The staff went above and beyond for my family during our stay! My husband and 2 kids & I checked in happy & healthy with plans to get some school shopping done after check out the following day, however my daughter got a terrible fever just before bedtime. My husband asked the front desk for a late check out so that he could stay at the room & let her rest in bed while I shopped with my son & the front desk gentlemen went above and beyond, offering us the most generous checkout time at no additional fee. I was able to get our school shopping done while my baby girl got some much needed rest in a comfortable room! They did not have to give us this additional time, but it made a world of difference after traveling hours just to get this little bit done since our shopping is very limited where we live. The staff was so friendly, breakfast was incredible and the rooms were so clean and comfy! Will definitely return here for our future stays!

There was nothing we didn’t like

Many breakfast choices and well stocked. Good coffee and self-serve waffles. The staff was very courteous and went out of there way to make our stay great. 3 pillows on each bed is great too. The location is great for people watching and has a few nice restaurants within a short walk.

The bathroom was a bit small but useable and be careful there are no slow-close toilet seats. An elevator in the front of the building would be great as the stairs are a bit much for some people. The curtains were old and needed to be replaced (slightly ripped).

the pool area barely had anyone in it when we went to swim it was nice to be the only ones in the pool area. the room was cleaner than i expected.

breakfast was ok but only having salted butter doesnt make kids happy when its the only option for waffles, also having bacon on some days over sausage would go over well

Rooms were clean and quiet, breakfast was convenient and tasty. Workers were pleasant, helpful and friendly Great location, very close to a lot of activities we had planned. Positive experience.

Rooms were clean, but we stood for three nights and they were never cleaned or restocked. I had to got to the front desk to ask for coffee.

The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean. It was a great location for me...close to everything I wanted.

There was a beeping sound coming from the ice machine or the pop machine in the hallway. It must have started around 7 a.m. as it woke me up. Then it continued until I left at around 9:30. It seemed that a staff person would have realized it and made it stop.

good price and location.

the rooms fridge still have thing left in it before the people before. there wasn’t w much towels fro two people. The coffee pot didn’t have any coffee and the phone in the room didn’t work to call for service. also are keys kept not working. we had to get them activated three separate times.

Tiffani at the front desk was wonderful! Every staff member we encountered was kind and friendly. We would definitely stay here again. Great value for a decent room, and perfectly located.

It’s time to bring back a decent free breakfast! Stop using COVID as an excuse. Also, this hotel definitely could use some updates such as new carpeting and trim, new air conditioning units, and better-cleaned shower heads and showers. But we still would stay here again. We appreciated the employees’ friendliness and helpfulness, the bed was comfortable, the parking was right outside our room door, and it’s very conveniently located in Traverse City.

The motel was easy to find

The air freshener was beeping every 10 seconds that was located in the hall. The cold-water knob for the bathtub fell off in my hand when taking a shower. Both issues were addressed with the front desk upon my check out.

Close to downtown, the park on the bay. Restaurants. Beautiful area. Room was clean with very comfortable beds. Shower had great pressure. Refrigerator was clean and cold. Air conditioner worked great. Shout out to the amazing concierge Andrew at the front desk. He was the only one working and had to deal with a lot of customers all at once. He handled the pressure very professionally and proficiently. Great employee!

TV remote control was sticky and dirty. Bring your Lysol wipes. The bathroom sink was running slow, clogging.

As soon as we walked in it was very clean, the front desk person was very friendly and professional. The pool and hot tub was amazing and also open late.

The only complaint that I have was that the chlorine was very strong in the pool.
