We had breakfast on one day and it was very good. Perhaps a yoghurt or granola option would also be nice. Ring was very comfortable and spacious, with good level of attention to detail and felt very comfortable

Mosquito repellent would be a good idea in the rooms. I was bitten three times on my first evening, which was very irritating. When Porto won on the Saturday evening, the noise carried on till at least 4 o’clock in the morning which was, politely, a bit of a challenge. However we can understand why there was so much excitement :-)

The apartment was outstanding: not only it is very beautifully designed but also very technologically advanced and had everything one may need. We especially enjoyed the views and the great location, just in the heart of the city. Surprisingly, the sound isolation is superb and you cannot hear the noise of the street.However ,when you prefer to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning with the view of the waking up city, there is a perfect balcony! Overall, the apartment is fully worth it and again the design is something really outstanding. We would definitely come back

There were only 2 coffee capsulas provided, and if you need more it is extra charge. I find it a bit weird for a complex and apartments of such a high standard to charge extra for a coffee capsula.

From the first welcome upon arrival (Anna), until departure, I had one of the best holiday experiences. Each and every staff member is welcoming and helpful. I stayed in a studio which was well appointed and aesthetically appealing. The location is excellent and within walking distance to most of the sites which need to be ticked off the list. Even the Dom Luis I Bridge across to Vila Nova de Gaia is manageable by foot. I highly recommend a stay at S. Bento Residences and will definitely stay here again.

Perfect location at the corner of Sao Bento next to the train station. The staff is very friendly and super helpful with restaurant suggestions and even making reservations for us. The reservations for dinner are almost a must in Portugal. Room was a good size but the pictures do make it look bigger than it is. Towels were nice.

Some stains on the carpet. No hooks in the bathroom to dry the towels and housekeeping does not change the towels for short stays. It would be noisy if your room faces the front and the doors are open, very busy square in front, but fine with the balcony doors closed. No luggage racks.

This property is located right next to Sao Bento railroad station that can be used to go to Duoro valley or some other locations. It's directly in the center of the city, and all of the major attractions are located next to it. It's really easy to get to the riverfront, and there is a metro stop next to it as well for other needs. Tourist center is located right across. The place itself is very nice and modern and even has a washing machine. Great for people who might want to make food themselves as there is great kitchen. Staff was also very helpful and awesome to talk to.

There was no free tea, and the coffee was limited to 4 capsules, at which point you had to pay for extra or buy your own. Balconies at least in the unit we stayed are pretty small. Although there is a table and 2 chairs, it would be semi-hard to sit around the table on the balcony.

Great location and really lovely apartment. Incredible soundproofing, which we definitely tested as we were there during Sao Joao! Everything you need is available and staff were helpful.

Only the smallest of tweaks. Free milk would have been appreciated with the free coffee and, given the cost, a free dishwasher tablet/washing machine tablet wouldn't have gone amiss. Greeting was very helpful and comprehensive but lacked some warmth.

• The staff and reception was absolutely stellar throughout the stay. • Love the bank of doors / windows opening to the light, and the heavy soundproof shutters at night (especially since it was in the middle of a busy tourist area). • very comfortable bed and shower. • exceptional (delivered!) breakfast.

• The studio size really suits one person better in terms of “unpacking” for a few days. While there is a small hanging rod + hangars for some clothing, there are no drawers other than a couple of shallow ones in the console / desk, nor any place other than the sofa or desk to lay a suitcase flat to work out of, much less two suitcases., • Lovely modern decor but a bit worn: lots of scuff marks on walls and baseboards, spots in rug, leaking bidet hose.

Staff was so lovely, welcoming and friendly especially Joao. The residences themselves were clean. It’s not a super fancy place but it’s really a great place to stay. Room we were in was very spacious and had a cute balcony overlooking the station. The decor was lovely and really optimized the space in a nice way. The location is excellent - walking distance from the happening places. There was a washing machine which was great and the staff can support by giving you what you need. Overall we ended up extending our stay as we really liked the place.

There is nothing I didn’t like per se.. but if I had to comment i would say the beds could be a bit better they are ok but not super comfortable (an investment in them will really make this place a 10). Elevator is too slow.

Superb Apartment hotel with excellent customer serice and helpful staff. Location is very central but as quiet as can be thanks to the glazing. Rooms are tastefully furnished and designed.

Minor issues : takes a while to understand which light switch activates which light; housekeeping was good but could be more thorough at times; the interior could do with a a pull out / retractable clothes line between the walls; there was a faint smell of drains on one or two days but I think that was to do with the drainage work being done on the outside street

Great location. Very helpful staff.

Room is dark during night time. Need a ceiling light. Light color carpet is full of stains, need replacement. Construction next to the hotel causing inconvenience. Our room was on the 1st floor, facing a cross walk of the main road. Need to close the blind to get privacy.
