I stayed for 14 days in this cute little apartment, located less than a 10-minute walk from Kyoto Station. I chose an apartment with a small kitchen, on the 4th floor, which also had a terrace with a beautiful view of the city and the surrounding mountains. The kitchen was well-equipped, having everything we needed to prepare a great breakfast: pans, utensils, an induction stove, a hood, a mini electric oven where we cooked pizza and hot sandwiches, as well as a microwave. The host provided us with free oil and spices, which was a nice touch. The bathroom was stocked with shampoo, shower gel, and conditioner, all offered for free. The apartment was clean and had a washing machine, with laundry detergent provided by the host. Although room service is not offered, it wasn't a problem since we could request a Dyson vacuum for free to clean up. We also requested new linens, which were provided immediately, and we changed them ourselves. The beds were very comfortable, as were the pillows. The check-in process was extremely simple, and the person at the reception was very kind. We recommend this accommodation to everyone, as we have nothing but praise for the setup, cleanliness, and location of this apartment!
We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Yes, it is small, similar to other hotels across big cities from Japan, but is very well arranged and equipped so you have everything you need!

It was a really great room. Clean as most places in Japan based on our experience. The washer/dryer was such a huge bonus for us. They had amenities that you can help yourself to if you need it which was nice. This included utensils, razors, toothbrushes, etc. The location was about 20 minutes from main shopping areas, but for those who are less fit and willing to walk, it might take some buses. Stops are very close by. There are a lot of rules to follow which was fine. We understood and respected their wishes. It's not anything that is out of the ordinary that isn't mostly common sense.
The check-in window is limited. It worked out for us, but I can see how it does not work for others. They will not hold luggage so we rented lockers at the train station which was not a big deal, but again, I can see how this might deter others.

Everything It was my very own mini apartment, which I enjoy since it has all the amenities I needed. I really enjoyed having a washer and dryer unit since it was hard to find a place to do laundry when traveling. Also, having a fridge and a mini kitchen was nice if I wanted to store my own meal. If I ever visit Japan again, I def will be coming back to this place. It's close to the train station and the area is quiet. FYI, you clean your own place. No one is going to do it for you. If you're not sure how to recycle. Most packaging in Japan will have a number and tell you how to dispose of that number. Like if it has a triangle with a 6 in it, there's the garage bin with that same triangle with a 6. Toss it there. There's cleaning supplies at the lobby and other stuff if you need anything. Be humble and kind. Enjoy your stay in kyoto.
I got nothing. It was perfect. Though maybe I'll say this for others. But if you want space, this cute, cozy place is not for you.

I loved everything about this hotel. It was so far the best in a good proce, very well located. Being closed to the train station, it makes it so easy to access on arrival and we liked that it wasnt right in the middle of the city centre as we prefer less crowded. Still this area had lots of nice place to eat at. The room itself has everythibg you need even a lamp torch! Having your own washing machine is such a great bonus. Bed was confy and we had unlimited coffee and teas. Price is very good for what you get.
Nothing!

Close to Kyoto Station (10min walk) in a quiet neighbourhood. lots of amenities available. The room has its own washing machine and a small kitchen with appliances. Room is clean, aircon works. Busstop nearby. Nice staff. The room and the items in it come with clear instructions in a manual. Sorry, forgot pics
Very small room and bed, mattress is very thin so the springs poke in your back. Although the location is lovely, we found that Kyoto Station provides little option to move about the city, which sometimes makes the inn a bit of a walk from where you are going or want to be.

Room size was bigger than what we had before. It is equipmed with everything you need. Including washing machine and detergent that was life saver for us since we usually travel with hand luggage. Staff was nice. Hotel has book of rules that needs to be followed, in general sounds funny but it is common sense rules and we didn't find any problem with that. It actually helped for some things to figure how to use. Location is super nice, close to bus, Kyoto station and two big temples. Distance to walk to busy touristic locations was 30-40 min. I would recommend this place

The apartment, though small, had everything you'd need for a short stay! Close to the main train station, bus stops, kyoto tower, restaurants and shops. I loved the idea of self-helping for extra toiletries and cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaner, clothing rack etc. The staff (which I assume were the owners) were very diligent and explained the rules carefully. The foldable bed is a great way to create and utilise the space! We loved the apartment and wish we could have stayed longer!
The bathroom didn't have enough space to keep clothes or toiletries. Also would have been great if storing luggage for few hours was possible.

Just a 10-minute walk from Kyoto Station, the hotel is a wonderful space for a solo traveller. The sunlight coming into the room was superb, and all of the amenities within the room-- including a kitchenette, in-room washer and dryer, and a proper desk area-- made it feel like a small apartment area. It was a joy to stay in a room that felt so homey and cozy.
I was lucky to book this hotel when the rates were low, but sometimes the prices can be very high; in the latter case I would recommend looking for better deals elsewhere. Also, it would've been nice to see the view from my room but many hotels in Japan, including this one, had heavy blurred translucent windows.

Location was in a peaceful residential area, easy walking distance from station. It was very good value for money. Reception whats-app-ed us to let us know our rooms where ready early Bed folded up to allow more living space. Their systems allowed you to easily help them with the recycling etc, which allows them to keep the rooms so affordable. View from top floor front room was amazing. Their English was also amazing, and they went through the room information book at check in. We liked the fact that they do not want loud guests, which means it is a peaceful hotel. They sent house rules before you arrived so very up front with how they run the hotel.
We booked one standard and one deluxe room. Deluxe means a smaller room that has extra facilities in it eg. sink and toaster in it, so makes the room feel very cramped when the bed is in the down position. If you do not want the extra facilities just go for a standard room for more floor space. The bed was low to the floor and very firm. No where comfortable to sit, but extra put up seats where provided on each landing if as a party you had booked more than one room, you could all sit together.

It was spacious and good. Had everything you needed. I honestly never knew how good having a washing machine in your room would be until I experienced it here. Everything was great.
Only major complaint is the wifi was sometimes very slow (I stayed in room 22). Another minor complaint was the TV is quite small but this is no issue at all. Another thing to look out for is you can't leave your bags there once you check out or if you arrive early before your check in time
