Location simply cannot be beat - the vibrant heart of downtown Osaka is practically right outside the front door, as well as easy access to subway transportation to get anywhere else you need. Everything was kept very tidy, and the dorm sleeping space was quite comfortable too, allowing me at about 6'3"/190cm more than enough room for me to sit up straight and stretch my legs fully. Obviously, YMMV on this part, but I found that other guests to be very considerate as well - they were all very kind about keeping noise levels down and clutter out of the hallways. All of this for a very economical price per night is more than one can ask for!

This overall was a fantastic stay! - Kazu (the host) is genuinely one of the nicest people I have ever met and he was really kind and helpful throughout my stay - The hostel is 4 min walk to Shinsaibashi metro station, which is a 14 min ride from Shin-Osaka - You can change towels once a day free of charge - The bedsheets were clean AND smelled nice - There is an international plug by the bed - There are separate showers for women which also have a curler and a straightener

In an ideal world it would be nice to have a common space to socialise with the other guests, but I don't think at the moment it would be possible to arrange that with the spaces available.

Kazu was amazing! Super friendly and even though he speaks amazing English, he let me practice my Japanese at the counter. 😊 Definitely the most comfortable capsule I've been in! The proximity to Shinsaibashi Station was extremely convenient, perfect location for my trip. Feel Osaka Yu is in a quiet area with easy access to everywhere, will definitely stay again when I come back!

Not the hotel's fault, but someone had a very rough cough the whole night and made it difficult to sleep even with headphones. I love that the capsules are wooden and open, but it means sound travels easily.

The staff was amazing. Ask them for any sort of help or recommendations and they will go through a lot of effort to help you. Location is perfect. Dotonbori is about 10 minutes of walking. There is a nice grocery store around the corner if you want some fruit or vegtables and the subway is practically at crawling distance.

Only thing is the laundry machines. It does both washing and drying so for a large amount of laundry you need to be patient since drying can take up some time. That's it. Everything else was absolutely superb. Highly recommended.

The location is incredibly convenient, near the shinsaibashi metro station. The staff is adorable and the cleaning is done regularly. I will come back for sure next time I visit Osaka. Best value for money hotel.

The hotel can change your towel everyday if you leave it near the bathroom. Mine didn’t get changed one day (and I really needed it) but I do think it’s just a small mistake and it’s unusual.

I was travelling alone (female) and really liked this hostle. It is clean and comfortable. I had a privat-room, I liked the seize and had a small hand wash sink. There is also a separate, enclosed shower area for women. The man at the reception (Kazu) is great, he is accommodating, nice and helpful. I spraind my ankle in Osaka and they helped me out with coolpads, ointment and even with ordering some food! I would go there again!

Everything was just perfect! Even though I stayed in the dorm, it was very quiet and comfortable. Everything was very clean and well tended to. There are many amenities and it is very easy to get settled. Since the hotel is located only about 5 minutes from the nearest subway stations, it’s very easy to access other places. Kazu (front desk) was very helpful and recommended restaurants etc., when I asked him.

Sat and jammed on my last night with the guy that ran it who was playing drums. Two other guys joined us and had a great night, shame I had to leave the next day. Set up was very clever and comfortable, better than a lot of hotels I've stayed in. Uber clean. Great location.

at first I was a bit scared about being in 20 room flat but it was so good, the best hostel I ever stayed in. The hotel owner was super kind and recommended local restaurants and even called there to make reservations. the location of the hostel is great as well. would definitely go here again,

Exceptional Location, awesome host, walking distance to Namba, Dotonburi and Shinsaibashi. Kaz was the best he made sure that my 5 nights there was nothing short of excellent everyday he would give me recommendations of what to do visit and eat nearby.
