The place is very cozy, you can hang out at the cafe they have in front but also in the room there was like small sitting area with couch and 2 chairs. The stuff was super friendly and helpful. The location is very close to the main train station and also the center. There is lockers and a safe for each person, and also they let you leave your luggage before or after check-in. I felt safe and comfortable (had a only female 4 beds room)
I had a feeling that this space is not designed fully for a budget backpacker, for 2 reasons, kitchen was super small, if I am not wrong there was only microwave and hot water boiler, so if you want to cook for yourself, it was limited. Also bathrooms are near the cafe, and I guess you share them with the customers, and the sinks are very small and no space to put your stuff around, like hangers or shelves to put your toiletries. The bed was comfy but squiky, so whenever you move or the person next to you (all 4 beds are attached, I had a person next to me on the down bank) , you can hear it and feel it sometimes too.

The receptionists— Daniel and Thomas are the star of the show. They are super kind and accommodating. Coffee is by far the best I've had. There are plenty of toilets and showers in the hostel, which are all kept pristine. The property is a 2-minutes walk from Brno train station, 5 minutes from Tesco and a shopping centre.
Spa and massage is a separate business in the same building, which is deceiving in the booking platform. Some facilities need some TLC, especially the lightings. Assigned a bed but was not cleaned up to standards, however the problem was promptly resolved by the team. Although located in a strategic location, the surroundings are not particularly nice. Ie: the area is pretty sketchy past sundown.

The hostel is conveniently located near the city center and in walking distance from both the train- and bus station (5 minutes tops). The staff is friendly, super accommodating and helpful. The facilities are very clean, my room was comfortable, the locker was reasonably large (but might pose an issue for travelers with large luggage) and each bed is equipped with a small security safe. The common area has a very pleasant aesthetic. I only stayed for one night but it will be my go to place on future visits to the city.
There was nothing to dislike.

The room was elegant, spacious, clean and quiet. Even the showers are clean and spacious.. Absolutely pleasant stay at this hostel. The towels were provided. I like the sink in the room. Very very nice hostel and great stuff!
I didn't like 2 little details..., I was missing at least one hook where to hang a towel, sweater or coat. Personally I am not a fan of budha statues as it is a religious item. It was bothering me. I think it should not be incorporated into hostel/ hotel in the rooms for guests. Rooms should be kept neutral for guests.

To begin with lounge/café: it was decorated like an art gallery - there were literal paintings on the walls which you could buy and leave with (prices around €100). The coffee we were served was great and the cookies - even better. The hostel is situated right next to the city center - just across the street. There were 6 rooms total: 2 on the lower level and 4 on the upper level. The upper level corridor was decorated with real-life neons, and I mean neons-neons, not neon-lookalike LEDs. Those things are expensive today! There were 3 showers, so there was 1 shower per 2 rooms - that's pretty comfortable to me. There were also spare dishes should you need a bowl or a plate - nice extra! The bathrooms, just like our room, were decorated loft style - a table made of old doors, lamps taken from a ship, vents made of rain gutters, etc. I liked it really much. There was also a TV in our room with an O2 STB - it played Czech cable TV, there was also YouTube and SD slot - the last one didn't seem to work, though. The bed was really large and comfortable - we slept like the dead. The free parking was right around the corner, which was pretty convenient, too.

This stay was a spontaneous choice as I travelled from Bratislava to Prague, deciding to stop in Brno to split up the journey. Wake Up Wellness hostel looked good from the description and then exceeded my expectations as well. This is probably one of the comfiest and nicest hostels I've stayed in so far in the last 7 months. It's about 5 minutes from the train station and has a little quiet cafe on the ground floor that provides breakfast to guests for a minimal extra fee then coffee and baked goods throughout the rest of the day. I had to do a lot of laptop time while I was here and it was a perfect venue for that - its quiet, lots of plugs and wifi super reliable. So digital nomads - look out! Staff are really friendly and welcoming, the rooms are large with large, comfy beds. I was in an 6 bed dorm in a top bunk and had no problems at all. Each room had a chill area with sofas and a table. Each bed had a complimentary locker and towel provided. Nice service. If you want to get into town and see things its 10 minutes - 5 minutes past the station. Super easy and convenient. Would recommend, enjoyed my experience here!
The lockers provided were a little narrow so you couldn't fit a wide backpack or a case in it really so you had to just keep your stuff out on the floor. Not a problem for me but to be aware of. The beds themselves if you're in top bunk are quite high up and not the most stable, so if someone moves underneath you can feel it/hear squeak etc. Again, just to be aware of but didn't depreciate my experience here at all.

Very nice hostel next to the main train station in Brno. I only stayed one night in a 6-bed dorm room, so cannot give the best of reviews, but everything was good. The best are comfortable, you have a curtain for privacy, your own locker to store your things. Wifi works. And the location was perfect for me. Just 3 minutes walking from the main train station.
Make sure you close the window if your room is facing the main street. Was a bit loud in the morning and I did not notice that someone else opened the window.

The location and the staff are amazing. The hotel is very close to the train station. The staff was very kind and helpful. I strongly recommend this hostel if you go to Brno. Also it's like 5 minutes away for downtown.
The room we booked had a balcony to the central patio, and there is a construction site. The workers started at 8 am, so it was impossible to keep sleeping. Unfortunately, our room didn't have a wardrobe or closet where to put our clothes, we had to keep them in the bags.

Very nice, small hostel just by the main train station. Rooms were nice, lockers big and lockable (you don't need your own padlocks), beds had practical courtains and safes. The breakfasts were good. The staff was very kind and helpful.
The showers and toilets were outside the rooms (one toilet each for men and women and two showers were enough). It was so hot and stuffy at nights but we could not open the windows because of the noise outside (main intersection).

The hostel was really nice. It felt more like a hotel than a hostel because of the atmosphere and the beds. Each bed had a curtain, a lamp and an outlet which made it feel very luxurious.
In the room there was a booklet with information about breakfast and it said you could book a massage through the reception, but they don’t offer these anymore. That was a bit disappointing, especially the breakfast.
