While the price is relatively cheap, the hotel does not feel like it. Also, I really enjoyed the public bath, and the breakfast that provides both western and asian style foods. The room itself was tiny, but well organized (they even thought about orienting the aircond away from the bed). This is a great deal for people that do not care for having a large room with extra empty space.

Only a few tiny things: - pillows are not comfortable. But the type of pillows used seems quite popular in Japan. - the water pressure in the toilets is too low to properly wash out residuals. - the public baths are too hot to my personal taste (I think water was 42 degrees).

The location of this hotel is just perfect! Not just for Osaka main attractions but also if you intend to go to Kyoto for frequent day trips. You can either choose to walk back from popular tourist hotspots or take a train back (usually 2-3 stops max). It was winter when I went so we took the train everywhere.

The size of the room was very small. I chose the most basic room. It was tight for me but I am honestly fine with it. My friend, however, struggled with the size of it. I would not recommend this if you are intending to stay for long and using the room for work calls. You might feel a bit claustrophobic! This is more for the short stay or super easy going kind of travellers!

Good location. Very close to the metro station. It has Onsen even though we didn’t use it.

The personnel there claimed that the price we got was not for us and that we would have to cancel the reservation and make a new one and pay more. There was no such description on booking.com and in the end they admitted that it was their problem with booking.com and not ours but I didn’t need that type of hassles. No travelers have to go through that when they arrive tired after a long trip. We use APA hotels a lot throughout Japan but it seemed the room was exceptionally small for two people. Also they normally have complementary tea but they didn’t have that this time.

The hotel looks new or recently renovated. The public bath is large and clean, it has a sauna and an open air bath. The room, even if small (not smaller compared to other hotels in Japan), has all the amenities and a large screen TV with free VOD. Bathroom and room very clean. Vending machines with good products. Varied breakfast. Great price for the service offered.

There is only one washing machine and one dryer in the public bath. The hotel is located in a quiet and safe area but you will have to use the subway every time you want to get to Umeda station or sightseeing places (unless you want to walk a couple of kilometers).

Spotlessly clean as usual for a Japanese hotel. Good to have coin laundry but it will be even better if they can have the laundry away from the public bath area. It’s a bit of a shock to overseas tourists like myself to see completely nude bodies walking around while getting my laundry done. I understand nudity is part of the Japanese public bath culture and I am very keen to experience it but may be just not while I am doing the laundry.

Although that I used the subway and follow the direction guide it is Pretty far from Osaka station! And hard to find the location. If you arrived from shin-Osaka station “which I was” it is even far. The noise was on and off…

Large Bath is very comfort. The variety of breakfast is also very good

Check-in time is very rigid. Hope more flexibility to accept the guest before scheduled check in time of 15:00 altough it depends on the availability and readiness of the room

Close to station (#11 exit ) This hotel has spa!! Close to old authentic building. The building has nice caffe, whiskey bar, chocolatier ..and so on. The location is calm in weekend caz bank businesses area. It was nice.

Great location and great value for money. We've stayed at another APA hotel in Tokyo and we knew what to expect. We loved the fact that you can do laundry and while waiting you can enjoying the spa downstairs.

The public bath was a great feature, it was wonderful to come back to that after a long day walking outside. Also, the TV has a feature telling you how full the baths are.

For two people and suitcases, the rooms are really very cramped.
