We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a room that overlooks the lake, which is absolutely wonderful. Additionally, we were delighted to find a Dyson hair dryer in the bathroom, which indicates the hotel's high standards. The breakfast also exceeded our expectations, offering a wide range of options, including the option to have eggs made to order by the attentive and professional staff. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed with the hotel and its staff.

Classic hotel with beautiful decor rooms, dinning room and bar. Fantastic location overlooking Luzern but very assessable to the town via a lift from the hotel to the lake front. Very hospitable staff. Wonderful food in the La Scala restaurant and highly recommend the 6 course dinner with wines

Truly a 4 or 4.5 star hotel. Views are excellent. Although there is not a pool or gym, you are provided free access to nearby beach club to go swimming at the Lake. Also free bus passes. It is a 10-15 minute walk into town. Food is very expensive at the hotel. Staff is excellent.

This property is not located in the center of Old Town but quite an easy and lovey walk to get there. Beautiful views from the hotel and our room. The staff was so kind and the rooms were spotless. Every detail was well managed. We would love to come back and stay longer!

Loved the Beach Club…such a chill out zone with the most stunning views. Hotel was in a great location. Nice stroll into town.

This is Lucerne…it’s expensive!! Hated how cigar and cigarette smokers can light up when your having drinks/dinner.

- In the morning at the check-in we have asked if it is possible to get a reservation at the Montana Beach Bar. We were told that unfortunately it is not possible as the Beach Bar does not take any reservations. Later we learned that they do take reservations for the hotel guests. That was a very awkward moment and we lost the opportunity to see the sunset. - Our room had basically no view at all and then I asked myself is it really worth it or should we just came for the Montana Beach Bar or for brunch to enjoy the view.

the room had a view over looking the lake, the hotel was just minutes from the center and lake the room is updated i liked the bathroom. you can have your breakfast with a view of the beautiful lake Luzern.

Nice hotel high up on a hillside. A funicular in the lobby takes you to street level where you can catch the bus and be in the tourist area in two minutes. The beach club is a place to have drinks and casual food and enjoy the best view in town.

For the price we paid breakfast should have been included.

Great location, funicular is really handy. Staff were lovely and accommodating. The view from the beach club was something else… amazing! All the little touches were great, Dyson hairdryer was a great! Got lucky with a free parking space too :).

Only minor criticism is the air con unit was loud and kept buzzing even when turned off.

Me and my family come back to the Hotel Montana time and time again for its comfortable and spotless rooms, extremely helpful personnel and the most beautiful view in the city.

Everything was perfect.
