Everything was great at the hotel. The staff were so friendly and always helpful! It had the feel of a bed and breakfast, so we felt like we knew each staff member after the first day. The breakfast was delicious. The coffee and eggs were made-to-order, but you could help yourself to a buffet of yogurt, granola, fruit, cheese, and bread with jam. The room was large and clean. We requested a window that overlooked the lake and we were not disappointed with the views! The hotel is away from the city center (a 10 minute walk along the lake or a 2 minute bus ride), so we were able to sleep with the window open at night and not hear any loud noises. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a more intimate hotel vibe.

Everything, absolutely everything! Beau Sejour is like the most warm and hospitable hotel i have stayed at. The staff are polite and helpful, the rooms are super comfortable and of a very nice size. The views are amazing and you're just a hundred feet from dipping your toes in the lake. The property is easily accessible by bus from Luzern Bahnof. Mariya checked us in. While we were quite a few hours early and only expected to put our luggage in the deposit before heading out, Mariya worked her magic and made a room available for us immediately. Juliette took care of us at breakfast on 2 out of 3 days.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff, balcony with lakeside view of beautiful park and Lake Lucerne, clean and comfortable, quaint old building redone with modern amenities, completely remodeled bathroom with all new fixtures, reasonably priced laundry services, beautiful terrace and wonderful breakfasts. Convenient and free public transportation to city center, train station. Excellent staff! Staff recommended restaurants though some were closed for holiday. Staff arranged taxi at departure even though front desk closed. Staff returned prescription glasses left in room.

No in-hotel restaurant for dinner and no restaurant open nearby. No valet. No front desk staff 11pm-7am.

Awesome experience staying in this property. I travel for work and stay at quite a few properties - but this one exceeds all expectations. Here is what I liked: 1. I booked the hotel for family travel. The location is right by the lake which is a destination in itself. You can walk right out to the lake , take a dip, take in the views. The property is also very close to the bus stop and so it is very easy to connect to the central station. 2. The lobby and the walls and the rooms are artfully decorated. The reception doubles up as a bar- and greets you with water. They can provide all kinds of drinks throughout the day - talk about a great perk. You can sip coffee in the veranda and enjoy the view or have some down time with your family in the beautiful parlor. 3. The staff is super helpful. They helped us with appliances, directions, recommendations and even serving drinks till late in the night. 4. The hotel practices an ethos of "true love" - which is evident in their service, their attention to detail and small goodies that they leave for guests in the room

1. Coming from USA, I am used to cental ACs in rooms, but like other Swiss hotels in the region, this didn't have a central AC. They had a standalone bulky AC in each room - which did the job very well. So a nit, not an issue.

Hotel 'Beau Sejour' is located in Front of the Lake, next to the promenade (and playground) , a 10-15min walk to the City center / Verkehrshaus. Perfect for us as a family! The family room (divided but connected in 2 Different rooms) has great confortable beds/Duvet/cushion and everything else that is needed. The Hotel Crew is super friendly, helpful, we felt a strong familiar atmosphere, Like 'at home'. Breakfast highly recommend, especially the 'oeuf cocette'. All very fresh, no Food waste! A perfect stay for a family but I would also recommend to go as couple Or single person!

The walls are thin, depending on the neighbors it can be quite loud next door.

Stop looking for other hotels in Lucerne. This is the hotel you want to stay in! The staff of Hotel Beau Sejour are excellent! They are so friendly and helpful. They were also really flexible when we asked if we could leave the car in the car park a little later than check out time, so we had a little more time to explore Lucerne before our departure. The room had the view of the lake and the mountains and we really liked the interior design of our room and the lobby of the hotel. The breakfast was perfect. We had the options of lots of Swiss cheeses and breads and many more breakfast options... We also loved it that they themselves made the coffees (lovely cappuccinos) and teas for all the guests, instead of using a coffee machine yourself in the breakfast room. It is not necessary, but it adds a luxurious touch to the breakfast! We only stayed one night in Lucerne, but we will come back to the city and defenitely book this hotel again!

Hotel Sejour is about 15 min walk to Lucerne town centre or alternatively a bus stop is nearby. Hotel decor has flair and personality, a trait often missing from major hotel chains. Parquet wooden floors, mosaic tiling and a even record player in the chilled lobby area! Staff were very attentive and friendly during our stay, particularly Fabianne. Breakfast in the ballroom included delicious freshly baked bread, croissants, a selection of cheeses, fresh fruit, granola & locally sourced honey. My Scandinavian/retro vibe room was clean, bright and airy but also very warm. Would highly recommend.

Very comfy beds, fantastic breakfast, super nice helpful staff. Excellent location, 10-15 minute walk to center. Wi-Fi great, USB charger plug in the room, welcome chocolate bar very appreciated

I got an interior room, which was OK, but not so nice as the rooms with the big beautiful windows out front. Room decoration is sparse and a bit old-fashioned, door key is also clunky old European style. But that's what you expect from an older building, so not a problem.

OMG…. This place was sensational. Perfectly positioned right by the Lake and a very quick bus ride into town. Swimming spot directly opposite plus a public baths close by. Rooms were immaculate with quirky decor. The staff went over and above and were incredibly helpful. Breakfast was typically continental and excellent quality. We did have fun with the monkey souvenir left in our room 🫢

Nothing…. It was everything we hoped for and more.

We took two rooms as we were traveling with my two kids (teenager and pre-teen). We had the "budget double" without lake view and expected something quite basic. In fact, the rooms were lovely, stylish, warm, with well-equipped bathrooms, and of very good size. The staff were exceptinoally friendly and helpful throughout - in fact, check-out was so swift that I completely forgot to tip! The common areas are stylish and welcoming.

I'm not a huge fan of the fact that the hotel lies on a very busy street, but the rooms were very quiet and it has the advantage of being just a quick bus ride from the train station (bus stop right in front of the hotel).
