Best location is Osaka!!! It would be hard to top this location. You can access to the hotel from an elevator at exit 18 of the subway, which is a real advantage especially when it rains a lot. Family mart on the 2nd floor of the hotel. Bed was comfy. Hot shower worked well. Easy check-in and check-out. We had a pleasant stay.

The room was really small. I’m 165-cm tall and my husband is 171-cm tall and I think we both are considered as average sized. We were a bit struggling to move ourselves in the room. The luggage can only be fully opened one at a time. But I would still stay at this hotel again because everything else was perfect.

Super comfortable place to stay in Osaka. Rooms are bigger than usual APA hotel, clean and comfortable. On the second floor (inside the hotel) you have a family mart store that works 24/7 - a genius idea, feels like you have a huge fridge, which you can reach anytime. Also have an onsen (not tattoo friendly) and outdoor swimming pool. Quite a luxury offer for a business hotel. But the most comfortable is the elevator from the hotel door strait to Hommachi station (exit 18). Very comfortable to people with big baggage (like me). 10/10 definitely will stay again!

Staff doesn`t speak english at all. Hotel is very popular among tuorists and local business travelers, always a big lines on check in, and a lines to elevator.

Small but efficient rooms. Equipped with all amenities one might need during a stay. No coffee maker, but instant coffee and a kettle. Onsen bath is great to relax. Occupancy can be viewed on the smart TV in the room. Familymart is inside the building and 7-Eleven is just around the corner outside. Hotel can be accessed from Hommachi station (M18) directly using the elevator at exit 18. Good location to get to the major attractions of Osaka, as well as restaurant areas like Namba (2 stations by red M line). Osaka station and Shin-Osaka are also reachable either by foot (~30mins to Osaka) or metro (few minutes). Check-In (self-service terminals) and Check-Out (key drop off) were very efficient and fast.

Location is quite noisy due to the highway. Even on 32nd floor, sleeping with an open window was not really possible as motorbikes were cruising on the 4-lane (and 4-level!) highway all night. The center of the building is open air. The weather was warm during my visit, but I can imagine that during the colder months it might be quite cold in the rooms.

All the staff are helpful and always greet you in and out. There's a pool and spa. But I didn't use it as I know tattoo is a concern. No issue with that. Food selection widens if willing to explore and walk. I find the location is a good break from the over bustling area at shinsaibashi and surrounding. Do take note that this is honmachi so traveling in the early morning might be challenging as residents are rushing to work.

The central air-conditioning is on fan for this season. Understandable. I am not sure how to open the window for ventilation and nearly taken out the whole panel. Can be stuffy at night. The lighting is alittle to bright so I never turn on the ceiling light.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!! I love this Apa Hotel. Super close to everything and also convenient as well connected to the train station. I will definitely be coming back here. Late nights/mornings I would get hungry and the Family mart inside the hotel 2F is open with food as well as 7/11 just around the corner. There is also a Spa inside, also you self check in at the front desk. Only problem I had but wasn’t that bad was my room was 9th floor facing the highway! So some nights I would wake up from exhaustion due to ambulance or sirens going off. Other nights I still hear the cars, but I was too tired to let it bother my sleep.

My room facing the highway so there’s constant cars and sirens

It was my first time staying in a hotel of the APA-Chain. Overall it was a pleasant stay. Hotel has a convenient location with a integrated exit from the subway and an convenience Store in the building. Next to the hotel is also a big Seven-Eleven. The hotel also has an café and a restaurant. But i didn't try those. Check-in was pretty fast and uncomplicated. Especially the staff was very friendly and helpful if you had questions. Also always greeting you when you were going out or coming back. If you are early you can store you luggage there with an qr-code which was very practical. The room was pretty tiny but this has to be expected in japan. The bed was pretty comfortable for one person and i had a great view. Don't forget to turn your refrigerator on. On and off button was right above. Bathroom was tiny but had alot of amenities with pretty good quality. The bathtub was also bigger than in other places. The TV had a lot of useful information about the hotel and generally about japan. It was also pretty easy to use and navigate. The hotel also featured a pool and an onsen. The pool though was not open when i stayed there but looked promising. Onsen was very good. You could also see the if the onsen was fully occupied on the tv to avoid many people. The hotel also offered two kimonos which you could use in the room or in the hotel. The room was also clean and you can open your window. For this price you get many amazing things and activities to do.

The bathroom was really tiny. You did not have freedom to move. Amenities were a little bit hard to find sometimes in the room. The elevators weren't that good. You had to wait long times and sometimes it just deleted the selected floor you were going to. That's why i sometimes arrived on a floor with other guests that wanted to go to the opposite direction. Which was a litte bit annoying.

Clean rooms, and every day you get clean towels and after 3 days the room gets cleaned. Very goo value for money and the location is a 20 minutes walking distance from the buzzing area of town, so even when public transport stopped going, you can still walk back to your hotel.

I could've used a European electricity outlet in the room and the internet was not working. After going to the lobby, they reset it after 15 minutes, so it worked again. The only bad thing is that my window was facing a street and you could hear the sirens of police and ambulance and motorbikes racing even from the 23rd floor.

Great Location, connects to exit 18 of the subway, family mart connects to it, there's some great food places in the area. Room was nice, under bed storage is awesome. Bed was firm but comfortable, great duvet, was really cozy. I will likely stay here again in 6 months.

The laundry room is hot as hell, it needs more ventilation. I wish you could adjust the aircon temp for your individual room as I like to sleep cool and found the aircon wasn't cool enough. I slept with the window open which was a bit loud - personally I can sleep through anything but this might annoy others. Also definitely the smallest bathroom I experienced in Japan.

This APA branch has its own subway access right beside it with elevator access. You can also use the one on the next street across or the one around the corner. It has its own Family mart on the 2nd floor and a 7-11 a few steps away. There is a shopping street nearby with restaurants, etc. This building is huge and has an open balcony design for its hallways on every floor. Thank you for giving me a room with a spectacular view. Thank you for accommodating our last minute request for my mom and sister's room to be in a corner unit.

The men's onsen/ grand spa dont have proper lockers...the doors and locks were all removed so anyone can use your towel or yukata or clothes if they wish to. The only one with keys are the tiny lockers for your wallets and key card. The water pressure in the onsen showers are very weak. The only floor with a small microwave is the 12th and 30th floor. I wish they would put microwave on every floor so it will be easier especially this is a big hotel and during peak season there will be many tourist and even though they have 5 elevators, it will take some time to go up and down.. The coin laundry will cost you 500 yen per 31 min wash (unlike other APA hotels and other hotel laundry will only cost you 300 yen per 31 min wash)

It was a great stay! A great location that is connected to a subway station, not too far from Dotonburi and other tourist attractions and a Family Mart on the lower floors. The baths themselves were quite nice and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful too. The rooms themselves were clean and comfortable. Bigger than expected in all honesty, and with enough space under the bed to stow away luggage. The bathroom and bathtub was great too.

I'm not sure how the building itself was constructed but it was crazy cold when leaving your room. When it rained one day, it was raining 'inside' the building too? This made me think the building is partially open on the top but you can't see it from inside as the building has about 30 floors. Not really an issue as this didn't affect you in your room or anything but was just a bit cold once you'd get out of your room on your way to the baths (in your bathrobe!).
