Susan, Markus and their entire staff do an outstanding job. Breakfast was delicious, beds very comfortable, and the water pressure in shower was outstanding.

If you want a place walkable to Lucerne this isn’t for you. But we loved the location. We easily took the bus into Lucerne and loved how quiet it was in the neighborhood. There is not an elevator (no big deal to us) and no AC. These “drawbacks” didn’t stop me from giving the hotel a 10. The positives were so amazing, the others didn’t matter to us.

We stayed here for 1 night, the hotel interior was all wooden which i loved. the hotel room was fairly large the only criticism I would have is that although the bathroom was very modern, the frosted glass partition and the lack of a door did make things awkward as I was sharing a room with my daughter, apart from that the room and hotel was fantastic, even a fridge full of cold bottles of water that you could help yourself to, also lots of free tea and coffee. We didnt eat here in the evening but the food did smell extremely good, we did have breakfast here which was very nice (the best breakfast my daughter had had while we were away as they served beef).

I can hardly describe the beauty of Landgasthof Hotel Rossli- it is out of this world! The staff was wonderful & the owners took time to personally give us a tour! We enjoyed visiting with both the husband & wife who have put their lives into this beautiful place. They were so welcoming & friendly. The hotel itself is breathtaking- if you have ever wondered what the inside of a Swiss Chalet is like- you have to stay here. The breakfast was a whole experience in itself. I just cannot say enough good things & wish we would have stayed longer.

The hotel is charming, beautifully furnished and staffed superbly. The food was fresh and well presented.

We were two friends traveling together and had the unfortunate experience of being in the attic room. While a very spacious and pretty room, the toilet was separated from the room by only a curtain. Perhaps for a couple this would have been acceptable but for friends this enforced intimacy was embarrassing and not workable. I hate leaving a negative remark when everything else was so superb but I would have appreciated being forewarned before our arrival.

The owner of the guest house Susy and Markus were so hospitable. They made sure that their guest needs were taken care of. Btw, their staff Gesila is friendly, too. I stayed in the attic room and the view was amazing especially the church bell ringing every 30 minutes added uniqueness to someone's travel experience. If you want to experience staying on a countryside and Swiss hospitality, I would definitely recommend Landgasthof Hotel Rossli.

It is a unique guest house it doesn't have an elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage though Susy was kind enough to help me carry my stuff.

The owners and staff do everything topnotch. They made our 40th anniversary very special, giving us an excellent suite, special dessert and special attention at dinner, and Mark gave us a special gift on the way out. This place is special. The breakfast is very good. Coffee and water is available along with snacks and fruit at no additional cost.

I really loved the surroundings of the hotel. Its quiet and peaceful, just exactly what you need from the hustle of the city. The room is private and I felt safe staying in there. The bus stop is just 2 min walk away and the bus brings you right to lucerne city. Very convenient!

Location was perfect in small village adjacent to bus stop, providing quick access to Lucerne. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and well-appointed rooms with amenities including complementary coffee, water, mineral water and cookies. Excellent restaurant on site - exceptional breakfast and multi-course dinners. Excellent lodging.

Gorgeous hotel, very close to a bus stop (that takes you to the centre of town). Our bedroom was super comfy and well equipped. All our needs were catered for. The breakfast was amazing and you could see the hand of a renowned chef in the selections and presentation. We had the absolute pleasure to meet Janine (a hostess at the hotel). She was exceptional and one of our two favorite hosts, that we encountered on our entire holiday. She was attentive, so friendly and helpful - an asset to this hotel!

The room size was very large and we had a lovely balcony with the view of the mountains. The breakfast was very good with eggs made to your choice and plenty of options! The restaurant wasn't open for dinner the evening we were there, but there was a great restaurant opposite that they recommended. We felt very welcome during our stay and we would gladly visit again!
