The staff (especially Mirza!) were very friendly and were more than willing to accommodate us dropping off / leaving our baggage at the reception desk. The free shuttle bus service to Orchard Road was great too.

It would have been nice if the pool was open 24 hours. At check-in we were told that we would have to pay a deposit on top of the room fee, then subsequently told by another member of staff that this was not necessary as we were paying by debit card. This meant that we converted a lot more currency into SGD than necessary.

The Location of the Stevens mercure is beautiful! It is located in a very calm area and actually reachable by bus and metro. We mostly used the Stevens metro as it is only 2 bustops away. Once at the metro little india, Chinatown and the rest of the atrractions are only a few stops from the hotel by metro!What we loved most, is being able to use the garden area of the hotel in the evenings. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants, a 7 up store , winery,pizzeria , cafes etc . Our room was relatively tiny but served its purpose. It was cleaned every day and we got our complementary water bottles as well as coffee , tea sachets . The pool is beautiful and the amenities are as depicted , not photoshopped. Thankyou mercure team for your kindness and great service and making our stay worth it !

The AC´s aren't silent.

I thought the front office was too busy and had little time, I stayed for 8 days and requested for 2 hrs of extension on last day, only 1 hr given.

The stay was very nice, comfortable, good value for money for the amount of facilities available. The huge gym and 7/11 right below the hotel was the best part. The location is great, a 4 minute walk to the nearest bus stop to reach Orchard in 15 mins. The cleaning is also superb and the cleaning ladies were kind.

We asked for a nice room with a view for as it was our anniversary and we were told it wasn't available because that was the Novotel side. Then they said the room given to us also has a nice view, which was blocked by trees and buildings. Felt like we were lied to, cause there were nicer rooms on the Mercure side with better views. Also may not be suitable for long stays because there are no windows. There are also no food stores/restaurants nearby, unless it is the hotel restaurants, which are a bit overpriced.

The rooms were clean. You can walk to Orchard Road and Botanical Gardens but dress appropriately (I.e proper exercise clothing and trainers/ sand shoes) Pool area was clean - but no bar or food options. There is a shuttle bus to Orchard but is usually very crowded, easier to catch a cab

Misleading in the room description. The room size was smaller than advertised, there are no balconies with pool view (or balconies at all) The bar is extremely expensive (however there is a GRUB next door which is more reasonable for food and drink) You are a captive audience as there are very limited options around the hotel. You can walk to Orchard but it is quite a distance in the heat or catch a cab. We didn’t opt for breakfast option (we did try one morning but as the hotel is a transit for organised bus tours it was chaos) Instead we opted for breakfast at Prive Botanical Gardens and Orchard Road. Eggslut (yes that is the name : )) Check opening times as things open later in Singapore and Tiong Bahru Bakery Orchard.

it is central, staff are friendly and helpful. it was a short stay for us but it was great!

The location and pool are great with easy access to all the major attractions.

The perfect customer service, the rooms were clean besides the curtains the location was wonderful and the team at Mercure really did go thr extra mile to make sure our stay was wonderful by giving us a cake for our anniversary. So sweet and so nice of them . Will stay here again Not to mention the usefulness of the laundromat though $10 is quite a bit for a laundry machine. Though it's pretty cool that it supplies its own softer and laundry detergent. And the infinity pool is beautiful. And the view was amazing I wish I can wake up to it everyday not to mention the reasonable price for a place in orchard.

The curtains were stained and could use a little bit of a clean and the location of the power plugs are literally on the bed head so you're charging your phone while the plug itself sits under your pillow. It's not very safe. The laundromat could use a check on every now and then as the dryer filters weren't emptied and there was lint and hair on the floor. Little trivial things they are nevertheless.

Breakfast was good but too expensive. Too crowed for a meal, people talking over others( poor sanitary practice)

Most front desk staff were not informative a couple of them even unfriendly and irritable. My sisters missed their flight coming from Africa and two days were paid for but I send and all the hotel could offer is taxi to the airport! We simply asked for free breakfast. The hotel is more profit making and lack the knowledge of the importance of customer service and attracting customers to come back!

Room is clean & big

I can see there is lack of staff at counter. Waited long time to get my room access card. Please prepare your own coin if you plan to do your laundry here as the coin machine is not working.
