Location was absolutely perfect. It wasn't too long of a walk to get down to the water front. Dominos pizza was open for a bite to eat at 2 am when we had a very long day of flight delays. Beds and pillows were unbelievably comfortable. Staff were super nice. The lovely night shift lady was very accommodating. Showers were enjoyable with great shampoo and conditioner !

Cleanliness was questionable. First room was not clean (cat food on floor, counters sticky). 2nd room we were given was better but had a dirty towel hanging on back of door, dirty coffee pot with coffee pod still in it. It took me 8 full rinses to have chunks of old coffee stop coming out. I was happy to have my own cleaning wipes to make sure high touch areas were sanitized. The manager was great to deal with when I told her about our experience !

We had an excellent experience with Sam at the front desk. We were delayed due to a severe storm, and Sam was very helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. We had excellent service throughout our time at the Atlantica. The location was central, the room was bright and comfortable, and we appreciated the extra special touches!

While we had a great experience, we were disappointed that the pool was closed during our trip (which we were made aware of after we booked - we appreciated the heads up but had booked this hotel in part because of the pool). We look forward to visiting the pool on a future trip! There was also significant construction happening in the parking area while we visited; however, we were able to find a parking spot during our whole visit; it was just a bit concerning in terms of navigating two-way traffic and pylons/caution tape.

I got they and it was really late and when I got to my room there was a letter address to me and some sweets. The staff was amazing and I will return. When the water line started to leak in the parking garage. The staff call our room and info us of what was happening and we moved our vehicle.

We had to go to the front desk to get new towels and wash clothes after 2 days. I would love for the house keeping to come and check if the towels and wash clothes need to be replace.

The room was beautiful, big and comfy. There were robes available to lounge in during the stay and the toiletries were very nice. We ordered room service from the hotel restaurant "The Cannery" and it was delicious. Even though they were in the middle of switching the menu everything was great and a lot of options were available. It was a great location, about a 15 minute walk down to the waterfront and the downtown core where shopping and restaurants are. The route we took past the hospital also brought us right to the Public Gardens which were lovely to stroll through on the way.

Great location within one mile walking distance from waterfront and good bars and restaurants. Great staff. Wonderful restaurant and bar on site. Very comfortable room with fabulous view of nearby park and some of the city. Parking on site. Easy to find from highway.

TINY TINY elevator (and only one) from parking garage to lobby, you could hear the tv and other guests from the next room, there was some pubic-looking hair in the bathroom that definitely did not belong to us, and the final bill leaped from $226 to $295 with parking ($25) and I guess taxes. That seemed more of an increase that had been typical in the rest of our trip. Otherwise see above for all the pros.

Room was large, bed was comfortable, like that there were separate sitting areas, the den was a nice touch, TV had casting capabilities and the size of the TV, Iron and Iron board, bathrobes, ta and coffee machines and refrigerator was nice.

Rooms need to be more sound proof - could hear everyone in the hallway and next door. Difficult to block out the light, hotel should looking into magnetizing or add velcro to drapes to keep the light out. Buffet breakfast was not good - eggs tasted like rubber, no way those were real eggs. Parking was too expensive.

Location is great. Downtown Halifax was within walking distance. The room was beautiful and offered very comfortable bedding. Staff was extraordinarily polite and helpful. Dining in the Cannery made for a pleasant meal.

Hurricane Lee mucked up the high rise views. But, Atlantica was a great place to stay during the rainy, foggy weather.

it was very beautiful! my room was spotless and looked brand new. front desk was amazing and very helpful. very fast to bring any towels etc that we needed. Friendly staff and the restaurant was delicious

our vehicle was too big to find in the underground parking. So you have to park out front and it’s not guaranteed, but it cost $25 a night. Only about 6 trucks could fit but if you leave, your spot could be taken. But they were great to deal with and helped. the location isn’t great. the room was way too small.

Great view, comfortable bed and pillows. Room temp was also good. When addressed issues with the front desk, our room was changed immediately and very nice about the whole thing. We were given another room, it was spotless and had a great view.

When we went to our first room, we took our shoes off just inside the door, walked to the washroom, over to the window etc. and noticed what looked like cat fur on our socks.We don’t have pets at home. Also fur on the desk chair.Was wearing black so was glad I didn’t sit down before I looked.Went to phone the front desk but the phone did not work. The breakfast buffet was not great but have had breakfast when stayed previously that I ordered off the menu and it was very good.

Everything, the staff at the hotel was exceptional. They were friendly and helpful.

The reason for my stay is that my husband had to have surgery, we were not informed that the hotel offers a discount for people who have family members having medical treatment. I only found out about the discount when I had to extend my stay and did so at the front desk, directly at the hotel.
