Great stopover location. Close to local street food.

Very clean and comfortable hotel. Swimming pool was lovely on the rooftop. Good variety of food for breakfast For an extra fee we were able to stay in the room for a very late checkout before our flight Walking distance to a Hawker Centre and shops

Taxi/Grab drivers often commented that the location was ‘on the edge’ of Singapore (too far from the centre). We didn’t have an issue with the location as it’s very close to the airport

Excellent property Spacious room, the staff was very friendly and accommodating A little far from the center but very relaxing and quiet place with lots of restaurants around. Bus stop is close by. Valina (the receptionist) was very helpful and provided a lot of information on moving around.

All the staff were so friendly and helpful, the rooms were spacious and clean, and the pool was awesome. The location was close to the airport but in an area where you felt like you got a local experience which was cool. There were restaurants across the road at the civil services club which was handy.

Some parts of the outside of the hotel were a little run down but the rooms were great.

I like the peace and quiet of the hotel's vicinity. Finally, it is open after nearly three years. It is my escapade from daily life. In addition, nearby Changi Village boasts some of the best food. And if you go to the 8th level by 7am, you can experience the most spectacular sunrise by the infinity pool. Going to Village Hotel Changi is like Coming Home.

I did not focus on the negative. So, it made the stay delightful.

Perfect service, only a muddy smell in the seventh floor. Not the newest hotel, but okay.

Muddy smell

Location is perfect for us - close to a hawker centre, bus station and a beach. A swimming pool where our young son can get use to being in the water. The room was big and a cot was provided. A large and very comfortable bed. Our third visit to this hotel.

Fridge in the room is not cold enough. It would be good if you could reserve the airport shuttle bus - that would remove uncertainty and make getting to the airport stress-free. Slight uncertainty about if a baby can stay for free with parents or if two rooms are needed - this maybe a Booking.com confusion.

The room was a very long walk from the lift but it was clean and comfortable with all the necessary facilities for a short stay. The pool on the roof is a great bonus and we were able to use it for lap swimming and exercise and to relax after our long flight. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful and check in was efficient with a good explanation of the hotel.

We stayed at a busy school holiday period and some families with children were extremely noisy. The hotel could manage this better and put large family groups and tour groups in a different area away from quieter couples and single travellers who don’t want these disruptive groups. Because it was busy, breakfast was a disaster with dirty dishes left everywhere on tables and a lack of turnover of fresh food at the buffet. We found it hard to find a clean table. Families and large tour groups were loud and children were running through the restaurant unsupervised. Sadly we would not choose to have breakfast here again as the management of the dining room is chaotic.

Chosen by approximate proximity to the airport rather than the main tourist areas, as it was just a short overnight stay. Staff were friendly, and the pool area looked great even though we didn't get the chance to try it. We went for a walk by the water nearby which was lovely and ate at one of the many eateries nearby - we chose one based on the number of overhead fans in full use and had some of the best calamari I have had in years.

If I was staying for a few days I would chose accommodation closer to the main tourist areas to be closer to more facilities but this one would be good for exploring the quieter backstreet areas.

As usual this is not my 1st stay here and still happy with the check in and room request.

I was told they will be able to check out at 1pm and noted that any additional will be charge accordingly. I had request for check out at 2pm but upon checking at 1pm the reception staff mention nothing further to settle. I had left the premises and 140pm I received a call from the reception staff that I needed to settle the extra extension which I clearly mentioned I checked out before 1pm and need not to pay but the staff was saying that I should settle. Informthe staff that they need to check with the staff whom check me out that I didn't need to settle and now asking me to pay.
