unit is next to the river which is good for evening walks but you gotta cross a busy road to get to the riverside.

Nothing to dislike

Location was fantastic! The apartment was beautiful! Bigger than I expected. It was very comfortable and the view! The staff were lovely and very accommodating and welcoming! Kids loved the indoor pool so even on a cool day was able to use this. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious and again, staff were fantastic!

The staircase was quite high! So getting the luggage up and down was hard, but I guess that’s the price you pay for the views you get! 😁 Maybe a doorbell or intercom to know if someone was at your door could be good, it was so hard to hear, had to use our phones to let someone know you were at their door! Haha!

Lovely modern room with quality fittings. Lounge/kitchen area quite spacious with large windows . Fabulous facilities and well maintained garden. When checking in noticed a $20 discount if you booked restaurant with reception. Glad we hadn't booked prior on line. Restaurant was delightful.

Unfortunately car park outside room was full and mostly with big 4 wheel drive vehicles. So had to cart luggage from a different car park area. A small free standing wardrobe appeared an afterthought in an otherwise lovely, though small bedroom. If it was built in, it would upgrade the bedroom to the rest of the quality accommodation. Was a bit noisy - apparently a large group also staying mid week so may not be so at other times.

The Hotel was lovely and the staff were exceptional. Pool area was great and the trampoline was good for the kids. The Spa was amazing!

The room was quite small, which is fine as we barely stayed inside. However the bathroom could use a bit more love. The door was cracked at the bottom and the bathmat looked quite worn out. There also was a towel issue , which is not to blame onto any staff, as they tried their best to accommodate everyone, more onto some guests who snatched up majority of the towels that then left a lot of guest without any pool towels.

The resort location was close the the place where l was facilitating a course for the weekend. The staff were friendly and courteous, checking in with me by phone to confirm my arrival time. They even offered me an upgrade which was unexpected, and appreciated. Unfortunately I was not able to make use of the other facilities due to tight times of the course that I was facilitating.

There was a limited range of teabags, only one flavour that didn't mix well with milk as I found out.

Just a lovely place! There isn’t a lot of places open for dinner, so it is nice to have the restaurant onsite and available each night.

The lux spa is actually quite expensive/unavailable - it would be great if there were times locked specifically for the resort guests (like 2 mornings through the week or just a day) and also a little cheaper; like how if you book at reception you get $20 off.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at the resort & enjoyed all the facilities provided. The pool temperature was perfect and our room was opposite for a quick swim and sitting outside on the terrace was relaxing. The bed & pillows were also comfortable and our room was very clean. Thank you to everyone for making our stay in Anglesea a success!

The toilet & shower in pool area was not tidy when we checked in early.

Originally looked for somewhere in Lorne on the way to the twelve Apostles but seen this place and ended up going to Lorne in the morning and returning back to Anglesea and I was right to. Staff are welcoming, the rooms are little homes away from home with floor to ceiling wrap round windows, decking with a table, comfortable beds, kitchen area, spa bath, pool, fancy restaurant and a trampoline park.

As it was winter the Deck bar/restaurant for the outdoor seating area was closed. The main restaurant is nice but after looking at the Deck menu I fancied a burger and found it closed. The main restaurant is a little bit too posh for me and the only thing I could eat was the steak which was delicious. The spa in the pool area is also too cold but I understand that's probably fed from the same pool heater so not possible to make it 38-40.

Great location in the centre of Anglesea within a few minutes’ walk of the beach and cafes, and right across from the river. I was pleasantly surprised that the property and facilities were even better than the photos, as this rarely happens! The room (spa suite) was thoughtfully decorated and cosy, not hotel-like, and we’d happily have stayed longer. A few stand outs - the crockery and glasses, art TV, styling of beds and other furniture, pod coffee machine (we didn’t use it but nice perk to have).

These are just small things but the indoor heated pool and spa were actually quite cold, and the pillows in the rooms weren’t comfortable (maybe personal preference).
