For a few days I didn't realise that used towels and rubbish should be put outside of the room. A small note/instruction would be helpful.

Free breakfast everyday. Free hot and cold water at the lobby. Free wash and green tea package at the lobby. Location is good and near 2 stations.

Staff, they only sit at lobby, they don’t want to eye contact and talk with the customers. Breakfast is less of choice and the volume is little.

The location of the property was great, right near Dotonbori! I loved how spacious and clean the hotel and the room was and I also had a nice city view from my window.

I think the level of English of the reception workers is unfortunately really bad. My partner was severely sick during our stay and I went down to ask for the address of a GP. There was a huge miscommunication and the address we were given was the one of a dermatologist. We realised that, only after taking a taxi to the clinic with my partner having very high temperature. Overall, language is a barrier.

Toyoko Inn Semba No 2 is in a convenient location near to both Hommachi Station and Sakaisuji Hommachi station. It is in a quieter part of town, so you don't hear too many cars and traffic. The staff at the front desk are all very helpful and very friendly. They were able to call us a cab when we were leaving so we wouldn't have to carry our bags to the train station. Breakfast was provided from 6:30-9 AM, but I was unable to enjoy it since I could never wake up on time. Overall, you get what you pay for and the room was comfortable enough for two people.

The beds in this hotel are rock hard. It almost felt like you were sleeping on the floor because they were so uncomfortable. But again, you get what you paid for and since this is a budget hotel, I did not expect much, but the beds were very uncomfortable that I would pay a little more just for a more comfortable bed.

This is a very standard Japanese business hotel. You get what you pay for and nothing else.

First, please note that although there are four subway stations nearby (Honmachi, Sakaisuji Honmachi, Shinsaibashi and Nagahoribashi), the hotel is right in the middle of them, so it is a small walk to whichever station you go - something to note if you are packing heavy bags. The breakfast is nothing to write home about. Finally, please note that due to a mistake on my part, I did not notice that the place I booked was a smoking room and ended up staying four nights on a very smelly room and was not allowed to change to a regular one. Pay attention when booking yours!

The price was competitive. The staff was courteous. Doing some laundry was easy. They help to hold on to the luggage after check-out. Elevator to rooms. Vending machine in the lobby.

I understand that I was given a Smoking room but it was too smelly of cigarettes. The free breakfast was worse that in the other Toyoko that I stayed. I might recommend to others.
