Freshly renovated room on the 9th floor with a great city view. The room is modern and has a good style. The bed is comfortable (harder than average, which is a plus for me), the continental breakfast was tasty. Location between the downtown walking area and the castle hill is perfect, the hotel's own private parking area is also an advantage (€18 / night extra cost).

The floor tiles and the shower was slippery. I missed the towel dryers / hangers in the bathroom.

I had room 609 overlooking the parking lot with a view of the castle on the hill. Reception is on the same floor as the open air parking lot, but considered the “3rd” floor. Check in was quick and efficient. There is open air, parking for 18 euro; and there is underground secure parking for 22 euro. There are 3 elevators, so I never waited long for one. the room has A/C that was quiet and worked well, despite being “energy efficient”. The shower/tub combo was nice. water pressure was decent; towels were decent. Bed was very comfortable, as were the pillows. the room was quiet despite the street car traffic on the main road in front of the building. The location is ideal for walking into the city center or exploring the castle. Breakfast opens at 630am and was VERY good. the coffee was excellent and smooth. They have a lovely omelette station where they bring the food to your table so you don’t have to queue and wait. The staff at breakfast is attentive and helpful. All the staff spoke English well, so had no communication issues. I didn’t spend near enough time to fully explore the city, so I will return and will def try to stay here again.

I am always on the look out for hotels which cater in some ways to the motorcycle traveler. The location of this property would make it ideal for those folks, except for charging the full price of a parking stall when clearly the motorcycle can be parked in non-stall areas for a cheaper price, if not free. A small consideration, not likely a concern for most travelers.

Excellent location, between the castle and the center, you can reach everithing by foot within 10-20 minutes. Building is from the 70-80's, but looks good, feels modern. Super easy parking next to the hotel, but the fee is high. You may park on public places too for less/free. Staff was ok, check in is fast, they need your credit/debit card number during check-in as garantee, but they block nothing, payment at check-out. Nice interior, more restaurants inside. Room was nice, big one with view to the castle. Air conditioning was ok, easy to control. Breakfast was ok, could be better, more selection. Gluten and lactose-free things were offered. Altogether I belive that this is the best hotel to stay when you visit Brno.

Maybe the breakfast could be a bit more diverse, but this is the only complain :) Other thing was the TV, which had no reachable HDMI ports due to the decoration around it. We needed to play a bit to connect our laptop, so an external HDMI port would be nice next to the TV.

The room was nice and clean, the facilities were overall good, and the breakfast was tasty and varied enough. The hotel also arranged for us and our friends (in separate bookings) to have our rooms next to each other upon request. We had a very enjoyable stay!

The shower was not completely "covered" which meant we often got water on the floor - a shower curtain or fully covering "door" would have helped. The duvets were quite warm (we stayed during hot days in July). The pillows could also have been a bit more fluffy/sturdy, though this is probably a matter of personal taste.

Location is perfect for visiting the city centre. The hotel has the typical character of a business hotel, rather not for a long stay (it's not particularly cosy), but for a weekend or extended weekend super. There was a large selection of food at breakfast.

The only two things I can really complain about are: 1. The child's chair we received at breakfast time. The chair was dirty, we asked it to be cleaned, but after being washed by a member of staff it still wasn't very clean, we had to clean it ourselves. 2. The day after I left, I was charged for items from the minibar that we had allegedly eaten. After explaining the mistake (we didn't take anything from the minibar), the money was refunded. A fairly typical procedure, but it is a pity that the hotel didn't contact me before charging my card, but instead forced me to clarify the issue after the fact.

+ Room was decently-seized, the bed was really comfy. + Location is the best, close to everything in the city centre, Tourist Information is 2 min walk from the hotel. + Breakfast was great, various choices for omnivores and vegetarians, probably less options for vegans. + The staff was very friendly, check-in and check-out went fast and smoothly.

- Parking prices increased since the pandemic, as of Sep 2023, outdoor parking is ~18 euro/night, garage is ~22 euro/night (we couldn't even find the entrance to the garage, there is some construction ongoing next to the hotel).

Nicely equipped rooms with many interesting features, e.g. the glass between shower and bedroom that can be switched between clear and milky/frosted glass. Excellent bed incl pillows. Coffee maker etc. Great breakfast. Good location disctly at the entrance to the old center

The room had limited wardobe space. The whole hotel is a not well soundproofed - you do hear a lot from other rooms and the corridor. The egg counter at breakfast was a bit overloaded with orders and certain food (e.g. porridge) wasn't refilled. If your room looks nicely to the Spilberg Castle you also hear a lot from the tram line along. All in all nothing dramatic, but makes it a 9, not a 10.

Great variety @ breakfast. Location perfect, just 2-5 minutes from city centre attractions. Comfy bed. A large hotel with all amenities.

Our room was looking towards Husova street an the Spilberg castle hill - in the morning the noise of tramway woke me up. For more morning silence take a room looking to city centre. In the bathtub I found myself shutting off water flow repeatedly as the appliance is exactly where you're standing (behind the glass "door") Carpet floors - remind of times long gone. Mind you the above are small issues - overall our stay was very nice!

Our suite with king bed was on 9th floor with a view of Spilberk castle. I really liked the new decorated room and walking in shower. Our king bed and also the sofa bed, where our 4-year old slept, were super comfy. We have also enjoyed the breakfast. I really liked the decor of the breakfast area and the fact that it was really spacious and bright with an option to sit outside too. Food was really good and plenty of choice.

Lifts were quite small and narrow and when one was not working for a little while it took us a bit longer to get back to the room but it was not that bad.

Breakfast is good, standard. Restaurant is very spacious and therefore, made it less crowded. Room not too big, but we did not spend much time there during the day. Hotel is located few steps from Main square, which was very useful. Staff everywhere very friendly, reception lady was exceptionally kind. Small gift for the kid in the breakfast restaurant the first day.

When we arrived the room was very cold, reception told us it's because of the government restriction on energy usage. It was supposed to be 21, but it felt much colder. The following days it warmed up though. Both Friday and Saturday there were events in lobby area, which made it too crowded to use the lobby bar. The shower/bath drain was stuck, but maintenance reaction was impressively quick to react. Very few tv channels, we would have appreciated a kids tv channel, while travelling with kids.
