Location suited us perfectly. Easy access from Orly via Orlyval then RER B to Denfert Rochereau for a 10 min walk via Rue Daguerre. Or G7 taxi from Airport! Amazing views from Montparnasse Tower 6-8 mins walk away. Use Gaîté Metro 5 mins away to access Metro system. Flea market 3 metro stops away Wide range of bistrot, bars and mid-range restaurants within 10 minutes walk. Staff very helpful and pleasant The internal courtyard was delightful as an option for breakfast or relaxation Clean towels daily and rooms beautifully made up too. Very quiet in immediate vicinity yet steps away from a busy main road and 2 lively roads. Rue Daguerre with multiple fresh fruit and veg outlets and eateries, Rue de la Gaîté 5-10 mins walk for lots of eatery choices. Highly recommended Le Cornichon 6 mins walk.

Charming staff, lovely hotel with a lovely relaxed and informal style. Lovely terrace garden with honesty bar in the evening. Breakfast delicious with a huge selection from which to choose. Also, loved the romantic history of the hotel.. we even went to the cemetery to see the last resting place of Jean Paul Sartre and Simone.

Wet room for shower meant that floor was very slippery after the shower, particularly when showering one after the other. Just a very small niggle.. not a concern, more of a small NB. 😀

Pleasant hotel with helpful and friendly staff. Great location. Small fridge in room and nice touches like free bottled water & hotel umbrellas for customer use. Rooms small but well appointed and comfortable. Many restaurants close by.

The tub/shower combination was terribly arranged, with the shower head aimed sideways across the narrow tub. The glass partition to keep the water inside was easily moved when bumped so it was impossible not to have the water pour out onto the floor. Getting into the high-sided tub was difficult and dangerous, especially with a soaking wet floor. We tried to be so careful when showering but could not keep the water from coming out onto the floor. It was not just a little water- it was like a flood. The design is unfunctional and dangerous.

The room was very comfortable and well maintained, and for Paris, a notoriously expensive city, we felt it was great value for money. The hotel was in a fantastic location - we loved the Montparnasse area a lot more than we thought we would (we were initially concerned that it was a little far out from Paris' main attractions but it was such a lovely area to stay in and the metro system is so well connected and easy to use that it was very quick to get anywhere we needed to.) As a group of three young women, we also felt incredibly safe, even when walking back to the hotel in the early hours of the morning, which was great. We'd definitely stay again!

Everything was great at the Hotel Mistral. They were prompt and courteous at the front desk, the room was clean and spacious enough for me (I'm a big guy) and I was able to use the shower with no problem. The breakfast had a lot of choices and was very delicious and the are kept clean. They even held our luggage for several hours the last day of our stay until we had to depart for the airport. Great place to stay!

The only downside was the bed was to firm for me, so I did not get the rest/sleep I had hoped for, but that is the case in most hotels.

This hotel is an absolute gem. The staff were amazing, particularly Anais was so helpful. The hotel is in a quieter part of Paris but still within comfortable walking distance to attractions like the Eiffel Tower. It’s also a very close 7 min walk to the main train station of Gare Montparnasse. I would absolutely stay here again.

The only downside was I booked a transfer from the airport and was charged 90 euro by the car company and had to pay an additional 15 euro cash to reception, so the transfer was 105euro total. I was later told by a regular visitor to Paris that taxi fares are usually only around 58euro, so we paid double!!!

Great experience. Nice room, not very big but very cosy, clean and quiet, also, looks exactly how is pictured. Daily housekeeping and regularly replenished amenities add to the hotel value. Staff was very friendly and always ready to help.

It is not located in the middle of Paris but time to the top sights is very reasonable. Metro station is in 3 min of walking from the hotel.

The location near the Gare Montparnasse was the main factor in selecting this hotel, plus its favorable ratings on the web sites. We easily walked to and from the train station, then to the RER station at Denfert-Rochereau the next day. We found plenty of restaurants in the Rue Daguerre and had a nice walk through Montparnasse in the afternoon.

The room was very tiny, and the bathroom even smaller.

Very nice option to have a double bed and single bed in one room, not easy to find in Paris. Also they provide a nice spread for breakfast including coffee, pastries, some warm foods, cheese, etc..

Biggest thing to consider is its location being south to many tourist spots and public transportation sometimes requiring indirect routes. It may work for some travelers, maybe not for others. About 30+min walk to the Louvre.

The hotel was awesome. Amazing help and good mood from all the stuff. It is located in a good place which is not crowded, it has good restaurants around and shops where you can by sweets/wine/champagne with the fair price. The room is very small, but that's exactly what you need when you are traveling as pair. Room design is same as on photos and it is simple but fancy.

Nothing important to line out. The only thing that was missing is information on how to get towels changed or how frequently they are changed. But room service changed them a couple of times. Also, I was asked to pay extra taxes (around 20 euro per week for two persons) on check-out. I had no time to figure what is it, but I believe that might be taxes for room service possibly.
