The location of Sea View is stunning. We were travelling 2 up on a motorbike and although the road out of Picton is not for the faint-hearted, it was well worth the twists and turns to arrive at such beautiful accommodation. Our welcome was just perfect, absolutely nothing was too much trouble for our hosts, including at very short notice organising some evening food for us. Sitting out on your own little terrace for dinner and breakfast was something very very special.

Very amazing view from the room over the bay/sounds. It is a bit outside of Picton (10-minutes drive). We really enjoyed the view and the tranquility and spent the 2 evenings on the small terrace outside. The room is clean and offers all you need. The hosts are very nice, and breakfast is brought to your room (if you leave early because of the ferry as we did you even get it the evening before and can have it before you leave). We really can recommend it!

The view was exceptional, the owners were amazing & the room was strategically located. The bed is placed with a beautiful view, the peace was so evident as you arrive. The stay was exactly what we needed, away from the hustle & bustle of the city life. Even though our stay was a short one, we would definitely be back when we come back to this part of the island.

The drive was through a narrow & winding road and a little away from the town. However, with a little planning, we bought dinner into the place & enjoyed having our dinner in the room which was spectacular. So all worth it!

Breakfast very good, nice choice of fruit, juice, cereal, and toast/croissants. Undoubtedly stunning location with beautiful views over the Sounds, quiet and peaceful, no noise whatsoever.

Kitchen facilities limited- fridge/microwave/toaster only which meant a 15 minute drive back into Picton for dinner after a day out. (Access to a barbecue would have been useful)

Fantastic water view from our very private room - sadly, we endured rainy, misty weather - would have loved to have sat out on the little balcony watching boats/ferries cruise past. Very quiet location. Room was compact, but adequate, and spotlessly clean. Enjoyed the breakfast Susan provided, especially the fresh fruit and yoghurt, as well as the plunger coffee.

Well worth it, but be prepared for a bit of a drive out from Picton to reach A Sea View.

Absolutely stunning. We had a great stay and wish we had more time. The room was very comfortable and the views were better than expected. Su and Ross were great hosts, very good communication and the use of their kayak was a huge plus. Close enough to town but far enough for a really peaceful stay. Hope to come back.

The location is gorgeous - it was nice to get away from the town. The hosts were really nice and the breakfast was delicious. The check-in instructions were clear and helpful. They kindly facilitated our very late check in as we were getting the late ferry.

Nothing, we had a lovely stay.

Beautiful spot with superb views of the Sound. Several kms from the town centre which meant a somewhat challenging drive at night if you're arriving later than usual. But not a major problem as we had stayed there before. A very cosy and romantic place to stay as a couple; we loved it.

We really don't think anything needs to change. It's a lovely place for a stop-over.

The location was absolutely perfect with gorgeous views over Whatamango Bay. Our host was extremely accommodating and had a good local knowledge. My partner and I used the free double kayak early in the morning (everything had been left for us the night before) and saw some dolphins in the bay! The room was small but comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was nice too!

It’s a bit out of Picton (around a 10/15 min drive) so you have to drive to go into the town of an evening but the views more than make up for this!

The views are incredible (even on a rainy day but we had a sunny day too!). We stayed here for 2 nights R&R and it was just perfect. The scenery was spectacular. Host was so welcoming.

Picton Town was a bit of a disappointment - quite run down and half the cafes and eateries closed but we went for R&R not for Picton!!
