Even though the price was a little higher than what we normally pay, we did enjoy the environment. We had hoped to enjoy the beautiful lounge/bar area but we didn't have the extra time. The area has a wonderful feel to it and the interior of the room is very cozy - dark colors, feels "woodsy". Clean and comfy! You can walk to places to eat nearby or eat on the premises, you're in a good location. The toiletries smell so nice, just FYI.

You have to climb stairs to the second floor, no elevator. It's OK for me but important to know if that's an issue for you.

I love the design, lighting, drapes, paint colors, rug, furniture in the lounge and dinning room is modern, mid-century, and and atmosphere within the hotel was comfortable and fun! The owner did a fabulous job when thinking of family’s and adults space. Game room is a slam dunk! The food was superb, very impressed with the food offered. All around amazing job I’ll stay there again and would love to see their other hotels.

The only think I didn’t like is the bathroom fan in the rooms. It doesn’t pull the moisture out at all. You need to keep the door open when showering.

Very stylish and clean place. The rooms surround the pool/spa area and outdoor patio area which is visually pleasing. There is a place on site to buy food and drinks.

I didn’t enjoy the weird smell that the establishment sprayed all over the entrance, lobby, restaurant/bar area. It reminded me of how Abercrombie and Fitch used to spray cologne all over their stores. It was too powerful and I felt like they were trying too hard. Rooms did not have any smell though. Also, make sure you check your credit card statements so that you don’t get charged twice. I prepaid with booking.com and had to show proof in order for them to remove a second potential charge for the night.

It’s an old motel that has been very cutely renovated: comfortable beds, good bathroom amenities and coffee. The bar is terrific and great bar staff; games and delicious casual dinner from cafe/store. There is also a pool and hot tub which we didn’t use but looked good.

Waking up to a moronic, loud woman in room behind ours screaming and banging around at 1.45am about how her boyfriend ruined her hair. She went on and on. The noise came through the old fashioned air vent in bathroom, thunderous. Would have banged on her door except we were in middle of a snowstorm.

Everything. We spend our Christmas vacation at this property. We were extremely pleased. The game room was a great place to spend Christmas Day🎄 with the family, playing family games in our Christmas pajamas and making s’mores in the fire 🔥 pits. Other days we went skiing to Snowball, rode the Polar Xpress, visited Horshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon and the Grand Canyon. Also it is a very dog friendly hotel, we brought along our dogs as many other guest. We loved staying at the High Country Motor Lodge.

The overall feel and aesthetic of the hotel was amazing. Super cozy lounge and bar area. Fun games room with lots of games options. The room itself was average sized but the beds were extra comfortable.

Unfortunately we were there during a large snow storm so the walkways to the rooms were very slippery and covered with snow. Also, some of the common areas were cold, leading us to not want to sit and stay awhile. Also, we were told the sauna would cost an extra $90/hour for the four of us to use it, which I thought was a little high.

The location in Flagstaff is perfect. The lodge has a very nice and classic vibe to it. The rooms are basic but nice. The pool and common areas are very comfortable and great places to hang out - many guests enjoyed the gas fireplaces outside. The bar and restaurant area are cozy too. This place is perfect for runners/hikers/mountain bikers enjoying the trails around Flagstaff. We went on Labor Day weekend and things were busy but the place never felt too crowded. Laundry facility was a convenient feature as well.

In our room was a card specifying the lodge's policy of cleaning guest rooms on the third day of each stay. We also asked the front desk on that morning to make sure our room would be cleaned while we were out all day, but when we got back in the evening it still had not been cleaned. This was a bit disappointing given the hotel violated its own policy and our request, but I chalk it up to a busy weekend. It did not ruin our stay because everything else about it was great. Would definitely still stay there again.

We liked the amenities, the coffee in the room, the simplicity of everything, including being able to charge to the room. The beds were comfortable and the soaps were very nice.

I would like to see a selection of tea or an option other than chai, since I'm a tea drinker. But this is minor. I know the staff was hustling all night and it was busy. I think 1 more person to help out would have helped get folks what they needed sooner.

Beautiful remodel. Staff was very friendly. Beds were very comfortable. Great brand of shampoo/ conditioner/ body wash in the shower. Also, fantastic water pressure.

We could hear our neighbors like they were in the room with us and they were just talking at a normal volume. If you're bringing your own shower products there really isn't anywhere to sit them in the shower besides the floor. No drawers in the room for unpacking, but there are a few hangers.

The property itself was in a great location close to everything. Most of the staff was friendly.

Was not expecting staff to be on their phones behind the counter when I was directed to a virtual check in station. Seemed like we were interrupting them, but still relatively pleasant. Would’ve loved to have a tub available in the room for soaking after playing in the snow.
