The hotel was clean and nice. This was out third stay there and the hotel has been consistently clean and a good value.

Registration clerk lied to my face. She told me I did not reserve a king room and they were sold out and only had double queens left. Then her coworker came out to answer phone call - she offered a king room to the caller. I told the coworker that they did not have any more king rooms - the clerk then relented and gave us a king room. I think they had a problem because I used third party (booking.com) to make the reservation. This bugged me all weekend!

clean, beds and pillows super comfortable! Breakfast was really good. coffee a little weak for me. Staff friendly and helpful.

The shower. The floor got wet. seemed like someone could slip and get hurt.

The breakfast was excellent. The kids enjoyed having access to tea and coa-coa all day. We liked having a microwave and refrigerator in our room. We appreciated it was a non-smoking hotel. The staff was very friendly. Even though we didn't use it, we like the little store inside. We liked that it was close to many attractions like Amish Village, Sight and Sound theatre, ChooChoo Barn, Strasburg Station and others.

We really didn't have any complaints.

I had reserved multiple rooms and when my daughter arrived they did not allow her check in although the reservation was under her name and she was leaving her card on file. She was also traveling from another state and had a toddler that needed tending too. I think that the staff that did not check her in could have done better with customer service. I even was on the phone with my daughter on speaker when this occurred..

The breakfast was good but I tried to use the creamers. They did not work and when I asked the staff for more, he shook the bottle, said it was full an left.

I did not have internet in the room because the signal was very weak. Went to the front desk and they gave me a number to call to fix the problem. First time I called all I got was a garbled voice. Second time I called and told them the problem, but it was never fixed. One of the hotel staff came to room and tried to tell me that I had internet because his phone was working in the room. It boils down to the fact that the signal was substandard.

The location was great and the staff was very nice. Breakfast was good. View from our room was lovely. Thank you.

I did not like leaving the room card unattended at the front desk as we ended our stay. Very unsecure. Management should consider using a designated bolted down secure drop box. Think safety first for staff and visitors.

Location perfect for my needs, happy to have seen it on a previous trip and sought to find this specific hotel when making reservations for this trip. Breakfast was more than adequate, seating area spacious & comfy. Room was quiet, little noise from outside. More "rural" setting was lovely as compared to Rt. 30 hotels.

Ice machine on floor 2? I am spoiled by a lifetime of ice on every floor. It really wasn't a problem to go to floor 2 from my floor 1. :-) Basic TV really lacking. Aren't any more channels available?

Our room was quiet. The Hotel itself seems to be in a quiet location unlike many of the accommodations in the area. The breakfast has several hot options as well as cold cereal, yogurt and some fruit. Hotel room was generally clean.

The bed was definitely not as soft as I like. not as hard as some though. there was a stain on one of the chairs. stairwell was not as clean. The air conditioner was noisy.

The breakfast was great at this location. The staff and the other travelers were warm and very friendly. We looked forward too having breakfast each . I have told my friends about this hotel. When they travel to this city too see Sight and Souund theater they will stay at this Holiday Inn Express. Thank you all for a pleasant va. Have more channels on the TV.

The location was great. The front desk people were very friendly. The breakfast was good and the area was kept clean all morning.

The shampoo bottle in the bathroom was empty as was the lotion bottle on the sink. The hotel staff need to pay more attention to that.
