Took a total of an hour to check in. 30 minutes at first between queuing and then the whole computer system taking long, then was asked to come back as the room wasn’t ready which is fine but when I came back I had to queue again and seemed like the whole process was being started again from beginning. Was really bad experience to wait that long. A shame as the room was very nice. Another tip is I would consider changing those orange uniforms. The material looked like it was made from a sweatshirt and it was a horrible orange colour. It made the hotel look less nice. The hotel is great but the uniform make it look SO cheap. This is Milan, step it up :)

Hotel has a great location! 2 mins away from central station which can take you anywhere you might want to go especially if you're looking to go outside of Milan (like Lake Como). The Duomo is about 10 mins away on the metro which is really convenient. Hotel was really clean with spacious, modern rooms and good variety of breakfast options! There's also rooftop bars and an outside garden where you can grab some drinks. Would definitely recommend to stay here!

Conveniently located right across Milano Centrale station/Centrale FS metro station, NYX is perfect for day trips out of/within Milan! From the doorman to housekeeping, their staff are friendly and make you feel right at home. Check-in/out is a breeze. Rooms are modern, stylish, clean and comfortable.

The key card issued to me wasn't working the first 3 times (you need it for both the elevator and the room), but the staff tapped me up and quickly resolved the issue.

The hotel is new, featuring a modern design and art deco surroundings. The staff, especially the doormen, were friendly and displayed excellent service-mindedness. I had a positive experience and was thoroughly satisfied with my stay. The location and in-room facilities were excellent!

The room was comfortable, but if your room is on a lower floor, you might experience occasional vibrations, possibly from passing trains or trams, as the hotel is situated near the station but not an issue for me. We stayed away for one night at Lake Como and returned to stay at this hotel again. This time, we got a higher floor, which had fewer vibrations. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay at this hotel.

The room was very clean and all appliances modern and easy to use. All bathroom appliances were modern and clean and the AC was much appreciated in the July heat. The twin bed was comfortable. The staff were very helpful and nice. The breakfast was good, not excellent but decent enough and enough variety for everyone to find something to fuel up for the day. The hotel is super well located, just a 3 minute walk from the central train station. The neighbourhood itself is alright, not the most charming one in the city but we stayed within the neighbourhood for dinner for two nights and found great restaurants with excellent food and service both times.

The sofa bed was unfortunately quite uncomfortable.

This was not the first meeting with the “Leonardo” hotel chain. The hotel pleasantly surprised me with the location: not far from the metro, to the Duomo exactly 30 minutes by walking. The railway station and the hotel are separated by a park. The room was very comfortable: city view, clean and beautiful room, very comfortable mattress, red lighting in the bathroom, green lighting in the room (very beautiful at night). The receptionist chef shift matched the hotel room according to my parameters, was pleasantly surprised by this. The interior in the lobby is beautiful, there is also a patio for smoking, you can buy coffee and lie down on the sun loungers in silence.

Hôtel is located next to the park near of train station and one defect is people in this park… recommendation is avoid walking through this park.

We love the location of NYX Hotel! Its proximity to Milan Centrale & so many excellent, inexpensive restaurants is hard to beat & so blessedly convenient. Our twin room was adequately sized and intelligently designed so that even whilst compact there was ample space (eg ledges) to place belongings. We enjoyed the avant- garde & edgy common spaces with their colourful furnishing & electronic games machines; lots of great spaces to hang out with family & friends. The breakfast spread was good, as was the service.

While not deal breakers, there were some things that were not ideal. Proximity to the tram and bus lines mean soundproofing in some rooms might not be able to protect one from hearing & feeling the noisy rumble of vehicles until quite late. Our room had beverage sachets & a kettle but no coffee cups. When we rang housekeeping for these the staff brought us wrong items repeatedly because he spoke little English and we no Italian. Finally the young porter helped with hauling heavy luggage only when asked to.

An ideal location situated directly across from Milan Central Train Station. We walked to the Duomo which took around 45 minutes but you can easily jump on the metro from the train station and be there in 10. The hotel doesn’t look much from outside but inside it’s a super cool, chilled, art delight with a relaxed vibe. Modern, stylish, spotlessly clean, our room was huge and had everything you could need. The staff are friendly and super helpful. There is a garden area with the coolest chairs, chilled music playing - the perfect place to have a drink after walking all day. Breakfast area is spacious, lots of tables, the food is great - fresh, plenty of it and lots to choose from.

There is nothing not to like. Really enjoyed our stay here, all it needs is a roof top pool and this hotel would be perfect! 😉

A typical feature of this hotel is its uniquely shaped, rounded entrance staircase at the building corner. This staircase is not to think without the (very) friendly, (incredibly) polite and assistive reception person (or sometimes two of them), who are standing outside the hotel at the top of this staircase the whole day long, being vey attentive and waiting to assist you and giving you a friendly "hello" when you arrive ... Very soon you will like this friendly "beautiful staircase <-> polite reception person" combination and really miss it if it would not be there ... !

The "egg cake" as part of the English breakfast was prepared with a nearly fluid - like consistency, as a personal favorite, I would have liked it to be prepared with a more solid - like consistency. Real orange juice was missing, otherwise, many kinds of fresh fruits were available instead ...

Very clean, comfortable and large room, with a good size bathroom. Had coffee pot in the room since there was no free breakfast. The bar downstairs was nice.

It was right near the train station which was convenient when we first got there. Wasn't really near the center of town which would have been nicer!
