Perfect location to explore Lisbon, right on accessible metro connections (airport etc) and totally walkable to everything. The breakfast is not exceptional (coffee==so,so), but a couple of steps outside the hotel gives you more than ample choice for pasta del nata and coffee! There is a supermarket not far from the hotel and we had simple cooking options in the room (stove, fridge, kettle, microwave) yet, the restaurant options in this city make it difficult to justify any meals in the room. The building is impressive, we had great water pressure, great views from the room, and of course the terrace/pool is an absurdly beautiful bonus, but the family room is a bit tight on space (once the sofa bed comes down)! The concierge staff were very helpful and friendly.

The location is superb. Seconds away from the metro, a minute away from Rossio station, so arrival from Porto via train was painless and visiting Sintra was a doddle. The suite was of ample size for the four of us. The kitchen was a bit pokey, but it was good to have a fridge. The air con was OK, not great. Beds were very comfortable. Very quiet location despite being very central and we were overlooking the Plaça dos Restauradores. No noise from other rooms.

My only comment would be that it's dated, but as long as it's clean and comfy who cares?

Absolutely wonderful hotel. Great service, lovely people working there. Super open minded and chill environment. The location was just perfect. It was right next to all the touristic spots and next to the station. Very safe neighbourhood where you can walk even as a woman alone. There is also a nice pool for free open every day from 8am till 8pm on the rooftop with a incredible view of the city. Our rooms were being cleaned every day and the staff was just so friendly. Definitely a place where we will come back to.

Maybe the furniture to be a bit more modern. But for the rest absolutely a great place to stay.

We had an amazing stay at this location! We are a family of 4 with kids ages 8y and 11y and the apparent we stayed in had 2 big rooms, a kitchen ( that we did not use) and a bathroom. Really comfortable, bright and clean. We were provided toiletries, bath robes and towels for the pool and for the room. The beds were really comfortable. Everything is as advertised, and there were no surprises. The staff was great and helpful, and had no issues communicating in English with us. The rooftop pool, view, and bar are excellent! The location of the hotel is great, really close to all the restaurants, patios, and all historical sites. There is pay parking across the street, for about 25 euros per day.

The price of the property is on the high side, given that it is a bit outdated, but in the end we were really happy with our stay.

The location was very good. AC worked well as well. Bed was also very comfortable. The actual room was also better than how it looks from the pictures. So it was good.

The room had a kitchen and was supposed to be cleaned by the room cleaning service, and they dont provide a dishwasher tab or cleaning detergent for that reason. However, we put used dishes into the dishwasher but were not cleaned by room cleaning service. Also, facilities are generally very old, especially the sink in the bathroom, which was leaking all the time. There is room for improvement.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Chose this hotel due to the location and rooftop pool. The location is fantastic, right in the center near of everything and close by a bus station, metro station and Rossio train station. The roof top pool and bar are beautiful and a lovely place to sit, relax and have a drink. The airport bus, number 744 stops right outside the hotel as do the city sightseeing buses. It was quiet, clean and the location unmatched. Staff at reception and at the rooftop bar are very friendly. Luggage hold area is available before check-in and after check-out. Complimentary water was provided within the room on arrival.

The apartment size was decent, clean but could do with redecorating/furnishing. The interior of the room does not match the exterior of the hotel or lobby but it is clean.

The location was easily the best thing. Rooftop pool was fab with a great view. Rooms were functional and clean.

Breakfast was in a room too small for purpose. Regular queue to get a table taking up to 15-20 mins queuing in small enclosed corridor. Also constantly running out of things. Poor staff run off their feet trying to turn tables around and keep levels of cutlery, tea, glasses etc up. Nicer furniture on rooftop would elevate the area from nice to have to amazing location to sit and have a drink. Was functional rather than outstanding.

Location was brilliant for our needs. Bus from airport stops right outside and it was near to many of the places we needed to go to. Rooftop terrace was very nice. Room was spacious with a hallway and small kitchen area.

The hotel decor is starting to look tired. The breakfast arrangements are a complete joke. Long queues for the small crowded breakfast room. Breakfast was mediocre and poor value. We prepaid for 4 breakfasts and only went down to 2. There isn’t a restaurant although there is no shortage of places to eat locally.

The location is fabulous. Restaurants are every where. Found favorites just by walking down a street. It is within walking distance of the river, metro is right there, Hopon hopoff stop out the door. The breakfast was very good and the staff were pleasant and helpful. We stayed iat VIP Eden twice, when we first arrived in Lisbon for 4 days beginning of March and at the end of our trip, the end of March. We stayed in apartments both times. Our first stay the apartment faced the back of building. It was okay. Gave us a lot of room and we were able to have tea at night. The bed was very hard and there was sewage smell coming from the bathroom. I had doubts about staying on our return. We did return and I am glad we did. We again stayed in an apartment but in the front. Great view of the square and surprisingly quiet at night. It had a separate living area,a bedroom, and a kitchen. The bed was firm but not hard. We slept well.

In general, we had a very good experience during our accommodation. We booked a single room and we got a fully equipped apartment, so the size of the room was excellent and it could host an entire family. The location of the hotel is super, it is located near three big squares around the city center with plenty of restaurants and cafeterias. In addition, the connection with the airport by the metro is ideal as the red line cross the blue line and in front of the door's hotel is located a metro station from the blue line. The staff was polite and helpful.

Τhe hotel gives the impression that it needs renovation. Its equipment belongs to past decades, such as the window frames, the television, the ventilation, the carpet, etc. I couldn't get the heating to work even though it wasn't cold. There was no TV in the bedroom. Finally, although the room is facing the street, there is no view due to an arched structure in front of the hotel.
