The location was very good if you like the nightlife. We had a private room which was large enough for us and even had a small couch. Easy acces to shared toilet and showers where the shampoo was included.

There where only 2 wall outlets, placed above each other. I think that 2 is already a bit too few if you are with 2 persons and you want to charge your phones but also cameras etc. We couldn't use the 2 outlets because we need adapter blocks (we have European plugs). The adapter blocks are large and therefore only 1 outlet could be used.

The location is really great as it's right beside Dotonburi and all the food stalls and famous Glico man. If you come out of Namba station, take exit B4 and stay to your left to get to the hostel. The first intersection you see, you'll cross the road and the hostel will be a couple hundred meters on your right close by the 7-11. The staff are friendly, speak enough English and the price is great for the stay. You are also able to come in and leave anytime. I had a twin bunk bed room and got a key so no one could enter while I was gone.

There were some comments about cleanliness and while I agree that the room walls could be cleaner, the bed itself and shower areas were fine. I think expectations need to be kept reasonable given that it is a hostel and not a hotel with a whole cleaning staff doing room service.

The location doesn't get better. A few minutes walk from Namba and Dotonbori, that are places full of activities but at the same time the street and the hostel is very chill. Rooms and beds are comfy, maybe depending on the time of the day you sleep you can hear some noise from outside but it feels like teleporting you into some futuristic Hollywood film with the sirens of the ambulance haha. So being there just go walk everywhere in 3km radius around the hostel and enjoy everything. Also if you're into partying don't forget to check Ghost and Balabushka that are literally 2 minutes away!

The location is perfect: Right beside dotonbori and walking distance to Namba! Just for that it was the right choice! We had a small private room, fully air-conditioned, with good clean showers around the corner. The staff spoke very good English. Hygiene was perfect with daily cleaning.

We almost had no interaction with others in this hostel. No one was in the common space (besides one or two people cooking at one point). The beds were hard (thin mattress).

A cozy little hostel right at the Dotonbori river. Got everything you need. A nice common area, a washing machine and dryer, nice staff, even... AC's! Which is a blessing in the summer. Good if you're traveling alone or with a group as it accommodates both. I will come back!

The walls are a bit thin. And my one person room was right in the middle between two two person rooms shared by a group. Meaning it wasn't as quiet as I would've liked. Other than that, don't expect nothing too high class looking. Doesn't need it anyway, I think, but I heard other customers complain about it's "old" looks.

Great for location, didn’t get to make use of the socialising aspect as I was busy doing my own thing, but everyone was super friendly. They do have all the amenities you need, even straighteners! The common room was really cool, had an old games console, guitar, sofas, kitchen.

Bed was the least comfortable one I’ve slept on so far during my tour around Japan… the facilities were not clean, I felt icky using the shower. Only would stay again because if I really wanted to stay near Dotonbori

It was decorated with love, and felt homey. The downstairs kitchen area was a good place to relax. Location is excellent for access to Namba station and Dotonbori. The staff had friendly energies even though they seemed busy.

The bathroom facilities are old, but as well maintained as they can be. Not very many bathrooms for the amount of folks staying but I never had to wait long. Fixing/adding bidets would be a plus 😇

Friendly staff, good location- near Namba station which has direct transfer to KIX airport and short walk to Dotonbori. Near 7 eleven and family mart. I love that they accomodated our request to add extra bed for our son ( we were 3). I love also that their check in time is 11am not the usual 4pm. Though shared toilet/bath- we had no issues. Had enough sockets to plug/charge our gadgets. Near to coined laundry and locker. With elevator.

You can hear loud noise from outside but not a big deal for us bec we can sleep despite it. 1 Window need to be fixed, we cant close it.

Excellent location! Walking distance to Dotonbori and perfect for Osaka clubbing, food trip, shopping etc. Easy check-in/check out. The receptionist was able to communicate in English. This place is just a walking distance to the train and bus station. We were able to easily navigate going to this hotel using google map. This is just a basic hotel where you can sleep and bathe. Restaurants and convenience stores are nearby so a lot of food options to choose from. They also have a kitchen where I had to get hot water for my ramen to ease my hangover :-) All in all, I love this hostel because of the location and the price. For me, this is worth the money especially for a budget traveler like me. By the way, plus factor that I saw this Jap handsome guy but not sure if he is working there. He looks like a member of a Japanese rock band. Not sure if he can speak English but I would definitely say hello to this guy the next time I come back :-P

The lock in our room seems not working but we had forgotten to mention it and did not even bother since we will just be staying for 2 nights. Cleanliness could be improved but it's not that bad.
