Very clean, the absolute centre of Shinsaibashi area, wonderfully close to everything you might need. The amenities are great, though you have to purchase towels at additional cost.

The beds are hard, but that’s a given for Europeans visiting Japan.

The room is great, clean and tidy. Towel provided, strong wifi, clean toilets and shower. There's a bar attached to the hostel, tho I didn't get the chance to try it out. 7eleven and Family Mart nearby, within walking distance. Yotsubashi Station is 5mins away by walking. SuperTamade also is nearby, about 10mins walk. My flight back is early in the morning, I'm truly grateful there's a night staff who helped to call the taxi to Namba since it's raining.

The check in time was a little late at 4pm, instead of 2pm or 3pm since I arrived at 10am. Location is about 20mins walk to Namba Station and Dotonbori. The mattress is thin, I can feel the cardboard below.

The toilets were VERY clean, and providing free soap, shampoo AND conditioner? Above and beyond for a hostel. Also, for its' location, fantastically cheap and not in a loud or busy area, so sleep is easy. Beds have a helpful privacy curtain, and it felt really safe to be in. Yes you have to rent a bath towel, but its' really cheap. And, best part of all, they have FREE umbrellas that you can borrow whenever you go out, and it's the big ol' kind of umbrella that'll protect you from storms pretty well (trust me, I tried).

As stated, beds were terribly hard, but it's a futon-style mattress in a hostel, you know what you're gonna get. Additionally, you're not gonna socialize MUCH at this hostel, but good if you just want to meet one or two close friends in the hostel.

Probably one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. The cabin bed is very comfortable with your own light, plug and hangers to put your towel or clothes. The shower is incredible and it includes soap, shampoo and conditioner. Overall it is super clean and quiet, perfect for a night sleep. Fast wifi and great helpful staff. Location is also a plus, very close to convenience stores, restaurants and public transportation.

The only thing I can think of is, there is no space to store your bags, no lockers or anything like that. At least in the dorm I stayed. There was some sort of corridor next to the door where you could put your bags but it's not enough, especially in an 8-bed dorm.

As far as hostels go, this was a great one. The shower and toilet facilities are good. Rooms are clean with Aircon. There is a bar for drinks. It's a short walk to some of the busiest nightlife area including dōntonburi. Short walk for metro station. Can leave bags when you check out. The manger recommended a great bar to go to 👍

Tough to sleep in the room as there is noise from the other beds but this issue is present in every hostel.

Hostel is in a good location, staff are friendly and the bar area is good to hang out in.

Our floor only had two showers, with each room having 4-6 beds with 4 rooms on the floor. I stayed an extra night here as part of a group tour so there were 14 of us, plus other guests and with all the beds in each room full, it meant if you wanted to shower you had to wait ages missing out on valuable time in the city. On my night booked through booking.com I had to check out early for a flight and the showers were all occupied in the evening, even with less people around, so I had to get up extra early and shower at 4am before I left!

Close to stores, the metro, and Dotonburi. Showers had really good water pressure, and shampoo/conditioner/soap was freely available. Bed was very very comfy. Solid frames so no having to worry about disturbing the person above/below you. Staff were super nice and friendly.

Dorm itself is very small, there’s barely room for two people to pass each other. The luggage storage area in the room was just a little nook in the corner so if your luggage was in the back, there is no way to get to it with everyone else’s luggage in front of it. The bar/restaurant is owned by someone other than the hostel, and they were quite rude. Bought breakfast and even though no one else was in the lounge area, I was told to buy something else or leave.

I stayed in a 6-bed female dorm. The room was quiet and the beds were comfortable. Both the bedroom and bathrooms were kept very clean. Great location, near to Dotonbori and fairly well connected by transit. If your Japanese is still very basic (like mine!), all of the staff here were very friendly and understanding and spoke great English.

The floor space in the bedrooms was very small, so there wasn't much of an area for everyone to put their shoes/bags/clothes, etc. I had to sleep with all my belongings piled at the end of my bed. Very nice stay, but a little expensive for a hostel.

The staff was friendly and very helpful navigate the surrounding areas, the rooms were clean as were the bathrooms. Beds are comfortable. Modern hostel and the bar area seemed cozy and a great place to catch a drink or some food. Location was centrally located, close to dotonburi and the big food market.

No real common areas. Each floor had a table right when you get off the elevator for a few guests to hang out at, but no large common room. Kitchen is not equipped to cook your own meals if that is what you are looking for in a hostel. It is equipped with basic utensils and dinnerware if you bring a store bought meal and just need to eat it.

This place is ridiculous value for what it is. We had a private double room, and for Westerners it will feel like a very clean and tidy budget hotel room. The location is what makes this place good value, it is walking distance to Dotonbori and to a few of the major train and subway stations. If you want somewhere to stay where you'll predominantly be out exploring Osaka then I would definitely recommend this place.

Nothing really. When we arrived it took a while to get somebody to come to the desk and actually check us in, but apart from that everything was easy. It is a bit weird that it is marketed as a hostel and coffee bar, as the staff in the coffee bar were very quick to tell me the two were unrelated.
