Hilton Lac-Leamy

Everything was impeccable! The bed was sooo comfortable, the food service workers were on strike so the restaurant options were very limited but we didn't actually mind because what was offered was still amazing. The staff were really nice and really well styled.

While we don't blame those who were striking, we support them, it was just unfortunate that it happened during our stay. We were looking forward to the restaurant as we heard really good things.

Everything was clean classy and comfortable. The cleaning staff must be trained well and treated decently to do such a great job. The crew at the door and desk were the most helpful professional and pleasant group I have ever interacted with at any hotel stay over the past 30+ years. The breakfast buffet was way beyond expectation and enjoyed the atmosphere that the great staff ensured for all. Well done and appreciated after so many disappointing experiences at other establishments in my travels lately.

most of my stay was just perfect only a few observations check at 4 pm is quite late as check out is at 11 the pool area - no soap in the women’s showers on 2 occasions that I have stayed there in the last 3 months as well the kiddie pool was closed considering there were quite a lots of small children that should be functional for safely and hygiene of the pool other than that all was well 😊

The entire hotel is very ascetically pleasing from art work to all the decor. It is extremely clean and the staff are friendly and want to make one's stay as excellent as possible. The beds are very comfortable, one can easily control the room temperature and the view of the river is beautiful. The breakfast is delicious, as are all the meals served in the restaurant. The hotel is located close to local attractions such as the Museum of History.

Everything was great. Maybe some tea bags available in the room would be nice along with the coffee that was provided.

The customer service from all departments from the pool staff to room service to front desk to dining room were all so kind and wanted to do everything the could to make our stay great!

Not Hilton fault. Only following COVID-19 protocols. We could only have 1 hour in pool per stay but we were lucky to have 1 hour when we checked in and 1 hour outside & in the morning inside pool. My kids were thrilled. We booked just for the pool so we were all happy to have 2 hours. Also when I ordered special treats for the kids for arrival in the room they were not allowed to do so as cannot enter the room after housekeeping has cleaned and sealed it. All understandable. Hilton did a great job keeping everyone safe! Thank you!

The hotel is very glamorous with a nice grand hall and large rooms. The view on the lake and the city of Ottawa is magnificent. The swimming pools and sports equipments are really amazing even though we had limited access due to COVID. The room size was above expectations. The bathroom was huge and had the largest shower I ever saw in a hotel room. The beds are great and we slept really well. Location was great with free parking and 8 min drive to downtown Ottawa.

One night we started smelling cigarette smoke in the room. It turned out to be coming from the communicating door to the next room. After calling front desk they sent someone to the next room and told them to stop smoking. The hotel was understaffed. We sometimes had to wait 10-15 to talk to someone when calling front desk. We didn't use room service has the prices were too expensive.

Beautiful hotel. The design at the entrance is stunning. The setting and the view on lake Leamy is gorgeous. It is 10 minutes away from Parc de La Gatineau. We had a warm welcome from the staff at check in. Reservations for the swimming pool, there was availability on the same day as check in which was nice. The saltwater pool is nice. We were provided a pack and play for our baby to sleep in.

The room was spotless clean but there was a strange smell in some of the pillows as if the linens had not been dried enough and started smelling bad. There were enough pillows on the beds that we were able to find odourless ones.

The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Great location for walks around the lake. Nice service from the staff at the restaurant.

We had a problem with checking in because the front desk could not locate our booking.com reservation. It took 20 minutes for the problem to get sorted out.

I LOVED how the rooms were setup and the bathroom was GORGEOOUUS! We came with our dog and he was very comfortable as well which really matters to us as well. The outdoor pools and weight rooms were lovely. Staff was so sweet and nice

The text msgs we received from front desk were in french even after telling them we do not speak it. Nothing crazy at all but just something that couldve been changed :)

We always love everything. The Hilton Lac Lemay is our little paradise getaway. Park the car and don't leave until checkout. So much to do here that it's the perfect place to just getaway and relax. Go for a swim, relax in the hot tub, visit the casino, eat out at one of the many restaurants, or order room service and stay cozied up in bed. See you again soon!
