Staff are friendly, helpful, professional and speak English. Facilities are clean and well maintained. Location is decent with the Higobashi Station closeby, lots of small cafes, restaurants scattered amongst the surrounding streets. Mutiple 7-11, Family Mart, plus a pharmacy and a supermarket within a stone's throw away. Each floor has a water refill and ice dispensing machine, which is something I found really handy. IHG members get late checkout at 2pm which was a great help as I needed that bit of extra rest on my last day. I liked the theme of the interior design, but this is something subjective and varies depending on the individual.

There can be the occassional loud motor cycles passing by on the main road during night time, but it didn't affect me at all. And it's Osaka afterall and lots of main roads/streets would face similar situations.

It’s a spanking new hotel . Chic , beautifully designed spaces. Clean and convenient. Nice restaurants on the adjacent street . We had our best Italian pizzas right next door at Saint Lucia. The staff were very helpful. We interacted mostly with Ms Nagamuchi and she speaks great English and was very resourceful. The hotel is in a quieter part of Osaka. It is easier to get a train or taxi to the busy parts. About 10/15 mins to Umeda station or Dontonbori by cab.

I wish it was a tad bit closer to the busier parts to walk everywhere but it’s still very beautiful and accessible.

Will definitely keep choosing IHG hotels wherever we go!!!

We were asked to add money for our 15 year old daughters. We had entered all the age data when making the reservation so it came as a surprise. Had we known there was an additional cost, we might have made other plans. When we explained this to the staff, they asked their manager on their own accord and waived this request. So, it was taken care of very professionally, yet it did leave a bit of a bad tase.

Good layout of room which contain enough space for big luggage. The environmental friendly concept was great such like there was a cooler installed on every floor and we could refill water easily.

Breakfast choice was too few. Suggest hotel either has buffet or a-la-carte so the quality of meal could be better. The training of staffs needs to be strengthened since the check-in process was not so smooth. The breakfast area was obviously short of enough waiter.

Amazingly clean and comfortable hotel. Nicely designed rooms and attention to details. Loved staying here.

Not super well connected to metro lines. Very limited vegan/vegetarian menu options available and staff is unhelpful in finding solutions (not up to par for international hotel standards).

All the amenities and polish that we expected - very solid property, would be happy to stay again. Nice breakfast buffet, helpful staff (arranged late checkout + a taxi to the airport for our flight home). Location in Osaka is a bit in between the major sites/shopping, but was easy to get around via metro and taxi or with a bit of walking.

Large comfortable rooms. The hotel was not too big and the staff very helpful and welcoming. The area was quiet, but still close enough to places of interest.

Coffee and breakfast options were quite expensive.

Elegant contemporary design with interesting decor and artwork. Excellent breakfast. Well managed with courteous helpful staff, though newly opened. 10 min walk to station. Quiet neighbourhood at night. Ramen Toride - great local ramen bar just 2 min walk away.

Could have more guest facilities, eg. pool or spa with onzen /steam room.
