The property itself was amazing! It felt so homely, cosy and super private! I wish we could have stayed longer but we will be back 😊

There wasn’t much not to like, it was super clean and well maintained but the only thing that left a sour taste in our mouth was the lady at reception. We were hardly greeted with a hello, zero customer service and appeared to be to busy to be bothered explaining the Resort or area to us. It was the same when we checked out, we thanked her so much for having us and told her we loved our stay and she just looked away without saying anything as if she couldn’t care less. It’s not cheap staying here for the week so we found this extremely rude. Apart from that, the rest of the staff and bar staff where great! I think that lady needs a career shift as customer service does not suit her

The location of this hotel is excellent, just a short stroll to the shops, restaurants etc, a 10 minute drive to the river mouth and beach, and well located for sight seeing the multitude of attractions of the area. The hotel has ample parking, an onsite restaurant, swimming pool, tennis court and large grassed area for kids to play. Our suite had a kitchenette with stove, fridge and microwave, perfect for a longer stay. We have stayed here previously and would be more than happy to book here again. Recommend this hotel for a down south getaway.

There was no air conditioner in our bedroom (number pedestal1) and although a pedestal fan was provided, we found it a little too warm for sleeping. There is an air conditioner in the living area but when turned on, it didn't reach through to the bedroom. Also the top cupboards in the kitchen are a bit high to reach for someone who is not very tall.

Friendly staff. Close walk to the centre of town. Decent size room and bathroom. The fold out couch is a great. Two TV in the room. The huge comfortable bed. I like how the bar staff took my peanut allergy seriously. The shower head was amazing! The little kitchenette with utensils is a great idea to save money for a family or couple on a budget.

I didn't like receiving a wine glass full of fluff at the bar. Internet connection was very bad down behind the volleyball area. We has a disable shower chair in the bathroom but no handriles, good thing no one in the room was disabled otherwise we wouldn't be able to get up. No shelves in the shower area for shampoo ect, only a soap holder. No air-conditioning in the bedroom only one in living area, which is very out dated and didn't really work and yes, we read the instructions in the booklet. The lights shining through the top glazed glass of the door at night when we are trying to sleep.

Great location,very central to everything, decent sized room and very sound proof, the pub can get very loud in the evening and once your door is closed you can't hear a peep from your bedroom. the spa bath was amazing!

The parking, while convenient, Thursday night we went out for dinner and by the time we got back the entire private parking lot was full from people attending the pub, we could not find any spaces for our own car. had to wait until past 10pm when the band finished and people left to move our car closer to our room which was very frustrating at the time. Friday night we were afraid of the same issue so decided to walk instead to secure our parking space for the night. this was the only issue we experienced

Location great, walking distance to conference venue, skate park and coffee, not much further to town, staff friendly and helpful, super convenient having pub and bottle shop onsite. Very spacious villa, perfect for family of 4 but there was even a third double bed we didn’t use. Great having a full size kitchen. No one was using tennis court so kids enjoyed a little scooter ride. Lovely and green with well kept gardens.

If I was to book again I’d see if a villa was available further down the back to move away from the live music noise at night, but in saying that, we knew there would be this noise on booking and it didn’t affect us too much, was well and truly over by midnight.

Shower was big, clean, on one level, easy access for husband with mobility issues. Bed was great and we wish we could have brought it home with us! Resort was quieter than we expected which was great.

We think a microwave in rooms would be helpful but can understand why they aren’t provided. We didn’t eat at all at resort as we didn’t personally like the menu. Breakfast was challenging given Resort doesn’t serve so means going into town each morning given no kitchen facilities except kettle. Our room was advertised with DVD player but there wasn’t one in our accommodation. Also the pictures of room showed a high back chair (dining style chair) which would have been helpful for husband but wasn’t in room. Lounge suite was extremely uncomfortable and springs have totally gone in one chair and heading that way with sofa. You couldn’t sit for long in either. Carpet needs replacing; not just fading but ill fitted/stretched.

The room was very spacious and the spa bath was huge. It had a beautiful balcony that looked into the trees and was very private. It was clean.

Every thing was old.The carpets had bleach stains ,the kitchen cooktop was very old , the couch was uncomfortable and had a tear in the fabric. The main issue was my room was next door to the power plant and I could hear everytime it started up,especially early in the morning when it woke me. The curtain were just the block out part and you could see where the top layer had been torn off.

We had a villa no 9 for 5 people. It had 2 bedrooms and an additional bedroom in a mezzanine. The villa had an outdoor area with a big table. It had 1.5 bathrooms and a laundry. It was old-fashioned in style, but it suited the place and didn't have a cheap feeling . It was very clean and had great ambient lighting.The villa had a welcoming living area with an open kitchen. The beds were very comfortable and huge. Great place and very affordable for the price.

Everything was better than expected

The location is very central to all attractions in the region for the price - the room is basic with everything we need. Good bed, good wifi, kettle, toiletries and towel. There's also a coin operated washer/dryer in the property though we didn't use it. The restaurant downstairs serve really good food too, we ordered in for the last night dinner and it was good.

Car park can be full during the weekend nights from the restaurant'a patrons but more lots would become available after 8pm. There are some noise from the restaurant downstairs but it didn't bother us much and it quiets down alot by 9pm.

I loved how spacious our suite was. It had a huge hallway and you could shut off the sleeping area making it very quiet. The place was very clean. The spa was a lovely addition. The bed was massive and very comfortable and warm. I loved how close the accomodation was to town. So easy to walk there. The room was very warm due to a reverse cycle air con that works very well. A lovely stay!☺️

Couch had lost it's foam sturdiness and therefore we were basically sitting on the underpart of the frame when we watched a movie at night Exhaust fan in the bathroom wouldn't turn off
