My wife and I were celebrating our 65th Wedding Anniversary and on the actual day the hotel could not have done more for us.

We asked for the two rooms to be close together. They were in fact in separate buildings

noisy rooms sometimes you can hear the walking steps from the room next to you , expensive but I can understand because of the location.

Beautiful hotel. It felt very clean. I liked the design. Location was very nice. We had tried breakfast and dinner one day, and it was excellent.

I didn't like that I couldn't book one room for family of four (2 adults, 2 kids). It didn't seem that was an option. I was travelling with my mom, so I added myself to her room. But I ended up staying in same room with my husband and kids and it was spacious. I don't know why it wasn't able to accommodate when booking. The staff was helping to put the two rooms I booked close to each other, it was two different type of rooms so it wasn't able to be next to each other. After checking the map, she selected the room "closest" to our's. It ended up being on same floor level but complete opposite sides of the hotel.

Excellent location! The staff are very friendly. The beds are very comfortable.

couldn’t be in a better location. Central to everything in the old city, but out of the noise. the level of service was extraordinary! From the front desk, to the housekeeping staff, they made us feel cared for, and about. The breakfast service is nothing short of amazing with fresh pastries, and a world class coffee machine- one of the best “in hotel” breakfast experiences I have ever had. Would not hesitate to strongly recommend, and plan on staying there the next time we are in town!

it’s really hard to fault them, I guess if I had to come up with something, the rooms are on the small side, but you are in the center of an ancient city! Every thing is on the small side.

Nearly everything: the room, the location, the breakfast, the sympathy of the staff, the cleanness, the gym, and the safety. The breakfast of this hotel is strongly recommended. Among the staff, Mr. Cristiano was especially very kind.

Although the room had a central air-based heater, the room still remained cold, especially for a person of advanced age. The heater controller allowed us to increase the temperature up to 3 degrees Celsius with respect to some reference temperature (which was not displayed on the controller monitor), but this setting reset automatically after certain amount of time.

We didn’t eat breakfast but we ate in the Bar/restaurant on several occasions. We enjoyed what we ate and also the ambience of the venue. The food was hot, nicely presented and served quickly and efficiently.

Only two relatively minor things. One - the lighting in the room was quite poor. My reading lamp wasn’t working either. The combination of the ceiling beams and heavy drapes meant little natural light entering the room. There was no overhead light and floor lamps, bedside lights were dim. The other thing I did not like was the soap/shampoo dispensers. In the ladies loo I twice got soap over my top as the bottle pump seemed to be askew. In our room, I had difficulty in accessing the bottles as they were placed quite high on the wall. I prefer small individual bottles which are not attached to the wall to be available.

Checked in early, caused no problems for front of house staff, who greeted me with an enthusiastic welcome. My room was superb well equipped with a great coffee machine and most importantly, spotlessly clean. I stayed for four nights, each day housekeeping made up the room and provided fresh towels without request. On the third day of my stay, housekeeping knocked on the door and asked for feedback, making sure everything was just so. I liked this, it was a nice touch. Being in the heart of the City the hotel appeared to be quite busy but had a very relaxed feel about it. The bar in reception is reasonably priced for the city, and the staff were very friendly. All in all a superb hotel, communications are first class upon booking and any responses to request are answered very quickly. Would I recommend, most definitely!
