Nice, polite staff at the reception, free parking, good breakfast, far from the city centre, but fortunatelly next to the tram station.

Tinny room, some places with a poor cleanless( on the side of the bad), small sink, out of the bathroom- quite uncomfortable.

I enjoy staying at the Citiez Hotel for a number of reasons but the size of my room is not in keeping with the rates charged here, especially on weekends. Especially considering that the location, though practical re: public transit, is on the very outskirts of Amsterdam. Regarding the quality of comfort, cleanliness, friendliness and helpfulness of staff...one couldn't ask for more. I liked it so much, I returned to stay here a second time.

The room could have been a bit bigger: for someone staying more than just overnight...I stayed almost a week...the little wall rack for hanging clothes with 4-5 hangers was totally inadequate. A narrow closet or an additional hanging rack would have helped immensely. Most of my clothes had to stay in my luggage, wrinkling more as the week went by.

Perfect location only 30 minutes by tram from Amsterdam Centraal. Rooms are not too big but absolutely sufficient for a city trip. Clean room, friendly stuff, good breakfast. The hotel is located in a shopping area so you have everything within 100 m. And if you park your car at Q-Park (public park house only 50 m away) Citiez takes over the parking fee, even for a couple of days(!). Just check in advance how much that would be.

I myself do not like to have the wash-bowl in the room directly beside my bed, especially not if this is just as big as a normal salad bowl.

Very close to a tram stop and a lot of shopping (big box stores, mainly). Clean and comfortable, albeit very small. Staff was not so friendly during check in but it seemed there was a problem they were solving. Later, and our other days, the staff was amazing. Nice breakfast options. Wifi was strong. Really nice that parking was included.

The room is very narrow - you must put your bags under the bed. There’s one stair inside the room, so for less able people this could be a challenge. The stair has a built in light that is surely a safety feature but cannot be dimmed and it shines right in your direction when you sleep. It was really annoying. There is shampoo and shower gel but no hand soap for the sink. The price per night was exorbitant.

We had a very good stay at the hotel. The staff are young and trendy. They seem to care about the guests experience. The 24 hour café was very good and the drinks were at a reasonable prices. The breakfast was excellent value and very tasty. The decor was new and fresh. I enjoyed the theme of the hotel. The aircon in the hotel room was excellent and quiet. We picked this hotel as parking was free in central Amsterdam. The nearby park and lake are beautiful and it was great that the Meervaart Theatre was two minutes away. There is a nice selection of shops on the doorstep of the hotel and lots of restaurants nearby. The hotel was quiet all night.

The room is the size of a shoebox. This did not bother us as we were out most of the time and we used the cafe when we were in the hotel. The bed was big enough but as the mattress was on top of a wooden box it was not the most comfy. The price was competitive for Amsterdam but still expensive.

The staff was friendly and welcoming, and you could get to the tram stop in no time.

The air-conditioning control panel in the room was a decoration piece. Every night we had different temperatures in the room and they were unpredictable, despite ourselves setting them in the panel. The space was rather limited, but it seems to be a norm in the Netherlands. The breakfast options were underwhelming, we preferred to walk 3 mins towards a nearby supermarket and buy ham and cheese and bread. The beds were too soft and pillows clumpy, my back got affected by that. The hotel was tricky to find the first day, and if you don't opt out, you'll get a tons of unwanted messages in your inbox.

The staff is super nice and the concept of the hotel (each room is dedicated to a different city) is lovely. The cafe is open 24hours and I highly recommend you get yourself a Hot Chocolate deluxe from the lovely lady with the pink hair. We had breakfast on our last day before going home, good selection (even pancakes) and quality. The parking is free in the nearby QPark garage which really saves you a lot of money if you come by car. It is 30mins away from Amsterdam Centraal, but the Tram station is just around the corner, as is a big Albert Hejn Supermarket if you need anything. If we come back to Amsterdam, we know where we'll stay.

Only thing really is the bathroom door. I don't know if it's the same in all rooms, but it's a milky glass door that leaves gaps all around - I mean, we're married, but we still don't need to hear each other while on the toilet 😅

Good location for travelling into central Amsterdam by tram. Tram stop only a couple of minutes walk from hotel and about 15 minute to get to Centraal Station. The free parking was a massive bonus. The Hotel itself was spotlessly clean with comfortable beds and a good quality if simple continental breakfast. My room as a single traveller was very small - but like the inside of my caravan there was everything I needed including a good shower and a large double bed. the space was very well designed so that I never felt squashed in. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly

The location is amazing if there is a festival happening in Sloterpark, which is across the street. Also McDonald’s is next door and some good shopping as well. The free is also really nice. The rooms are really small but you have everything you need, but def not for an extended stay.

The price is super expensive for what you get, but they do know the festival dates and that is why the price is so high. There’s also no windows but we only were there for sleeping so the darker the better.

Very good location with tram station within few meters from the hotel. Plenty of shops around, including "Coffee shop" if that's of Your interest. You could reach Center of Amsterdam easy with one tram ride. Free parking in Q park garage is included in the price and it's very convenient. The staff is very friendly and ready to help.

Bathroom door is made of glas and it's kind of weird with the toilette right behind it.
