Location, location, LOCATION. Fabulous location - short walk to Petit France tourist area and hotel surrounded by bars and restaurants. Easy walk to Cathedrale. I would stay again based on this. Easy walk from train station. Rooms were standard Ibis. Small and very little shelf or wardrobe space but adequate for 1 person. It was expensive for what it was but Strasbourg is expensive and staying at Kehl or Port du Rhin is almost same price and very boring (have tried that before) Just pay the money. You will be glad you did.

Nothing - I knew Ibis was very basic and expected a simple room. It was fine with excellent heating and hot water.

Breakfast is good enough. Cleaning of the rooms is satisfactory. The staff at reception is very polite and helpful. They do their best.

The only thing that I did not like about the hotel is the rudeness of the young lady at the breakfast area. She behaved extremely rude and harshly. We were afraid of even asking for a piece of bread when it was unavailable. Every thing made her upset and angry for some reason that we did not know about.

The staff were super friendly and helpful and gave us a lot of good recommendations and advice on what to see in the city. Breakfast was delicious and worth the price. They have parking on site which was a little tight but convenient.

Bathroom is a little old, we believe there wasn't proper ventilation in ours, also there aren't many amenities in the rooms such as tissues, conditioner, shower caps etc. The beds are narrow but comfortable but takes a little getting used to.

Staff were really friendly and helpful, always willing to help and multilingual too. Location was perfect for visiting Pont du Neuf and Barrage Vauban and also located in Petite France so nearby nice restaurants and all of the buildings with the old facades.

Breakfast was a little pricey for what it was (somewhere around 11 Euros - the buffet selection was Coffees/Teas, juice, rolls, cold cuts, cheeses, cereals, pastries, boiled eggs, crepes) but the pastries were delicious. I'd say you could get a better one at a nearby cafe for a similar price but it didn't bother us too much, and the breakfast staff were super helpful and friendly too.

The front desk personnel were very nice and kind. The hotel was very centrally located. Only a few minutes to the general train station and very close to the shops, bakeries etc. The breakfast is sufficient and not luxurious however the items on the buffet were always fresh and the coffee was good. I would recommend staying in this hotel, especially because of the nice staff they have both during the day time and the night time.

I had a problem with my room heating but it was fixed the next day. I don't know why but the front door of the hotel does not open by itself even in the day time so every time I had to ring a bell or knock on the door. I did not stay out late, I was back at 8 pm latest however there were some people standing around the hotel and I don't know doing what but they made me a bit uneasy to be honest and I even thought that perhaps thats the reason they keep the doors closed.

This hotel has excellent location - it is near the city centre, everything is is walking distance - monuments, many restaurants, shops. Rooms and beds are comfortable, staff is very kind and helpful. We enjoyed breakfast, there was rich choice of food.

It was a perfect and comfortable stay! Tasty breakfast, polite staff and comfortable cozy room. Perfect location from several minutes by feet of the city`s attractions. If you want to have a wonderful time in Strasbourg, you should stay in Ibis Strasbourg Centre Petite France.

Location was wonderful. The room was spacious and clean and quiet. Breakfast was quite good. Public transit was just across the street. The bed was one of the most comfortable we had in our travels.

We would have liked more counter space around the bathroom sink. This seems to be a common problem in Europe.

We needed a late check-in, which was no problem And it's so close to Petie France and the train station

When leaving your bags, it's based on trust as you have to store and collect them yourself so you could potentially just take anyone's

We liked the location of the room; very quiet. The staff were all nice and accommodating. Breakfast had a lot of choices. The hotel location was close to petite France and the train station.

We had no complaints.
