It's my 2nd time staying here while needing to support my partner in hospital and The Ascot is so handy! It's straight across the road from the hospital, free parking, unlimited wifi, comfy beds, just perfect a decent comfortable sleep after an exhausting day/night/week at the hospital. Originally I had booked for 2nights, extended for another 2nights, and then was lucky a cancelation came up and I could extend my stay for an extra 3nights with no hassle. I highly recommend staying here if you are needing to be at the hospital, even just for a nice cheap stay in Wellington I would definitely consider coming back here everytime I visit Wellington

Great location, with allocated parking for each room. The room was super clean with all the facilities we required for a great stay. My child and I will definitely look to stay again in the future.

The full price for the room was charged upon booking despite the booking.com page stating no prepayment was required. The staff responded to my query about this in a factual and friendly manner, so it wasn't really a thing to dislike. More to potentially ask a few questions before booking in future. I would stay here again as the pros of the accommodation definitely made up for this.

It's not so much we didn't like it, but it was a massive inconvenience when taking a shower. Having the extractor fan and shower on at the same time sucked the shower curtain against the shower wall....and the human in the shower. The yelps are heartily laughed at by all but very annoying. The notes about use the extractor fan or the alarms might go off, meant turning it off was not an option worth thinking about.

Booked online in a hurry and was able to arrange a late check-in after hours with no hassle. Awesome friendly customer service. Clean, comfortable, not super noisy even though considering it's on a main road, great location for hospital and within walking distance to supermarket and a range of fastfood takeaways, free parking, free unlimited wifi, Great stay, highly recommend

Booking had to be rearranged last minute and they were very helpful! The room was so convenient to the hospital and parking was a bonus. The room was cleaned daily as the booking was for 4 nights and the room was freshly stocked each day. They were so good that they even helped to save my nephew from running onto the road so thank you very much for that. The stay was great because everything was exactly what we needed when we needed it. We were able n the front room and even the road noise was not an issue.

So close to the Wellington hospital, and they were so amazingly accommodating friendly and helpful during a very stressful time. They were able to extend our stay and found an additional room for more family when needed. Can not thank them enough for the care during our extremely stressful time.

Very handy to the hospital and shops as went to the hospital three times a day. The staff were absolutely amazing as we could book in early and leave the car there and when we booked out we could leave the car there all day while at the hospital and it wasn't a problem.

Directly across the road from the hospital. Plenty of parking available. 10/10 customer service! The receptionist was delightful. Shower pressure was powerful. Everything was clean and well stocked. Amazing service that I can’t fault anything. Also upgraded for free too. Amazing restaurants (pho viet best Vietnamese Ive ever had!) supermarket and bus stops are a short walk away

The place is quiet, although it's very close to Countdown and other grocery shops. This means you can get a good rest at night while also having easy access to food and shopping. The staff are friendly and approachable.

Right across the road from the hospital. With off street parking. My Wife was flown to Wellington Hospital for emergency treatment. I rushed down and forgot to take my phone charger the friendly Manger loaned me a phone charger for the night.
