We loved this hotel. Our room was a king with a sitting area and despite being unusual in it's layout, we liked it. We had a seating area for 3, the shower was in a separate room off the lounge. The basin is by the entrance and the toilet is separate. Bed was big enough, there was hanging space for jackets, a fridge was handy and there was basic coffee and tea/kettle facilities. This is a low service hotel but that suited us fine. We put garbage and used towels outside and they were replaced. They provided a himidifier that was quiet. There a re MANY nice extras here; the onsen costs 1,000 y per person per day but it's worth every penny. Gorgeous facilities with an outdoor and indoor pool, soaking tub and sauna. Showers and dressing area was spotless and high quality. There are free massage chairs, free ice creams and ramen at night. Staff were very helpful when I wanted to find a riverboat ride. We just used a phone translator to communicate. There is a 7 Eleven behind the hotel and a Lawson across from that. Kitihama station has a supermarket downstairs. This is a quiet business part of town and you can walk to many places or take trains.

The special type of Air Weave bed was far too firm for our liking and it's unclear why just these rooms have this bed as the smaller twin rooms have a normal bed (our sons bed was fine). To cope with the bed we needed extra pillows - my husband had 4 pillows! The room layout is a bit challenging. There are no hooks or towel rails in the shower room but they have placed them on the sliding door right next to the bed and they get in the way...🤷‍♂️ The room only had one small window so it was quite dim. These things did not spoil our stay.

Fantastic onsen facilities for the price we paid. Whilst the space was small (one indoor pool, one outdoor pool and one outdoor tub), I often had one pool to myself if I went earlier in the day or later at night. We were able to do our laundry easily as there were free washing machines available and ¥100 for 30min in the dryer. Only minutes walk from Kitaham station with a supermarket and two convenience stores a very short walk away. Complimentary supper and snacks available to hotel guests across the day too! Neighbourhood was quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of busier areas downtown.

Clean efficient hotel, decent sized rooms, good facilities ( great onsen bath) and nice extras ( night ramen, soft drinks available for free)

Not fault of hotel, my week included the national Oct holiday and behavior of some of other international guests that weekend was not so good- loud talking and not following rules in onsen , poor behavior in shared washing area. Again not fault of hotel, not sure what can be done when groups of guests are not considerate of others. Most staff excellent, one was enough less so that had to not give the hotel a perfect rating for desk staff. (Miss the free alcohol that had been offered here pre-pandemic) . It’s a bit of a walk from eating places but also lovely location near the river.

The location is a bit far from the busy area (a few blocks from the subway station), but the amazing onsen is fabulous which is well worth of. The hotel provides free yogurt drinks in the morning and popsicles at night at the onsen area, plus free noodle soup in the evening at the restaurant next to the lobby. The room is clean and quiet with comfortable sheets and beds. The bathroom is very clean. We didn't have to use the shower because the onsen provides all the necessary cleaning routine with nice shampoo and conditioner. There are many restaurants close by. The staff are super helpful. Ms. Park helped us check in and made sure the sofa bed was set up for the night. We enjoyed staying for three nights. Highly recommend this hotel!

Not much!

This was our second time staying at the hotel. We enjoyed the onsen on the top floor and the snacks that they provide. The location is a quiet part of the city that has some great local restaurants and bakeries scattered about. We made use of the two nearby metro lines and a bus stop that got us around where we needed to go. We enjoy the breakfasts that this chain provides. Great Japanese breakfast options and plenty of food. Staff is always friendly. The experience seems to be rather consistent among their hotels. We've stayed at several and we have another trip to Nagasaki where we will be staying at a Dormy Inn. We really like the brand.

I did notice some parts of the room needed some more attention to detail with cleaning. Linens and towels were spotless, but I noticed that the shower door could have used a wipe down. Nothing horrible, but enough to note. It didn't really affect us because we made use of the onsens upstairs. That being said, I really do like this hotel chain.

Hotel offered free ramen and drinks at night time which is perfect after onsen bathing. Onsen facility is too good as it has cold and hot version as well as a sauna room. We booked a non-smoking room, but we got a room with strong smoking odour. I called the staff and she immediately replaced another room to us. We appreciated that.

Lifts were crowded, probably due to high season. Sometimes we have to wait for a while for going up or down.

Our room was spacious (by Osaka standards), comfortable and very pleasant. We particularly enjoyed the public bath area and the various amenities related to it, as well as the night-time noodle service. It is relatively close to public transport options and it is within walking distance to the Nakamoshima Children’s Book Forest (an off the beaten track location that we highly recommend). We would be happy to stay here again.

- This is a relatively minor quibble, but the front desk staff were quite cold in their attitude (they were professional, it is just that I cannot describe them as friendly/welcoming) - This didn’t affect me personally as I used the public baths throughout my stay, but my relative who used the in-room shower felt that it was a bit too cramped.

Location is easily walkable to Osaka castle and 2 different metro lines. Our twin room was large, clean and beds very comfortable. The soaking bath and amenities were great and free washer (coin dryer) was a total bonus. Staff was very professional and friendly & helped us out with all our needs. Will note wifi on our floor was really fast for us. There are many convenience stores nearby and a basement level grocery store literally next door to the hotel at the metro station. This is also more like a business hotel district. If you want lively nightlife this is not the area to stay in but we really enjoyed the quiet.

The room honestly could have a little more information/instructions available in english. All device remotes and tv channels are Japanese only. It would also be helpful to have a printed english guide of onsen etiquette for first time bath users.

We had a spacious room with comfy bed, everything you could possibly need in terms of amenities. The public onsen was great, everything was clean and thoughtful as one would expect. 3min walk from station with good local restaurants nearby. I’d certainly come back.

Reception staff was nonchalant. Unlike the expected politeness from Japanese staff, they ignored us and spent most of their time chatting among themselves, even when we greeted them as we walk in and out of the lobby. Disappointing.

Complimentary evening Ramen was a lovely touch. The Onsen was luxurious and spaced out ( 3 different pools) with everything supplied and a wonderful relaxation area with massage chairs. Staff incredibly attentive. When we were trying to buy some concert tickets, we couldn’t do it over the phone as we didn’t have a Japanese postcode, so one staff member actually showed us to the Family Mart to show us how to do it. I can’t prise the staff here enough, they were all wonderful. Also free laundry area. Breakfast very nice with plenty of fruit.

the double bed is a little small for two people and pillows were uncomfortable. The location is not ideal although there is a station very close.
