The staff was super friendly and provided me with all the answers I needed, whether when I needed a flat iron or when I needed a quite space to work for a couple of hours. The room is great, I had a twin room on the 6th and highest floor with even a view where I could spot the famous bridge. Location is great as it is a couple of minutes away from the theatre square with busy bars and restaurants.

The bathroom is the weak link of the hotel, there is no water receiver and if you take a shower the whole floor of the bathroom (and at times part of the room) gets soaked.

This hotel was excellent for its price and delivered above what was expected. Prior to our arrival, I had requested a hair dryer in my booking; they gave this to me at check in without me even needing to ask for it. The reception was manned 24/7 which the staff were lovely and helpful as I had to check in very late at night. The room was large and very clean, the bed was comfortable and there was lots of space. The toilet was clean, the water pressure on the shower worked great, there were no issues with drainage in the shower and the towels were clean and neat. The rooms were tidied every day and the A/C worked well. The hotel is one street away from a main tourist area, so it is quiet but very convenient.

There were only two charging ports and one was in the corridor area of the room (so not too convenient to charge your phone), but that wasn't too big of a deal.

The location is outstanding, the center of the city is a short walk. The room was clean, well lit and with a great view on the 4th floor of the Duoro River. A bathroom I have never seen before, a pod within the room, was fine and spacious. Breakfast was Continental with many options was a great bargain.

That I couldn't take this hotel and its staff to all the places I stayed on this trip.

The location is superb for exploring Porto. The hotel and rooms are very clean. The hotel staff are Friendly, informative and helpful. We asked for extra pillows and coat hangers and these were provided quickly with a smile.... Also, we were able to borrow a hairdryer from reception.

Just a little disappointed there is no cupboard or drawers to store clothing.

The rooms were basic, in line with a budget hotel; however they were clean and the beds comfortable. Bathrooms were fine, with good showers and plenty of hot water. The location is quite central to Porto, which is a big plus. The breakfast was good and reasonably priced, and we appreciated being able to leave baggage there free while we explored the city. Most of all, we have to commend the exceptionally friend!y and helpful staff. They typically spoke great English and went out their way with restaurant recommendations, taxi bookings, and additional requests, such as a hair dryer.

We booked twin-bed rooms but we're assigned double-bedded ones. For the price though, good value all in all.

Very welcoming. Fantastic location. Excellent value for money. A bit of an uphill walk from the train/metro stations. 10 min. Wouldn't suit maybe if you're unfit - unless you take a taxi. Mind you need to be fit to get around Sao Bento in Porto. Great location. Warm and comfortable.

Nothing to complain about really. The room door was a bit heavy opening if you want to be really picky - but hey just give them a good pull!

A convenient hotel for Porto Centre, helpful reception and quick check in. Rooms are functional but comfortable at the same time. Standard continental breakfast. I would stay again.

The location is fairly central but it felt like more of a local area rather than just tourists. Some great bars and cafes nearby. the room was basic but comfortable. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast buffet had a limited range but was very good quality and tasty.

We had a great stay at the iStay Hotel. The location was exceptional, 5 minutes away from the historic town. The room was very clean and the staff was very helpful as well. Really good value for the money.

Breakfast was good Bedroom and shower room were good Staff were friendly and very helpful - reception, breakfast and cleaning staff all get my thumbs up. For me the location was excellent Traffic a bit noisy but I'm not complaining about it
