Location is excellent, off the beaten track, at a quiet riverside corner of Porto but just a few steps away from the iconic Ponte de Luis 1 bridge and the main tourist area. The room was comfortable, spacious and bright, with wonderful view on the bridge and the river Douro. Luckily we didn't have noisy neighbours so always could have a quiet night's rest. We strongly recommend this nice little hotel for an unforgettable stay in Porto.

The lobby of the hotel is tiny, sometimes there was a queue building up in front of the reception desk. The cleaning of the room was haphasard, empty handwash bottle was not replaced for two days. Although our unit had a small kitchenette, there were no plates, cutlery or crockery provided. The bar of the rooftop terrace is not open till 1600, during daytime it is impossible to get a cold drink anywhere in the hotel. On the day of our departure the pre-ordered airport shuttle arrived far later than requested. Reception told us we could leave our properly addressed and stamped picture postcards (meant to send to Belgium and Hungary) with them, they'd post them. These postcards never arrived.

The location was excellent, right beside the river and walking distance to everywhere. I would have preferred a room on a higher level as our room had access to people walking by. The access to our room was very unusual as we had to go up in a lift then walk along a corridor and then go down in the lift. The room was a very quirky shape and although it was beside the road it was very quiet. All of the hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff were very friendly. The young receptionist who checked us in always acknowledged us when we came in. The breakfast room was great with an abundance of different choices.

The access to the room and would have preferred a higher floor.

Beautiful views, excellent location. The hotel faces the water and has stunning views of both bridges. It is a 5 minute walk to the lively downtown riverside area and pedestrian bridge. I thought it would have been noisy being so close to the road, but it was not. It was quiet and comfortable. Our room had a lovely balcony that felt so typically European with a slight breeze entering the room. The sunset made the water sparkle and the distant house glow. Very romantic and peaceful place to stay. I stayed with my two kids and we all loved it. Breakfast buffet was also wonderful.

The rooftop deck was closed and the pomegranate bath gel did not smell good, but at least they offered shampoo, conditioner, and other toiletries. Parking is difficult to find in July for anyone that has a car, but we did not have one nor need one.

Really nice location with good view of the river and bridges. Easy walking distance to both sides of the river for the touristy locations however a longish walk if you want to get to the main town which is on an upper level. Better to get a cab or Uber to get to the historic part of Porto and/or Vila Nova e Gaia.

The roof top balcony is a fantastic place to sit and take in the view but although they have a bar, it's never manned. In fact, even the main bar on the "Breakfast level" is closed much of the day but if you can find a waiter, they usually can serve you even when the bar is "closed"!

Great location few minutes walk from all restaurants , quite and close to everything. Great view from the room we had however I thought we booked a balcony and received a window but at least window opened beautiful view. Breakfast was good and staff good service.

Well every hotel we had been in for the last few months gave us bottles of water each day, this one didn't , disappointed the room I booked didn't get but ok still liked the room. Reception could be a bit more inviting, we asked to book a Restraurant which he recommended and we walked there they advised no booking. So it was hard to find anther as it was so busy.

The location was perfect, a short stroll from Ribeira, with wonderful views. Our room was very comfortable and clean. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The staff on the reception desk were exceptional. They were very patient helping us to get a taxi as we were leaving for the airport at a time when the road outside was closed for a festival procession. We enjoyed the breakfasts.

Some hot items at breakfast time could be kept hotter. Tea and coffee sachets and milk in the bedrooms were not replaced every day.

The location and views are incredible. The room was very comfortable and well appointed. The whole hotel is lovely - lots of great sitting and gathering areas. Rooftop bar is beautiful. Lovely dining room and breakfast available - great value and quality. Quick and easy walk to both sides of the river and up into town for sight-seeing. Easy cab ride to the train station or airport.

A few members of the staff seemed stressed or maybe overworked with summer tourist season. Others were super friendly, pleasant and happy to serve. The difference was a bit noticeable.

Superb location, quiet enough area yet only 10 minute walk to see the sights. Room was very large with a separate dining area, living room area with a tv in both the bedroom and living room. The bathroom had a large shower and a seperate door to the toilet. All was very clean, there was a good choice of breakfast. A glass of port was offered on our arrival whilst we checked in. The roof bar was closed but the weather wasn't very good so unable to comment on that. Overall would highly recommend and would stay again. Staff were very friendly.

Only one little thing and that was we were told there was at least a 90 minute wait for food when we sat in the bar / lounge area in the evening. They recommended us to go to a local restaurant instead of having to wait. However we wanted a night in after a long day so we ordered room service instead and the same food we would have had in the bar appeared in 15 minutes. It was a shame to see the bar area a ghost town and encouraged to go elsewhere when everyone was eating in their rooms. Better use could be made of the bar.

Very clean and comfortable. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Large room directly overlooking the river. Quiet location about 5 minutes easy walk from the bustling Ribiero area for bars and restaurants Very good breakfasts. There isn't a restaurant but there are many good ones close by, although advance booking is advised. I think some simpe items like pizzas are available from the bar at night, although we didn't see a menu for these.

More information on bar meals would be helpful.

Comfortable room, with great views of the river and bridge. Very Quiet and away from the city center if that is important to you.

It is out of city, so you miss out on some of the culture and hustle bustle of Porto. I was looking for more of a younger feel, where I could walk outside to a Cafe, restaurant, and Bar, and be right in the middle of the action, and this place was not that. Nothing wrong with the stay other than I personally didn’t appreciate the non-central location. Seems like a great place for a family or those looking for a quieter Porto experience.
