The customer service from the staff was superb. The outdoor terrace on the main level offered stunning views of the city. The property was within walking distance of the Historic Center (granted, coming back was all uphill) which provided great convenience. The breakfast, while limited in scope, was very good. We felt very safe and secure at the property.

I traveled with my grown daughter. We both stayed in single rooms on the main floor which worked out great. The rooms were very adequate, but they could use a facelift. Don't select this hotel if you are looking for a 5 star option; however, if you can look past some of the cosmetic items, the value is excellent.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. From pre arranging massages and an airport taxi everything was great. Excellent communication. The road outside the hotel was shut as we arrived and they immediately dispatched two helpful guys to help us up the street with our luggage. Massages were fantastic. Rooms very clean. They kept our luggage whilst we went to Machu Picchu. Breakfast is splendid - perfectly cooked omelette to order amongst lots of other delights. If I am fortunate enough to return to Cusco I’ll be back!

Not the hotels fault but when you’re acclimatising to the altitude the walk up from Plaza de Armas is a killer!

Beautiful Hotel in San Blas with amazing views of Cusco and a beautiful garden with several seating options and a bar. The whole staff was very kind but Evelyn was of special help - thank you!! Very responsive via the booking.com chat, much appreciated and very helpful! Every evening the staff makes sure to turn on the heaters in the rooms and put a warming bottle in each bed - we loved that as it gets quite fresh at night in Cusco and it’s such an outstanding gesture! We highly recommend this hotel for everyone who is good at walking (note that this hotel is almost on top of the hill and it’s quite a walk and quite some stairs to get there from the center). Taxis make it into the street and will leave you just at the door of the hotel. However, bigger Vans cannot enter and will pick you up / drop you off a few streets down.

The hotel did not provide filtered drinking water, also not during breakfast (only hot water). It’s pretty normal in all Hotels I’ve stayed in Peru, so this surprised me. Good breakfast buffet but not too many veggie options - if you’re vegan like me then you can have some fruits and cereals and they organized almond milk on request. The only thing they didn’t have were any gluten free bread options. However, the cereals did not contain any gluten which was great. Tip for the hotel: it’s very easy to find gluten free crackers (“Sanissimo Salmas”) in Cusco’s supermarkets that would make your gluten free guests very happy 😉

By far, the best hotel that we’ve stayed at throughout Peru! Hotel sits atop Cusco (so there is a little bit of a hike to main plaza area) but come night time, the peaceful quiet and beautiful overviews of the city were perfect. Staff extremely attentive, English speaking and offered recommendations for our stay. Laundry service available, happy hour drinks, breakfast every morning. No elevator - so not handicap accessible. We took advantage of the massage services - great addition to our stay.

A little removed from the center area (but that’s also what we liked)….

Beautiful views overseeing Cusco and great service, especially by the manager, Jose.

While the location provided for amazing views, it was also an issue for my 75 year old mom who had trouble acclimatizing. Please note the location is at a higher elevation that most other parts of downtown Cusco so walking to and from can be challenging for those who are older or have not acclimatized. there’s a flight of stairs to get to the main lobby with no elevator to the rooms and the road is so small most tours won’t pick you up from the hotel so you will need to walk to meet them. It’s great for those who don’t have issues with the walk but at the elevation it can be tough for even those who are healthy.

The hotel was beautiful, felt very serene not too many rooms. It had a lovely terrace to sit and have a drink which overlooks the city. The staff were exceptional, very helpful. Helped us with taxis and restaurant bookings.

Nothing we didn’t like. The water could be a bit hotter but nothing major. To consider the hotel is at the top of the hill so those with accessible issues or that struggle with the altitude of Cusco to note that it’s uphill. Taxis cannot always drop you directly to the hotel due to the location but for us this was fine.

Amazing view from the room. The staff was lovely and helpful for anything, for example they kept our luggages. Breakfast included was fantastic, handmade bread and cakes! Cocktails delicious too with an incredible view of the city. Location was great for us after few days in Cusco, it’s in the local area, more authentic.

Room can be noisy, specially if you are close to the reception. But the staff is doing everything to make your stay better. The hotel is located in the upper part of the city. It can be difficult to access for some people because of the altitude and quiet far from downtown.

Although it’s a bit of a hike from the main plaza, it’s in San Blas, a very interesting and quaint area. We took some time to walk the cobbled streets, which were much quieter than in the center. The hotel itself is a haven of peace with a beautiful view of Cusco and the mountains beyond. We arrived after our Machu Picchu hike and got massages. I had the hot stone massage. Fabulous!!

We liked everything but I would recommend you try to get a room with a view. There wasn’t one available when we went but it would have been great to have.

It is a very nice hotel with fantastic views over Cusco and the surrounding mountains. The beds are big and comfortable, there is heating, hot water and they even put a hot water bottle in the bed for the evenings. The breakfast was fantastic, they even got us boxed breakfasts for the days we had to leave early for a hike, and teas available all day. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us. We stayed here before and after doing the Salkantay trek and we were able to store our luggage in the meantime.

This hotel was a great choice for my stay. The staff were very welcoming and empathetic, they always treated me with kindness and helpfulness, and they made me feel like they cared about my well being. The garden/terrace was a lovely place to relax after doing the various (single and multi-day) hikes in that region. The hotel was in a tranquil area, with a beautiful view of the city and the old town. The old town was within walking distance (5-10 minutes), and it had the main sightseeing attractions, as well as many great restaurants and activities/shops. The old town was also where all the activities started from. The hotel offered free water and tea at all times.
